Awesome awesome store. They are always as friendly as they possibly can be. Even if they were having a bad day, you will never know. They will never show it to their customers and remain sweet as candy. I collect Zippo's and have bought many there. There was a Day Of The Dead set they had, and being 2 lighters they couldn't set it in the carousel. One of the women who works there (I forget her name as I suck at remembering names) told me that she was hoping I would be the one to buy it. She obviously couldn't deny selling it to someone else, but I was happy to pick it up. Also their stone carvings and statues are masterpiece's. But they are nothing compared to the staff. I hope they keep up running for years to come. I've even tried to volunteer there, but they have unfortunately turned me down. I'll definitely keep trying though. I highly recommend everyone visit this store. You won't be disappointed! If I was being forced to choose something to be bummed about it would be that their jewelry is silver. But that is strictly because I am allergic to silver. So it is no fault of their own. It's entirely on my personal biology. read more

Aardvarxs is wonderful place to shop. They have great jewlery, zippo lighters, incense burners, bandanas and posters in the back. Walking in you're greeted with a smile and a good aroma. The workers are kind and willing to answer any questions you have. Their jewlery does not turn green or irritate the skin. They also have great quality crystals. Aardvarks has been around for close to four decades. I have been a customer of the shop for over 30 years. Between the tie-dye banners, the wonderful posters, incense, candles, candle holders, jewelry, clothes, wonderful incense and incense burners. There are so many things that are fantastic about the shop I cannot express it. One of the main things I am so overwhelmed about in the 30 years I have been going. The staff has always been fantastic! They are informative, helpful and always extremely friendly. If there were more stores like this in Columbia. This town would be a nicer and more pleasant place to be around sometimes. If this place has been around for that long. Obviously, they are doing something right. Between the staff, the choice of products, the overall location. You could not ask for a better place/shop to go to find that unique gift for a friend, family or even yourself. I have loved and frequented and spent lots of money at this place for 40+ years. They are now clueless and overbearing and have a poor selection of most genres. It's a hangout for women to show off how "stoned" they are and how much weight they've gained. All of the "workers" yell back and forth as if deaf while blasting music that isn't appropriate to the theme of the store or merchandise. It's very sad and annoying. Aardvark has been around for many years. It is definitely a store where you can find unique gifts, jewelry, artwork, clothing and more for a special and one of a kind gifts. I no longer live there, but always visit when we return for visits and reunions.
