Linda is absolutely awful. So rude to me and my friend when she did our toes, she drilled down so hard on our skin to the point that it still hurt days after. I don't usually speak up but when i'm paying 50 for a pedicure i made a comment about the length she never fixed it and my friend had the same problem. She proceeded to argue with me and even drilled harder on my skin when i said something. However Daniel is the absolute best he has never done a bad set. Absolutely amazing at designs he has never done anything wrong. Besides linda everyone is amazing i would never go back to her. Prices are amazing read more

This review is obviously from a personal point of view. I have been coming here for a little under a year and I have yet to experience anything negative. I will say this, I usually go mid day during the week so service is extremely fast! I have heard that if you go in the evening, expect to wait even with an appointment but tbh it's worth it, these people are talented and are very good at what they do. I always go to Lala for my pedicure. He is soooooo accurate and my toes always look PERFECT! Love the vibe and all the employees here. Highly recommend! read more

1 Star Very disappointing experience. I made an appointment ahead of time, expecting my scheduled time to be respected, but I ended up waiting 45 minutes with no apology, explanation, or acknowledgment of the delay. If appointments aren't going to be honored, there's really no reason to make one in advance. My time is valuable, and I expected better customer service. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to say that I will never be coming back. And on too of everything, the manicurist, smelled so strong like cigarettes. read more

I love the nail quality never break nails and the designs are great . Daniel does a very great job so I have continued to go despite being unhappy and used to go consistently. The last time I was in they had me wait an hour and they kept telling me just wait we're almost ready multiple times . And others walked out from the same thing and one lady before me was waiting an hour In a half complaining . Why should we have to wait every single time to go in when I have an appointment booked weeks in advance ? They also take walks ins before appointments which is why everyone has to wait . Why would you take a client and think you can do their nails In 15 minutes and make the person with an appointment WAIT an hour . Really sad because I loved their nails and pedicure but I don't have time to spend 2 hours on just a fill for nails with an appointment BOOKED . Hard to find good nail places nowadays they are just more money hungry but losing loyal clients . If I have to show up on time for my appointment then you should be taking me as a client at a reasonable time . I get some people can run behind but Every single time and taking walks ins before an appointment is unacceptable. read more

The vibes in here are so fun!! Lots of regulars and the nail artists are all uniquely talented. Daniel is the coolest. I have very very short nails from a bad biting habit and Daniel was the first nail artist I've been to who didn't judge me for it. I am grateful I found a salon I'm excited to return to. read more

I am absolutely saddened I have to write this review. I have never written a bad review. I have been coming here for years and I continue to come back for the people. The wait times are insane, they overbook like crazy but I've let that go over and over again but this time pushed the line. I sat for TWO hours getting a pedicure and it just kept pushing out to get my nails/fill done. When I booked my appointment I booked it at 4:30 with Nancy for a fill on my nails. I got there at 4:15 there were maybe two people in there and the people that usually do my nails were not working on anybody. Instead of starting the service I booked for...They moved me along to a pedicure. I asked for acrylic on my toenails to add length and they used that as the excuse to say that's why my pedicure took TWO hours. I have an important day tomorrow. And my nails aren't done. I had to pay extra time to my babysitter and get to go home without the one thing I looked forward to all day. Very unprofessional. Today was my last time coming here and I'm heartbroken over it but I can't do this anymore. I'm kind and quiet I let things slide all the time and that's probably why they ended up giving three other girls full sets while I sat there getting a two hour pedicure. All while I kept asking when my turn would come up, two hours after my appointment. read more

As someone new in town, I was looking for a good place to do my nails and after reading a Google review on them I decided to give it a try. From the moment I called to ask whether an appointment was needed, I felt welcomed. I was told walk-ins were accepted and invited to come now, which I did. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly. I asked about the pricing for a full set of acrylics on which the price was very reasonable, and I was promptly seated. Daniel took the time to look at my previous nail work, listened carefully to what I wanted, and offered a few options to achieve the best result. His confidence and professionalism immediately put me at ease--and I'm glad I trusted him. In just a little more than 30 minutes, my nails went from messy to absolutely perfect. In past visits to the area, I had tried other salons and never quite got the results I wanted. This place got it right. Daniel used a transparent hard gel instead of acrylic and finished them with a clean white polish, which is my usual style. They look fantastic. While the salon isn't fancy, it's genuine, efficient, and focused on quality. You can tell they have a loyal clientele--they know their customers by name, which speaks volumes about the consistency of their service. This is a great option for manicures and pedicures, and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended. read more

