The only thing I would say negative is that there was quite a bit of foul language coming from the warehouse, and my son was in the car. I rolled up the window and he couldn't hear it anymore, and honestly foul language is fine with me... My son was little enough that he didn't really get it anyway, but still. I would definitely recommend otherwise. Leave the kids at home though.

You need to choose between 1 1/2 or 2" tubing. Service was friendly and helpful. I'll likely be going back next time I need more steel. Another downside is that they only accept cash or check! No credit cards... so be prepared if you visit!

We have visited more than 10 stone yards/showrooms all around Boston. Our experience with Boston Granite Exchange (BGE) has been exceptional. Unlike many other showrooms, BGE staff escorted us to the showroom to see stones. Without pushing their personal preferences, they helped us to select the quartzite that was right for our kitchen, our house, and our taste. They were always there to answer questions and they made it very easy to hold slabs for 7 days. BGE in Haverhill probably has the largest selection of natural stone - and certainly quartzite - in the Boston area. West Bridgewater is smaller but has most of the same stones. We were very impressed with Tricia in West Bridgewater and Dave in Haverhill and they were both knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I would highly, highly recommend Boston Granite Exchange - they are the best of the best in Boston. Thanks Dave and Tricia! PS Don't let their name fool you - they do more than just granite and have a full selection of natural stone including marble, granite, and quartzite. They often have different lots of the same stone so you can select the veining that works best for you. And they also offer quartz as well.

I then called to rent a different tool that met my needs, and the transaction went through successfully. Later, I called again to confirm the exact delivery time, only to be told--again--that there was a waiting list. I explained that this was very upsetting, especially since I had spoken with someone by phone and was assured that my reservation was confirmed. In response, the person on the line told me to "watch your language"--even though I had not used inappropriate language, just expressed frustration. I genuinely cannot recall being treated with such disrespect by a reputable company. To make matters worse, I've already been charged, despite being told there's a waiting list. This is unacceptable.

Shout out to Kelly Thomas Operations Supervisor. She is the nicest most knowledgeable person there…read more My husband had issues trying to rent a hydraulic liftgate trailer. Each time he called he was assured the correct trailer would be ready for him. Sadly, each time he thought that he was all set he would find out that the wrong trailer type was reserved for him. They would reserve a tilt deck trailer rather than the hydraulic liftgate that lowers level to the ground for moving heavy large items. He somehow (thank goodness) found Kelly of the Haverhill, MA location who was not only able to get the correct trailer but took extra time confirming that it was in fact the correct one and she apologized for everything he went through. He did have to go to the Braintree location which was a far drive but at least he had the correct trailer. Kelly is A++++ Justina at the Braintree location was very nice and so helpful when he picked it up. He was able to return it to the Haverhill location which was much closer for him.
