I even met the owner, who was taking orders and cooking, and she was so personable. I had the ribs(falling right off the bone), Mac & cheese, greens, and a bean pie for dessert. I had the whiting, yams & greens with a side of potato salad. My husband had the Hawaiian wings, mac and greens. I did not receive corn bread. I believe they ran out but from previous reviews I see that the platters come with cornbread. My husband went to get the food so he wasn't aware. Nor did the staff say anything. This man took half of the corner of mac and gave it to my husband as a side. He might as well gave it to him for free. How do you consider half of a corner a side. They didnt have fries as a side, they ran out of shrimp so we couldnt order that, and they had no Hawaiian sauce. The wings were a bit small but they were not greasy. The mac was eh, the rice needed a lot of salt, and the yams were on point. The whiting fish was THE BOMB! They were big, fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. Defiantly worth the $1 per piece (3 piece min). I wanted to order cake but they didnt have that either. I ordered on Uber eats for pickup they marked my food as ready for pickup and then when I got there. Only had one ordered prepared. I told them I had two they had me wait about 30mins for my order. A lady came out didn't greet me but instead yelled I need to put on a face mask. The staff is in the back congregating, then they're not acknowledging you or keeping you informed of your order. Then they came out and told me that there was a mix up and they sent the order out if I want to take more Uber orders i can and come back then I told her no this is my food to take home for dinner. Then all of a sudden its coming off the grill. After waiting for 30mins the owner then wants to come out and apologize when I feel that should of been done when you first realized there was an error 30 mins prior not just have me standing there. I felt it was bad customer service and the owner said she doesn't care because its her business and she can operate it the way she wants too. And I can get my hostile ass out of her restaurant.... when I told her that she needs to train her staff to have better customer service skills and interaction her excuse is because they are new.
