A friend picked up some whipping cream for me. She did not retain the receipt but when I poured it, it came out in lumps! Store refused to exchange it 5.99 for old product btw it was almost expired too! To top it off she was rude to me about the situation as well. I stopped using the store as customer service is all any store has or I shop elsewhere ! I went without whipping cream before paying twice at this store. It's 1.99 at Trader Joe's too! Organic selections is wonderful which is hard to find but the meat selection sucks... and as a meat and veggies family that's difficult

Just another decent business screwed up by obnoxious self important schmucks I had not shopped there in a while because their prices are always higher which is to be expected, but I went in to look around, found a few things then realized I left my wallet in my vehicle so I asked the checker if it was ok to take the mobility cart outside, he said sure so I rolled it down the sidewalk to the end of the building and then hobbled out to my vehicle to get my wallet. Hobbled back to the cart and rolled back in. As I rolled in the door this overly aggressive woman walks up and berated me for taking the cart outside and continued even after I told her I had permission. Went on to insinuate that one had been stolen and another was ruined by the rain I am not sure which she thinks I was doing but one octive more in her voice she would have been eating more than her words. It is bad enough disrespecting a customer but a disabled one should be grounds for immediate termination. Unless she was an owner at which point a public flogging would be in order. read more

The staff is helpful, very efficient and professional. The store is clean and organized.

NG carries some things that other stores don't so I shop there once a week or so. At least I used to. Their customer service is horrible. Today the checker was chatting with a friend and not everything I paid for wound up in my bag! I was lost in the supplement department and saw an employee heading my way. I said "excuse me, could you please tell me where..." that's as far as I got. She said she had to punch in and hurried off. A few weeks ago I special ordered something. When I got home it was the wrong thing. The manager said basically, oh too bad. I've heard friends say they've stopped shopping there too. Sad because it could be such a great store! read more

This store has some things at better prices than other stores around but the customer service has really gotten bad. I recently had an item ring up at a different price than the shelf tag said so I questioned it. The cashier called a manager and they said, "we haven't had time to change the price, do you want it or not?" I've worked for a long time in the customer service industry and in my experience this is NOT how you handle an issue. Also, more times than not the cashiers response to my "thank you" after checking out is "mmm hmm." I guess that's Natural Grocers way. read more

Horrible employee interaction. I politely asked if there were any cardboard boxes available as I was moving. The female checkout clerk was trying to help me and then was accosted by her very rude, blonde male coworker who was incredibly unprofessional to her and to me! Great store and or stores! My only complaint is that a few stores lack employees or trained employees so often times people come a d go, mainly im referring to the Tigard store........ wonderful array of supplements, organic everything. Certain people are more than helpful great health coaches... even have game meat! If you're a vegetarian or vegan it has all that too. read more

I should know better, but grabbed what was labeled as a cucumber. It was actually a zuke. Checkout is painfully slow if there are more than 3 people in the store. We have many better options in Corvallis, such as the co-op, like a previous poster mentioned. read more

The manager was rude and dismissive. Cashiers are poorly trained and appear to be unhappy with their jobs. Customer service seems to be secondary to management. Not a good experience and I won't be back. read more

The customer service associate treated me like I was a criminal when I asked if they would honor a price on a mislabel. The pricing was a mistake, none the less they would not honor it and I was treated like street trash. Manager was nice, but the customer service associate was dreadful. Small, somewhat limited selection of items for such a large store it doesn't take advantage of it's space well and everything it does do well is being done somewhere else cheaper. read more

This store carries a lot of specialized items that can be hard to find. It is a small store, but they have a surprisingly good selection given the size. Their bulk items could be organized more efficiently, but they do have a variety of staples including nuts, grains, herbs, spices and flours. There is also a large vitamin and personal care section as well. The employees are friendly, and they have stacks of cardboard boxes you can haul your purchases out in , if you forget your shopping bags. read more

They are very paleo friendly and we buy desserts that we normally can't get in other stores for my wife. I stop into NG all the time for the value of every one of their products, I am one very happy GF vegan! I normally don't write reviews. The last time I was in, my cashier was Meagen. She was a delight; efficient and even boxed up my goodies! Honestly though, she looked so HEALTHY, it is inspiring! More affordable for organic foods than most stores!! I honestly only shop here for groceries. This store has lots of variety. The organic produce is a bit spendy but worth the high quality. Lots of gluten free/dairy free/ vegan/paleo options. Pretty much everything in the store is delicious. Also certified organic and/or non-gmo verified which is nice. In other stores I have to hunt for anything organic and the options are really limited. I have never had a bad experience shopping here. I've been a loyal customer for 3 years, and I drive out of town to shop here..it's that good!! The cashiers are abnormally nice and happy. I imagine it's a great place to work, and it translates to all of the customers. It's a postive environment. The weekends are obviously the busiest times, and so is like noon-1 because of lunch. Pretty relaxing environment. I can just do my shopping and nobody really bothers me except to check if I need help. Also from time to time some really hot guys come in which is nice. read more
