In past visits to the area, I had tried other salons and never quite got the results I wanted. This place got it right. The chairs are comfortable and all the massage chairs work properly, I truly felt pampered, like I was getting a spa experience. They have a myriad of choices for nail colors and can literally do any design you can dream up. The nail technicians at Minaillium are fast and more skilled than any other place I have tried. Plus, somehow the prices are still reasonable and they don't overcharge for every little thing. Sometimes they are short-staffed on weekends and you may have to wait, but it's always worth it. The most unsanitary place I have ever been to. I do not know how state board has not closed them down. I started noticing that they do not switch out their instruments between clients. The same nail clippers and callus remover they used on the client before you, is the one being used on you next. The one who did my pedicure didn't even switch out her gloves! I was in complete shock. Once confronted she took offense and started saying something to her coworkers. Pay the extra money for a clean and sanitary location. read more

I called in if they were available during walk in at 1:00 pm, and they offered us 1:30. But as I walked in and I saw that they were already very busy and took on a walk in call when they could not handle. I waited in the building until 2:30 to finally receive service :(. I asked for a regular pedicure and gel on regular nails manicure. I'm happy with my regular pedicure, and I was at first happy with my gel on regular nails, but after a couple hours and taking a shower, my entire nail came off clean. Meaning they did not do a strong job building up the gel so it could have stayed. Both my services were definitely rushed . And I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt. For the 55$ for the gel manicure on my regular nails, I would have at LEAST hoped for it to stay on my nail. I genuinely just wish they actually allowed walk-ins for a reasonable amount of customers that they could handle, as they only had 4 workers. read more

Stop, Bo and Don't get Gel X here I'm guessing any positive comments about this place are for acrylic because their Gel X is not it! Gel X experience at Minaillium: 1) Burns as they apply it- this is not just my experience, I asked someone else who got a Gel X set here, and they said the same thing. Once they put your finger under the light whatever solution they are using starts to burn. 2) Are they using Gel X- Aside from the burning the coat was super thick! Is this lack of application knowledge by the tech? A 1/2 inch of Gel X build up between the fake nail and my real nail is something I have never seen before. 3) They start falling of within 7 days- and when they do, the wannabe Gel X junk they put on your nailbed stays!!!! I switched from acrylic to Gel X a while ago and have had them done at other salons and never did I have any of these happen. Run from that little gold bottle of liquid plastic they are trying to pass off as Gel X! Listen, Gel X is supposed to be a more natural feel and easy removal. I have been trying for a day to get the remaining junk of my nails without damaging them. I don't know what it is but it's stuck! Also, callus removal on pedi not great, rest of the pedi was. The staff working at this spot were nice, BUT if people are knowingly putting bad product on you are they really that nice??? read more

My sister and I went to get our nails done at Minaillium. We were so excited because they were the only business taking walk ins for two acrylic manicures. I got serviced first and it seemed like the guy doing my nails was in a rush. He laid on the acrylic thick and made my nails look way fatter and bumpy then what it should've looked like. I think by the expression on my face he could tell I wasn't pleased so he tried sanding it down. He didn't take his time to make sure my nails matched. I would like to point out that no one was waiting to get their nails done at the time so he was rushing for no reason. He laid the nail polish on thick too. My right hand looks completely different than my left hand. I tried to check the work constantly to see if I liked it but that made the guy rush even more and I couldn't really see what it looked liked until he was done. Once it was done I noticed my right hand looked worse than my left (especially my thumb). I was so annoyed and frustrated that at this point I didn't care to ask him to fix it because honestly I didn't trust it would turn out better than what I got. It was only $55 for a full set and design but honestly I would rather pay more for better quality. I did really appreciate them taking us as walk Ins but wish the quality was better. read more

WORST NAIL SALON I'VE EVER BEEN TO. 1. Made me wait 20 minutes even though I had an appointment. 2. The most painful filing & removal of cuticles I've had in my 31 years of existence. Made one of my fingers bleed and the rest feel raw. 3. Didn't even get the shape right. 4. Left the under side of the nails so sharp I had to go home & file them myself. 5. My ring finger on my right hand hurts really badly. I kept pulling my hand away and she said it was normal for it to hurt (while getting gel x). I'm not sure about that as I've never had felt this level of pain at the nail salon. So upset with the entire experience. Save your money and time and go elsewhere. read more

As the name suggests this salon has been around since the millennium, 2000 and its age is starting to show. I came in as a walk in for a fill. I was grateful that l found them on such short notice. However, l immediately noticed the dreary decor and messy display of the reception area. Then the station was filthy: nasty bottles, coffee stains on the table, acrylic dust caked up everywhere . Even my manicurist was unkempt. He was covered in caked dust and his fingernails were dirty. What redeems this store is its pleasant atmosphere and friendly personelle. My manicurist was very kind and sweet but seemed overworked. The owner was very nice too. However the appearance needs serious attention. In fact if the board walked in they may be hit with quite a few infractions. I'd hate to see this happen so l hope they read this and look at their facility with new eyes An interior design update is my highest recommendation. I know that's expensive so just a deep general cleaning and decluttering would go along way in impressing new customers. The highlight is everyone seemed happy to be there and quite at home the low light they could have health code violations and forced to close down. Loved the work! I have been looking for a place to get my acrylics done bc due to COVID-19 my regular place has been closed. I got my nails done by Daniel and he did a great job! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he did them exactly as requested. He took his time and made sure to ask if my nails were meeting my expectations during my service. Due to COVID the salon is doing services outside, so other than it being hot, I had no complaints. I'll definitely keep coming back here. read more
