Just run. Targeted by Facebook ad for $39 first time facial.. figured why not. Space is nice however service was not. #1 different pop/r&b music was playing in room on what sounded like a phone. It was graphic and not spa appropriate at all. #2 she didn't wash my face at all. She asked if I had anything on, I said a little makeup, she used an oil based makeup remover but then didn't wash it, just started applying mask product, THEN put headband on my hair pulling mask product onto my hair and placed paper towels on my chest? Weird because this place looks nice and has potential but service was very amateur and cheap. Not sure how effective that product was when my face wasn't even cleaned. She did several quick masks and led treatment. She was nice, she really was. I get this is a hard economy and places like this are very sales heavy with extremely overpriced product. However I've had at least a hundred facials in my life, this was a step above a mall kiosk trying to slather product on. At checkout I was offered half off product.. eye cream was $170 prediscount. As someone once said.. "run do not walk.. RUN! Shady salespeople and company overall." Their sales people use heavy pressure tactics to sell their overpriced snake oil in a pretty jar. The sales people sit on the outside of the door, trying to prey on the weak, in this case my elderly mother. I was not impressed one bit. Of course they make everything sound like oh it's such a deal, look at the site $700 is the asking price for Tresor Rare. They tell you, for you I will make a special offer.. only $300 and I'll throw in a product for free. I'm sorry, but if this stuff was so great you'd have lines down the road. Trust me, this isn't a hidden secret you have happened upon and no one else knows about. They are selling garbage that quickly wears off and leaves a white residue when you leave the shop. The product works by dehydrating out the "water" but is merely a very temporary fix and who knows what the long term effects are (I'm thinking long term this does more damage than good). The ingredient list is huge with many additives and junk. Before you consider doing business with them, make sure you read up on all the complaints and sales tactics of Tresor Rare reps.. there are endless complaints online. If I could give this place negative stars I would, this definitely soured our Sedona trip. UPDATE: I do appreciate Hadas Fisher, who is apparently in Customer Care, reaching out to me in regards to this review, and at least showing some sympathy of the situation. Hadas also did ask me to visit again to give them a second chance, and to remove my review in the meantime. Unfortunately as much as I wish this experience never happened, I can't just "delete" a review that is open and honest. I also don't see myself rushing back to Sedona just to try the salon again. We went to Sedona for my birthday and we spend the weekend (this weekend actually)! We were walking with my dog and a lady outside the store wanted to let him and say hi! Then out of nowhere I find myself inside the store, she was very pushing not taking a no for an answer! It was my birthday so for some reason I felt rude to say no! She send me to a lady who was inside to talk to me about an eye cream that I didn't want nor requested. She wasn't wearing a mask, and didn't put it on... she made me feel so uncomfortable. I asked her if she was an esthetician since she was talking about products and she said no. She applies it with a Q tip and hand me a mirror immediately and she asks me if I see a result? Because she says that I have really bad under eyes. Mind you, I'm an Esthetician and I own my own business at home. I'm don't want to be rude and I understand that because of Covid people are trying to maintain their business afloat but this tactic is aggressive and rude. Specially coming from a sales person that actually knows nothing about ingredients and how the product actually works! I asked her and all she told me was that it helps with under eyes. I told her I wasn't interested, and she started talking about a peel that is only $399 a special deal for me! Lol. Then she asked me if I wanted to buy it and to remember to be consistent in order for it to work because my under eyes are really bad. The product does tighten up your skin but it feels terrible and was applied thick enough o leave a chalky white residue. Also the dark haired man who I could hardly understand applied an exfoliant to my arm and when he wiped away the exfoliant asked "when was the last time you washed your arm?" I was at the one in Scottsdale. Same thing, got free sample then asked where I was from and invited me in for another sample - so I thought. Was a sales pitch for collagen serum. I agree with another post - like egg whites that dried hard. Same pitch - lasts years and only need to use once a week. Question? How can a product have a shelf life for years once it's open? If their products are so good, why do they resort to such dubious business practices? I felt like I was being manipulated and misled by both salesmen I dealt with during the entire experience. I made a purchase and was then led to the back for what was supposed to be a 5-minute free consultation. After an hour in the back room listening to a tv playing a recurring scene of crashing waves that I believe may have covered subliminal messages, I agreed to purchase products and have them mailed to me. Before I left, I directly asked Ethan if they had a return policy, "in case I didn't like it or something." His response was "Oh, you will..." The next morning when I tried to return the merchandise I bought and cancel my order for what they were going to send me, I discovered that Ethan had been less than truthful with me because I was then told that they had a no return policy. The refused to cancel my order - which they shipped to me 2 days later. I see Mariah Carey is endorsing Tresor Rare products. I wonder if she realizes how people are treated in their stores. I can't believe she would endorse such shameful behavior by their sales staff.
