I have been coming here since I moved to SCV which was a few months ago,I have gotten my nails done here around 4-5 times but this time my nails didn't even last a Day... I got them done Saturday and when I took a shower Sunday morning it started peeling off I get it, the water might get the top of it but should not peel off my entire polish! Even back then when I would shower with these nails it would last up to a week or two! I'm shocked, there is great service here and very nice people but don't know if I would come back for my nails to be polished!:/ read more

I really hate leaving bad reviews and I haven't done so in along time. This experience felt warranted and maybe it was just a bad day for the person who did my nails or the rainy weather, but it definitely wasn't because they were busy. I made an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure together both gel. Came in before my time and they took me because they were not busy. This is my first time at this place and I was hoping to make it my nail salon home. Normally at previous places when I'm getting a gel mani and pedi they do both in the pedicure chair to save time. I first went to the nail booth like I was just getting a gel manicure. I then asked, "Can I please still get a gel pedicure? That is what I booked this for also". The woman said yes and continued doing my nails. I just thought okay, everyone does things different and it'll just be a little bit longer in time , that's ok. She then did my gel manicure and it was the fastest manicure I've ever been through. Also, my hands are no beautiful woman's glory. I wash dishes, I repair things in my house, and I don't get my nails done often so they are ROUGH looking. She didn't get any of my cuticles and didn't paint all of the nail. I had to tell her to fix my nails twice because she left paint on my fingers and it was very obvious. Anyways, moving on to the pedicure... it was great except I guess she forgot I booked it for gel and just didn't do gel. She did a normal pedicure and only went over my toenails once with the color which was red and needs multiple coats otherwise it will be seethrough. So I have seethrough toenails now. She then saw another client come in and after painting just left me and said thank you. Lol. She didn't tell me how long to wait to get up, or take the things out of my tows, or put my sandals on like my other nail places... nothing just left. Then after about an awkward 20 min I asked out loud to everyone can I please leave?? And someone finally came over to me. Again I feel so bad so making this review but something felt off and idk what I did to deserve this. I got my mani pedi at 2pm today and my fingernail gel is already peeling and chipping by the way.... So much for getting ready for a wedding :/ read more

They are really friendly here, and I am usually able to walk in without appointment for a gel manicure. Prices are competitive and ambiance is very beautiful, but I really dislike how they remove gel manicures with the acrylic drill and then they have you soak your nails in a jar with a sponge and acetone. It never seemed sanitary because I could always see nail chippings inside these jars. It also felt really damaging/weakening to not only my nails, but the skin around my nails were always super dry and irritated after soaking. read more

So I showed up thinking I'd get charged $17 for my pedicure, but walked in and noticed it went up to $18. I thought $1 isn't bad so I stayed. I was lead to a spa chair right away and my pedicure was started. All my nails were cut uneven so I had her do it again. Once my nails were done I noticed that the edges weren't painted so I had her fix that too. Then I go pay and I'm told it's $22. I look up and see that $18 is for a regular pedicure where they just soak your feet in a regular basin and $22 is for what they call a spa pedicure. They never asked what I wanted, they just lead me to the most expensive choice. I got that and much more for $18 in the valley. There they cleaned out ALL the dead skin and cuticles and even ingrown nails. Here I just got the minimum. I think next time I'm just going down to the valley. It'll be worth the drive read more

