This facility has no tools to provide for removal of gel, no tips, one UV light that burns the hell out of your nails when they keep using it over and over again, AND it's run inside a yoga studio where you have to be quiet because there's a geriatric yoga studio having a meditation sound bath 15 feet from your chair. Don't waste your time. The salon does not respond nor do they care if you send a message beforehand. Manh other salons in Kihei which is not far that appreciate your business. The owner doesn't respond so that makes me think they staff only that are hours convenient to them. read more

I never made it to the shop. The owners condescending attitude on the phone was enough to turn me off. I knew I wanted a French manicure. I asked her 3 times what her hours of operation were. She did not answer the question. Then she proceeded to tell me she would send me a menu and to call back. I said, "Why would I need a menu when I already know what service I want?" In her opinion I was taking long to decide. Then I randomly picked a time and kindly asked how long it would take. She said to me, "How long did your last one take?" I said, "I have know idea, it was 10 years ago." She was one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. I felt like I was on trial. I do not recommend Mimi! I booked a massage and it seemed like I may have been one of her first clients. She wasn't sure what she was doing from the beginning to the end; very awkward experience. I had a gel manicure with Star. She did a beautiful job with my nails and was so pleasant to talk. The establishment is professional and clean. I called to book my appointment which went to voicemail. The greeting said I could text so I did and got an appointment for the same day. This spa is the best I have been to for Mani and Pedi. Sabrina does my nails and she always listens to my preferences and makes helpful and kind suggestions when I need some direction. She has a great eye for color combos and nail shaping. She knows how to take care and be gentle with your natural nails, so that they stay strong under the gel. She does not over-file or over Dremel. At "Mimi's Natural Nails" they have the perfect selection of beautiful gel colors and the brands they use have less chemicals. They make their own natural scrub with sugar and coffee. It smells amazing and feels heavenly. Mimi the owner is super nice and welcoming. They always offer me beverages such as delicious iced tea with fresh citrus or coffee served in glassware. The salon is meticulously clean as well. The massage chairs are very comfortable, no tailbone ache at all during longer treatments. The prices are comparable to other salons in Kihei but the service and quality is way better. They also have Massage services which I treated myself to a fantastic deep tissue. Fantastic service! I called last minute and Mimi was so accommodating. I have a little one so they were wonderful to work with and came to where we stayed during our stay in Maui. My husband had an amazing massage. Justin has healing hands and really feels what is needed intuitively. Star was also amazing, she completed a manicure and pedicure for my husband and I. happy with the outcome of my nails- but it took 6+ hours for 2 gel mani's and one gel pedi...there is a lot more to the story I won't get into- but certainly wasn't worth the entire day wasted + cost and we didn't even get a scrub or massage on hands/arms for the mani's. she came to our property so it wasn't like a real spa pedi either! for the cost and waste of a day I could've driven elsewhere or done without. read more
