Pecan product comparison from my recent order.

Some of the best almonds, pistachios and pecans I've ever tasted! I purchase about 20-30 lbs of nuts a year for smoothies and snacking. Have patronized The Naked Nut for years, and with extensive internet searching, I recently came across Bella Viva Orchards and Naturally Nuts, ordering from both to compare. Naturally Nuts' roasted/salted almonds were so fresh and delicious with just the right amount of salt, great crunch and great roasted flavor...way above the same product from Bella Viva (who shipped a bag that was already over 2 months past its 'Best By' date, but they did ship me a fresh bag when I complained). Naturally Nuts' pecans were fresh, plump and delicious, whereas Bella Viva's were shriveled and near flavorless; see accompanying comparison photo. Naturally Nuts' pistachios were again beautiful, fresh and tasty! When the Naturally Nuts' shipment arrived, I couldn't stop munching on them!

Quality nuts & candy, fresh & reasonably priced. I only wish they had a location in Bakersfield.

I love their small packaged options. I visit often but especially during the holidays for gifts.

I know some people prefer Godiva or bougie European chocolates (and I do love many of those also), but it's not just nostalgia that makes See's my favorite chocolate shop. The quality, selection, and taste has me for life. I never pass up the California brittle or Almond Royal. Every time I'm in town, my husband and I get at least a half pound box. I hope that never changes.

The young girl (seemed new) was really nice and was going to give me the 'sample' I had requested. I wanted to try a particular flavor but the older woman working told her "only whats in the box". I have been going to this location since it opened, and many different stores in California and other states. Not ONCE have I been told, "only what's in the sample box". Not sure if she was having a bad day or she was just disgruntled but not a good look for the shop. The young lady (great attitude and smile) gave me a different sample that I threw away after a small bite, after spending $100 just this visit alone. This won't stop me from buying See's but I am hoping the other person won't be helping me.

Small and congested inside; line moves fast. The display showcases all kinds of chocolate treats, smores, truffles, marshmallows, pretzels ohh my! We ordered a chocolate covered pretzel; a chocolate covered s'more and an almond cluster ( chocolate, almonds and Carmel). Delicious , sweet, hit the sweet tooth craving! Only downside is ; treats are over priced; pretty expensive. One pretzel is $3; almond cluster and chocolate covered marshmallow are $7 each. Feel like if we ordered more stuff, woulda went broke. Costs add up fast, and there is nowhere to sit and eat; so it's more of a grab and go shoppe!

I gladly added the apple and she asked if any of the apples were to be cut.I said no, and she gladly packaged him to go.The young lady behind the counter seemed confident and seemed to like her job. This location is always clean behind the counter as well as on the guest side. The ingredients always seem fresh. And the apples are always crisp. I usually don't get chocolate but today I opted for a white chocolate peanut butter cup, which is large enough? The the young lady offered to cut it in quarters for me, I didn't take a picture because I was too busy eating it. Anyway moving on no problem here.

We already…read moreknow Bravo Farms for its fresh food, so we were excited to experience the more elevated menu and enjoy drinks at the bar. The upstairs has an open seating concept, with only a few tables reserved ahead of time. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and casual, with low lighting, large comfortable chairs, and an intimate feel that's perfect for a date night or relaxed dinner. Keep in mind that the prices are higher than downstairs, but so is the menu. We started with a White Linen cocktail, which was incredibly refreshing on a hot summer afternoon and the perfect way to kick off our visit. We originally planned to order the Burrata Caprese with Fresh Basil, but they were sold out--which must mean it's a popular choice! Instead, we opted for the Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts, and they were absolutely delicious. The dish featured thinly sliced Serrano chilis that added just the right amount of heat. The crunch from the walnuts paired perfectly with the feta cheese and balsamic reduction. Best of all, the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly--crispy and tender without being soggy in the slightest. We loved this unique take on Brussels sprouts and can't wait to return to try more of the menu. Mia was our server and was both friendly and helpful, making our experience even better.

I took some stars off due to poor service, this time around, food preparation and restaurant hours of operation. The restaurant closes promptly at 9:00 pm, so typical of Visalia dining. We got there at 8:00 pm and it took a good 15-20 mins for waitstaff to take our order. We ordered two appetizers and cocktails and the food came before our cocktails. So, unbeknownst to us, we literally had about 25-30 minutes to eat and drink...ridiculous and unacceptable to not be informed of our short dining time. The restaurant lights came on promptly at 9ish, pretty much informing dining customers that it was time to wrap it up. But prior to that, while still clearly eating and drinking, waitstaff kept coming by trying to pickup our appetizer plates (they still had plenty of food left & our drinks were still full)..like I said rushing us out. It was definitely a poor experience. The appetizer of fried calamari was a miss, not crispy and clumps of calamari stuck together. The sweet potato fries were limp and not hot. Our cocktails were delicious. I'm so disappointed that I had such a poor experience at the Hayloft.

I remember when they first opened on Pine Street, a tiny bakery with nothing but ambition, a mixer, and cookies that tasted like someone finally figured out how to bake nostalgia. Those cookies are still the heart of the place. Crisp edges, soft centers, warm enough to make you forget whatever else is happening in your day. Every week brings a new flavor, sometimes a surprise, sometimes a classic, but always worth stopping in for. It's the kind of bakery where you walk in expecting the usual and walk out with something you didn't know you needed. When they expanded to E Street, the space grew but the soul didn't change. Same cookies, same warmth, same feeling that you're supporting a business that actually cares. And now they've franchised into downtown Visalia, a small victory for a bakery that started with nothing but dough and a dream. I haven't been yet, but I already know what I'll find: the same honest cookies and the same friendly faces. Their fruit smoothies deserve their own mention bright, fresh, and surprisingly good. The kind of drink that reminds you that small towns can still surprise you. And the staff? They talk to you like you're already a friend. No corporate scripts, no forced smiles. Just real people running a real business in a real town. Parking is simple, just street parking, no designated lot. It's part of the charm, really. You pull up, grab a cookie, and blend right into the rhythm of Exeter. And here's what makes Just Dough With It even more special: they don't just sell their own treats. They support other small businesses by stocking local chocolates, honey, popcorn, rice crispy treats, and more. It's a bakery that doubles as a showcase for the community, proof that when one small business grows, it lifts others with it. Working in town, I get coworkers asking me to pick up a few cookies on my way out. Friends call me after trying the place for the first time, telling me how good everything was. That's the mark of a true local gem, when people don't just enjoy it, they remember it. Just Dough With It isn't trying to be a destination bakery. It's trying to be part of the town. And it succeeds, one cookie at a time.