I have been a regular at this nail salon for many years. I noticed it had started to get a little run-down, and I stopped going after getting pregnant last year. My baby is 7 months old now and I haven't had a mani/pedi since before he was born, so I decided to treat myself to some much-needed self-care today. I was surprised and delighted when I arrived at Minaillium to find the entire place renovated from top to bottom! It looks clean, fresh, and absolutely gorgeous! The design elements they chose are rich, tasteful, and elegant. Everything is fresh and new, even the nail colors! The chairs are comfortable and all the massage chairs work properly, I truly felt pampered, like I was getting a spa experience. They have a myriad of choices for nail colors and can literally do any design you can dream up. The nail technicians at Minaillium are fast and more skilled than any other place I have tried. Plus, somehow the prices are still reasonable and they don't overcharge for every little thing. Sometimes they are short-staffed on weekends and you may have to wait, but it's always worth it. I will be a life-long customer here as long as I live in Newhall. read more

Made an appointment and they still made me wait a very long time over 40 minutes. They only told me to sit down when I stood put and was about to leave. They rushed to get some water running for a pedicure and it was cold the entire time. After sitting they had me wait another 20. The booklet and the place to put your things was sticky and dirty. It was my first time here and they finally started and then the pedicure person switched with the girl next to me because she wanted something more difficult than the guy could not do. And he didn't wash his hands... and when she used the drill on the girl next to me she didn't change anything after dipping it in my water and using it on her. They messed up the color but changed it right away because they read the bottle wrong. Anyways there are better places. I saw someone wait 2 hours though she didn't have an appointment they should have told her it was a long wait and not "a little wait" I heard her complaining on her cell phone to her friend /: I almost never leave reviews unless I feel like it's needed. In total it took 2 hours for a regular pedicure and one of the guys left a lot of polish on my skin sadly wasn't worth the wait . read more

The most unsanitary place I have ever been to. I do not know how state board has not closed them down. I started noticing that they do not switch out their instruments between clients. The same nail clippers and callus remover they used on the client before you, is the one being used on you next. The one who did my pedicure didn't even switch out her gloves! I was in complete shock. Once confronted she took offense and started saying something to her coworkers. Pay the extra money for a clean and sanitary location. read more

I'd hate to leave a bad review but this place was too unorganized. I made an appointment prior to going, got there and it was extremely packed in the waiting area. Don't waste your time at this salon. Making an appointment means nothing--they'll still leave you sitting for almost an hour with no communication. I called in if they were available during walk in at 1:00 pm, and they offered us 1:30. But as I walked in and I saw that they were already very busy and took on a walk in call when they could not handle. I waited in the building until 2:30 to finally receive service :(. I asked for a regular pedicure and gel on regular nails manicure. I'm happy with my regular pedicure, and I was at first happy with my gel on regular nails, but after a couple hours and taking a shower, my entire nail came off clean. Meaning they did not do a strong job building up the gel so it could have stayed. Both my services were definitely rushed . And I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt. For the 55$ for the gel manicure on my regular nails, I would have at LEAST hoped for it to stay on my nail. I genuinely just wish they actually allowed walk-ins for a reasonable amount of customers that they could handle, as they only had 4 workers. read more

Stop, Bo and Don't get Gel X here I'm guessing any positive comments about this place are for acrylic because their Gel X is not it! Gel X experience at Minaillium: 1) Burns as they apply it- this is not just my experience, I asked someone else who got a Gel X set here, and they said the same thing. Once they put your finger under the light whatever solution they are using starts to burn. 2) Are they using Gel X- Aside from the burning the coat was super thick! Is this lack of application knowledge by the tech? A 1/2 inch of Gel X build up between the fake nail and my real nail is something I have never seen before. 3) They start falling of within 7 days- and when they do, the wannabe Gel X junk they put on your nailbed stays!!!! I switched from acrylic to Gel X a while ago and have had them done at other salons and never did I have any of these happen. Run from that little gold bottle of liquid plastic they are trying to pass off as Gel X! Listen, Gel X is supposed to be a more natural feel and easy removal. I have been trying for a day to get the remaining junk of my nails without damaging them. I don't know what it is but it's stuck! Also, callus removal on pedi not great, rest of the pedi was. The staff working at this spot were nice, BUT if people are knowingly putting bad product on you are they really that nice??? read more

My sister and I went to get our nails done at Minaillium. We were so excited because they were the only business taking walk ins for two acrylic manicures. I got serviced first and it seemed like the guy doing my nails was in a rush. He laid on the acrylic thick and made my nails look way fatter and bumpy then what it should've looked like. I think by the expression on my face he could tell I wasn't pleased so he tried sanding it down. He didn't take his time to make sure my nails matched. I would like to point out that no one was waiting to get their nails done at the time so he was rushing for no reason. He laid the nail polish on thick too. My right hand looks completely different than my left hand. I tried to check the work constantly to see if I liked it but that made the guy rush even more and I couldn't really see what it looked liked until he was done. Once it was done I noticed my right hand looked worse than my left (especially my thumb). I was so annoyed and frustrated that at this point I didn't care to ask him to fix it because honestly I didn't trust it would turn out better than what I got. It was only $55 for a full set and design but honestly I would rather pay more for better quality. I did really appreciate them taking us as walk Ins but wish the quality was better. read more
