This is a small restaurant that specializes in all kinds of area of food . You can order a healthy meal grilled with a smoothie or juice . Down to a platter of fried chicken wings. I ordered the cat fish salad, and fish and take . The whiting fish and take is a chopped up fish sandwich with onions and peppers and some sort of special sauce on a roll . The sandwich was very salty and messy . I would not recommend . However the salad was very appeasing but alil salty . I would return to this restaurant and try a smoothie option and grilled fish . I've came here for breakfast and was in the mood for fried chicken for some reason. So I ordered chicken wings. As I was putting my order in I saw the cook making other breakfast Items and it will looked so tasty and well made. So I said add a waffle to those wings. The total was 8$ with a drink. Not bad for 5 wings and a huge waffle. The place is locally owned and has a whole juice bar section. After getting my food I went back to my car to eat it in a rush because I had to get back to work. It was amazing. I could tell the waffles are homemade and not stuff out of a packet. The wings are made to order not sitting under a heating lamp. The wings had a nice crunch and flavor. Already buttered waffles with nice crispy wings is such a great combo. The syrup was a perfect compliment to both. I will def return for breakfast if I'm in the area for a job. They menu is loaded with variety, for your seafood lovers, soul food lovers, healthy juicers, Caribbean food, Subs sandwiches and grilled food. This place used to be the spot. I was introduced in the beginning of the summer and it's a short walk from my house. But as of now, the only thing hittin is the fried chicken and cat fish. Dassit!! I used to get their salmon cakes, grits, whiting, Mac and cheese... though I never did get to try their smoothies though. Slowly, but surely the quality and the taste of the food has gone down. The grits are runny tasteless mess. The Mac and cheese that use to be to die for has unfortunately turned into over or under heated left overs. I've never had their smoothies because every time I've tried they didn't have this fruit or that veggie from their advertised menu to make it. One particular day I REALLY wanted a smoothie and went through 4 different menu choices before giving up. It was then that I realized that the fruit behind the glass looked old. They started serving seafood (crab legs) a short while ago and I bid you to save your money. The crab legs are not rinsed well, or if at all. My order was dripping water everywhere and was bland AF without a lick of seasoning or butter. I honestly could do without both because crab itself is pretty sweet but the sea water pouring from my legs muddled the taste. I don't order from here much anymore but this is definitely my spot for fried chicken and fried cat fish. They use the same seasoning for both. Go figure. read more
