Misleading description and on the return I have to pay shipping both ways and they take 25% off my return credit. Bad experience.

Curry powder spices to marinate chicken etc. cool little shop The desserts. If you like baklava they have a great selection. So many to choose from. They are sweeter fyi. Everyone. Gets the knafeh. They have two different kinds. I would probably prefer it without the syrup they pour on it. But I am sure traditionally you have it with it. Nice owner. Great service. Clean place. Definitely a nice spot to support

The plaza has plenty of parking and houses a few other ethnic restaurants and spas, so it's very easy to get to during a Disneyland trip. Inside, there are tons of stuff from the Levant, spices, halal gummies, imported chocolates, homemade Dubai chocolate, and a huge selection of Turkish delights and roasted nuts made by them. They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.

My wife and I stopped in on…read morethe first day of H2 2026, and found a lot of interesting things, some of which we bought and others we will save for later. Kelly helped us to gather and purchase three things: small dried chinese ginseng root ($9), Herbal Tea Blend ($6) to hopefully remediate canker sore symptoms, and a custom made herbal oil ($20) for natural pain management. She spent quite a bit of time with us, since the last two things needed the backroom to custom formulate. Square is their payment processor, with credit cards and Venmo being accepted. Types of product: -- a large collection of herbs, available as single ($10 per oz) or combined ($15 per oz). -- donated herbs and dry goods section: visitors can place or take shelf-stable products. Would have thought -- collective: various donation based sponsored clinics/classes. one example is 'Intro to Herbalism', taught once a month (first Saturday of every month). -- chocolates from Endorfin foods -- custom made essential oils, with testers -- incense sticks and sets -- loose teas at $3 - $4 per oz -- books and literature -- apothecary supplies -- gemstones and tarot cards The inside is super organized, promoting a sense of calm to explore. Kinda reminded me of some of the shops in Sedona, AZ. Their website is also very good, neatly organized to help you find what you need. Parking is limited (one driveway spot for customers), but street parking in the area during the day is not so bad. I think the best description about their business is what they wrote about themselves: "Green Wisdom provides highest quality bulk herbs, ethically sourced, and apothecary ingredients and supplies. We have a skilled herbalist on staff at all times to answer questions, create personalized formulas, and offer assistance. We are also one of the most respected herb schools in California, offering apprenticeships, workshops, and individual classes. In 2020 we will be providing donation-based herb clinics staffed by our advanced apprentices and overseen by trained herbalists."

This is the only herbal apothecary in the area that I'm aware of and it's also one of the few affordable apothecaries in Long Beach. You can tell their mission is really to make herbal remedies and medicine from the earth accessible to everyone. All of the women I've encountered who work at and run this door are deeply knowledgeable. My favorite activity is to go here with some type of issue or ailment and to ask them to make me a custom tea blend to help support my body's healing capacity. But this place is so much more than tea and herbs! It's a lovely little marketplace which features crystals locally made honey and handmade trinkets of all kinds! Every visit feels like a unique, tiny adventure and I look forward to coming every single time.
