I noticed immediately and replied to indicate the door photographed was not correct and the driver apologized and said that is where the map took them. I confirmed the address again and even provided a pin via maps to the correct location for a re-delivery. They claimed they cannot locate my address on Google or Maps and that they were being sent back to the location of delivery at each attempt (which was an incorrect location). I receive deliveries all the time and never have I had a misdelivery or this many complications. It got to the point that I even offered to meet them next door at the parking lot of a public hotel to pick the groceries up from the driver directly. They agreed to this, and provided the information of the car which they were driving. I requested they notify me when they arrive and provided the details of my vehicle. From that point forward, the driver never replied or returned any further messages to me. I did follow up again as well to ask if they had arrived (over 20 minutes after we had agreed to meet at the place that is literally next door to my address) and they never replied to this either. I have no issue with the employees enforcing policy, but I do have an issue with the policy itself. It was not long ago that I was in college. I can firmly state that college students who are making 3rd party purchases are NOT walking into the store with the person purchasing the alcohol. This store policy has no effect on stopping illegal straw purchases. Whether corporate policy or an insurance requirement, the owner of this location should be expected to firmly push against this useless policy.
