This was a dirty place. The owner was rude and grabbed my hand in a mean way, jerked me when I wasn't doing it right. I had her take off my nails and she a horrible job and charged me $30.00!!! She made me wait 30 min twice while she took another customer and kept my hands soaked in remover til they burned. Awful place. Gave me enough time to look around and see the filth. I have been coming to Travis and Linda for over 20 years. I live in Northridge but drive to get my nails done. Friends say I should go closer to home and not spend money on gas and time in car. But Travis does a fantastic job. I get people asking me all the time where do I get my nails done. Several people also do the drive. It is well worth it. I love the way my nails always come out. Also Mary does pedicures for me and she does a great job too. They started a new loyalty rewards program. So every time you come in you get points and will get a coupon to redeem. Where do I start, if I could give a ZERO I would. My daughter came in to this salon for a fill. She was told by the nail lady she needed a new set, she didn't need a new set her set was actually brand new, my daughter showed her a pic of what she wanted and what they actually did was a monstrosity. My daughter was on the verge of tears and on top of that and was being bullied by the lady. After seeing what she was getting from pictures my daughter sent me I could not believe she was going to charge her $65 dollars totally taking advantage of her for being nice and being so young. After I spoke to the nail lady on speaker and told her that the nails she requested to be ombré where definitely not and if and she could just tAke off and do one color gel she continued to tell me that she had another appointment and basically didn't have time. I told her we made an appointment as well and we are paying customers, that was not the right way to treat a client. She then said I will take off and you can go somewhere else and I said ok. In the process of taking off they cut my daughters nails really bad and never apologized. My daughter said sorry and thank u any way, she had to leave and not finish the take off because it was so painful. Instead of apologizing she continued to be rude to my daughter and told her next time bring ur mom you don't know what you want. Unbelievable!! If you can't do the nails you are shown from a picture just say so, don't just wing it do a horrible job and think ur going to charge for a Monstrosity of a job. HORRIBLE And TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !! The reason for the one star is- the fact that Linda ruined my eye brows. Went in for a full set and Mary and she did a amazing job. She was polite and took her time!! Linda however tried to get me in and out of the waxing room in less than 5 mins. I told her to thin out one side to match the other- point to where it needed to be thinned, and needless to say she over tweezed and made them un even and horrible!! Best part about it was when I had told her "does this look even to you" knowing damn well she messed up- she said "no it's not even but that's what I told her to do" I will never be coming back her for that reason. read more

Linda and Mary do a wonderful job. It's a small, friendly place that does a clean job. I have never had any infections, fungus, or anything nasty like that from here. They sanitize everything and make sure you're happy. It's not the type of place that has spa chairs or anything. Just a simple place that gets the job done. For $23 mani/pedi, it's the best place ever. I won't go anywhere else. It's worth a try!!!! They don't accept credit cards but take cash and checks. There is a BofA next to them. read more

I wanted a very local place to replace Melody Nail, which moved to Valencia. I have been to a couple of places, but went here because it is so close. I made an appointment, but the signage says "walk-ins welcome". If you want to be seen in the evening make an appt as they locked up as I was leaving at 6:15. "Travis" and "Linda" (Birth names...I don't think so. :) ) run this small nail salon. They live locally and raise their children here. Travis greeted me right away. The chairs were large office chairs, which I liked. Linda turned on the TV to the 5PM news, and asked me if that was OK (I was the only customer at the time). I did not see a pedi chair.