Not one to review places, but after this happened I felt it was necessary!! Went in for an acrylic gel fill on Tuesday, on Wednesday I got this big chunk of gel hanging off the nail and a small spot off another nail! Only ONE DAY!!! I pay for gels so that this does not happen!! The last two sets I have had from other places easily lasted me one month without any chips!!! I will not be coming back here. First time customer and.... Super disappointing. (Horrible)Gel manicure and (decent) regular pedicure= $42, which is overpriced after execution. Either not enough gel was applied (notice the unevenness in color) or too much gel was applied, causing the polish to drip onto my bare skin and dry like that. Technician was willing to leave as is if I hadn't spoken up and asked her to fix the job she rushed through. I finally decided to get my nails done after weeks of debate and weighing the pros and cons. After I went into a few places that didn't have time to see me, I found natural nails. They were mostly friendly and the woman that did my nails was quick. I didn't get much pampering as the previous post suggests. I got my set in less than half an hour including the 5 minutes holding my nails to a fan. I got black tips which the manicurist painted on herself. I was happy with my investment and left the shop. I paid $30 and it seemed a little steep but i thought that was status quo since I dont know what it usually costs. Everything seemed fine. TWO DAYS LATER! My nails started to break off, not only was it painful but extremely disappointing. After five nails broke off, I decided to take the rest of them off. I was very sad at the whole ordeal. The place is clean, the staff is friendly & the services are comparable to the "big forum" salons, except MUCH less noisy & you DONT feel like you're in a mani/pedi factory. Regular clients are known by name and they're not so overbooked that they cant see you on the same day of your call. No annoying tv blasting or the smell of acrylic attacking your nose. I've been tempted to write a review for this salon and held back due to the front lady being super sweet but at this point it's ridiculous. First I called and was told $5-10 to have my fake nails removed and I said Is it $5 or is it $10 (because my nail guy was out of town and I am usually not charged) I knew I would have to pay because I am not a regular at this salon, which is fine. I was told they would do it for $5 and that a full set with gel was $30. When I arrived they clearly did not want to go through having to remove my nails and told me I was ok to get a fill. Even though I've this set on for about 3x already and my real nails underneath were VERY long I was told they could make it look very clean underneath and there was no need for a full set. So, I took the nail techs advice, who wouldn't? My nails came out cute, I was charged $40. I got basically a French tip but was told since I did the rounded French tip it was more. Whatever, payed. Within 5 HOURS, not one but TWO nails break after spending a hour in the salon on my day off. Next day, I go back get them fixed, wasn't charged of course and I see a sign in there that says FILL, WITH GEL, and French tip, $30. So why was I charged $40? When I asked she said oh no it's $35 and because you have long nails it's $40. When I said but, it says right there $30 she said where? And looked, and saw I was correct. Began to say it's old and isn't updated ok, fine whatever. THEN 4 days after getting those 2 nails fixed ANOTHER one breaks! When it broke I was at work, and didn't have another day off until 4 days later. So I've been walking around for the last 6 days with a missing nail! (Not cute) however I go in today to get it fixed and she has no time and asks me to come back later so I finished my errands couple hours later, call and ask if she has time now and she says not for another 2 1/2 hours. Really? To fix ONE NAIL? I think that's ridiculous. Customer service is not there at all. I absolutely love my nail guy and won't be going anywhere else while he's on vacation. PS, my review would be one star but I'll add a extra one just because the front desk lady. Other than that, I would suggest another place, lots near by! read more

The best priced gel manicures I have found. They sometimes get busy and one person will work on two people so it take a little longer than other places. Once one of the ladies was in a rush and cut my cuticles and skin back so much they bled and hurt for 2 days but all the other times I have gone they have done some of the best work I have seen. The gel lasted for almost 3 weeks for me. So for the price it can't be beat. It is just a little hit and miss depending on who you get and how rushed they are read more

Came in on Thursday afternoon, they weren't busy, and were able to get me in. When I say that was the fastest gel service I've ever had believe me. In 15 minutes she was doing the hand massage. She didn't take any time to cut my cuticles properly, the gel paint was on my skin, and did not cure (dry) properly causing lifting almost immediately. When I asked for them to please clean it up before I paid, someone did "try" as she was highly annoyed that it was clearly not done properly the first time. Five days later, my gel has lifted and peeled horribly. I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed in this salon. I felt because a regular came in as she had started on me, from the get go she was rushing to finish. Once she was done, (15 minutes) they had me move to another station so I could finish my pedicure and so she could start on the other client. I will say the lady that did my pedicure was amazing. But one amazing nail tech shouldn't carry a whole salon. I won't be coming back and I feel like I spent way too much for the service I received. read more

This is my new regular nail salon! I've had my acrylic overlay done here about 4 times now. My nails are always beautiful and they've never hurt me or cut me, they've never made me wait when I've had an appointment. I used to go to Ocean Nails but they would make me wait sometimes a half an hour even though I had an appointment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. The minute I sat down she started gluing the nails on without cleaning around my actual nail. The work station she had was disgusting. Most of the tools had grime on them. When I asked her for almond she gave me god knows what shape. The actually painting of the nails looked like a five year old did it and she didn't even bother to clean it up. This is my Nail Salon of choice in the Santa Clarita Valley. Why? Because it's clean, they take their time, and everyone is very nice. It's not the cheapest place to go but I feel like I get my money's worth. They wrap your hands and feet in hot towels and do a nice job massaging as well. I don't get out for a mani/pedi every week or even every 2 weeks, so when I go I really expect to be pampered. They do a great job at that. Also their polish usually lasts about 2 weeks! And they have a nice OPI selection. :-) When you are finished getting your nails done go next door to Cosmetic Concepts for an eyebrow wax or a massage. I went in for a full set of pink and white. The guy glued on the tips and clipped them down on one hand and asked if they were a good length. They were as short as my natural nails, but it was too late to do anything at that point. The white part of the tip went halfway up my nail bed and the acrylic was very thick and my nail was wider towards the tips. I wanted the nails filed between square and rounded, but center of my nails were shorter then the corners and some of the nails were filed at an angle. WORST NAILS I HAVE EVER HAD! Why even bother to get nails if they were the same length as my own nails and I had to go fix them myself when I got home. read more
