I will say this, I usually go mid day during the week so service is extremely fast! I have heard that if you go in the evening, expect to wait even with an appointment but tbh it's worth it, these people are talented and are very good at what they do. I am absolutely saddened I have to write this review. I have never written a bad review. I have been coming here for years and I continue to come back for the people. The wait times are insane, they overbook like crazy but I've let that go over and over again but this time pushed the line. I sat for TWO hours getting a pedicure and it just kept pushing out to get my nails/fill done. When I booked my appointment I booked it at 4:30 with Nancy for a fill on my nails. I got there at 4:15 there were maybe two people in there and the people that usually do my nails were not working on anybody. Instead of starting the service I booked for...They moved me along to a pedicure. I asked for acrylic on my toenails to add length and they used that as the excuse to say that's why my pedicure took TWO hours. I have an important day tomorrow. And my nails aren't done. I had to pay extra time to my babysitter and get to go home without the one thing I looked forward to all day. Very unprofessional. Today was my last time coming here and I'm heartbroken over it but I can't do this anymore. I'm kind and quiet I let things slide all the time and that's probably why they ended up giving three other girls full sets while I sat there getting a two hour pedicure. Made an appointment and they still made me wait a very long time over 40 minutes. They only told me to sit down when I stood put and was about to leave. They rushed to get some water running for a pedicure and it was cold the entire time. After sitting they had me wait another 20. The booklet and the place to put your things was sticky and dirty. It was my first time here and they finally started and then the pedicure person switched with the girl next to me because she wanted something more difficult than the guy could not do. And he didn't wash his hands... and when she used the drill on the girl next to me she didn't change anything after dipping it in my water and using it on her. They messed up the color but changed it right away because they read the bottle wrong. Anyways there are better places. I saw someone wait 2 hours though she didn't have an appointment they should have told her it was a long wait and not "a little wait" I heard her complaining on her cell phone to her friend /: I almost never leave reviews unless I feel like it's needed. I have been a regular at this nail salon for many years. I noticed it had started to get a little run-down, and I stopped going after getting pregnant last year. My baby is 7 months old now and I haven't had a mani/pedi since before he was born, so I decided to treat myself to some much-needed self-care today. I was surprised and delighted when I arrived at Minaillium to find the entire place renovated from top to bottom! It looks clean, fresh, and absolutely gorgeous! The design elements they chose are rich, tasteful, and elegant. Everything is fresh and new, even the nail colors! The chairs are comfortable and all the massage chairs work properly, I truly felt pampered, like I was getting a spa experience. They have a myriad of choices for nail colors and can literally do any design you can dream up. The nail technicians at Minaillium are fast and more skilled than any other place I have tried. Plus, somehow the prices are still reasonable and they don't overcharge for every little thing. Sometimes they are short-staffed on weekends and you may have to wait, but it's always worth it. I'll start off by saying I was extremely spectacle about trying a new place and even after seeing many negative reviews.. im so glad I gave this nails shop the benefit of doubt I LOVED MY EXPERIENCE ! Obviously it's not Beverly Hills it's not overly luxuriated which is perfectly fine because you should know better common sense but it's a very great shop in a safe neighborhood and cute clean shoppping center ...the shop was clean cute & comfortable ! The most unsanitary place I have ever been to. I do not know how state board has not closed them down. I started noticing that they do not switch out their instruments between clients. The same nail clippers and callus remover they used on the client before you, is the one being used on you next. The one who did my pedicure didn't even switch out her gloves! I called in if they were available during walk in at 1:00 pm, and they offered us 1:30. But as I walked in and I saw that they were already very busy and took on a walk in call when they could not handle. I waited in the building until 2:30 to finally receive service :(. I asked for a regular pedicure and gel on regular nails manicure. I'm happy with my regular pedicure, and I was at first happy with my gel on regular nails, but after a couple hours and taking a shower, my entire nail came off clean. Meaning they did not do a strong job building up the gel so it could have stayed. Both my services were definitely rushed . And I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt. For the 55$ for the gel manicure on my regular nails, I would have at LEAST hoped for it to stay on my nail. I genuinely just wish they actually allowed walk-ins for a reasonable amount of customers that they could handle, as they only had 4 workers. read more

Stop, Bo and Don't get Gel X here I'm guessing any positive comments about this place are for acrylic because their Gel X is not it! Gel X experience at Minaillium: 1) Burns as they apply it- this is not just my experience, I asked someone else who got a Gel X set here, and they said the same thing. Once they put your finger under the light whatever solution they are using starts to burn. 2) Are they using Gel X- Aside from the burning the coat was super thick! Is this lack of application knowledge by the tech? A 1/2 inch of Gel X build up between the fake nail and my real nail is something I have never seen before. 3) They start falling of within 7 days- and when they do, the wannabe Gel X junk they put on your nailbed stays!!!! I switched from acrylic to Gel X a while ago and have had them done at other salons and never did I have any of these happen. Run from that little gold bottle of liquid plastic they are trying to pass off as Gel X! Listen, Gel X is supposed to be a more natural feel and easy removal. I have been trying for a day to get the remaining junk of my nails without damaging them. I don't know what it is but it's stuck! Also, callus removal on pedi not great, rest of the pedi was. The staff working at this spot were nice, BUT if people are knowingly putting bad product on you are they really that nice??? read more

My sister and I went to get our nails done at Minaillium. We were so excited because they were the only business taking walk ins for two acrylic manicures. I got serviced first and it seemed like the guy doing my nails was in a rush. He laid on the acrylic thick and made my nails look way fatter and bumpy then what it should've looked like. I think by the expression on my face he could tell I wasn't pleased so he tried sanding it down. He didn't take his time to make sure my nails matched. I would like to point out that no one was waiting to get their nails done at the time so he was rushing for no reason. He laid the nail polish on thick too. My right hand looks completely different than my left hand. I tried to check the work constantly to see if I liked it but that made the guy rush even more and I couldn't really see what it looked liked until he was done. Once it was done I noticed my right hand looked worse than my left (especially my thumb). I was so annoyed and frustrated that at this point I didn't care to ask him to fix it because honestly I didn't trust it would turn out better than what I got. It was only $55 for a full set and design but honestly I would rather pay more for better quality. I did really appreciate them taking us as walk Ins but wish the quality was better. read more

My ring finger on my right hand hurts really badly. I kept pulling my hand away and she said it was normal for it to hurt (while getting gel x).
