Over 10 years later.. this place is just as amazing. Incredible service and quality tan 10/10 TLDR; I was running late to my appointment and instead of turning me away, they offered me an alternative and provided top notch, white glove service. I had an appt for 5:30 and was running 10 min late due to traffic and taking a wrong turn. Called the spa while I was driving and they said they wouldn't have enough time to hand spray me, but offered the Versaspa Pro Booth or I could come back tomorrow. I've never heard of the booth before but Sharon, who turned out to be the owner, answered all my questions and scheduled me for the 5:45 slot for the booth. At 5:45, I was still struggling to find parking after looping around several times. I called them back and was considering to cancel my appointment as I didn't want to keep them waiting, but Sharon guided me over the phone and even came outside to help me find a spot in a nearby lot. After a chaotic day at work, this really meant a lot. When I arrived, Sharon helped me settle into the booth and also, guided me through the whole process while I was getting sprayed (the booths are meant to be self serviced/ no team member required). She was friendly, helpful and did not for any second, make me feel like I was an inconvenience to the establishment. This made me feel so welcomed and valued as a customer. The young lady at the front desk was also very sweet as I left. The tan itself? Always impeccable - bronzy, glowy, consistent and lasts long. What more could we ask for. Highly recommend NB. She's like yeah don't worry our products will give you a natural tan that's why we use them !!!! Lies !!!! I have a bach party coming up and now I am gonna look orange!! I've been coming to this business for years, from when they were still at their old location, and today, they've lost my business. Downtown Burlingame is extremely busy and notoriously difficult to find parking. I showed up today 4 minutes past my appmt time due to no parking and they turned me away. Last time I was here they were late to start my appmt but I didn't complain. The woman who checked me in was extremely rude and didn't have any sympathy for me leaving work early to make my appmt. They resent me there "rules" image which no where does it state you will be turned away if late by even a minute. It states that "Your appointment SHOULD start at your confirmed time" but doesn't say if it doesn't you will be turned away. I highly recommend you do not bring your business here as they don't care about their loyal customers at all. So disappointing and I will be ensuring my friends and family bring their business elsewhere. read more

The hand sprayed tanning person has been at Natural Bronzing for at least 5 years. It takes Exceptional tanning experience and skill to apply a nice even tan with no uneven drips down my leg. Overall I DONT recommend this place. However they were very accommodating for my appointment time & parking issues. I received a hand spray tan ($68 before tip, so the most expensive & top of the line option) which I was very happy with the results at first. No streaking. No blotches. Great color the first 2-3 days. However on day 3 it turned WAYY too orange for my liking. I've had hundreds of spray tans in my lifetime & they usually don't change color that long after application. But it stayed at least looking an EVEN color of orange for several more days, so there's that. Now the REAL issue..I also got my lashes done, a partial set. It was around a 30 minute fill, of which she only actually applied lashes for 22 minutes. That wasn't even the problem tho..3 days after leaving here, both of my eyes started to get really red & itchy on the outsides, mainly on the top lids. The next several days it got SO excruciating & SO swollen that I couldn't see & had to go into an ER after having another tech remove them. ALL Of my natural lashes are DEAD. This salon uses SUCH a cheap glue, I can't even imagine. I've been having lashes applied at home in Boulder Colo for the past 4 years...& I've never had this issue before. This is DEFINITELY a quality control isssue & the owner needs to step up & put some HIGH quality glue on her clients. This is so disappointing bc I really wanted to like this place bc they were so sweet and accommodating :( I've now spent $1200+ on medical visits & treatments to restore my eyesight & eye health. This is my go to place for a quick spray tan. If you need a quick tan fix, come here :) My review is specifically for their tanning services. Natural Bronzing is in an office building on the first floor that is conveniently located behind Nothing Bundt cakes. Their is ample street parking nearby. I would suggest making an appointment, because they are always booked. If you are pale like me, want to look a few inches smaller and do not have the time to go to tanning beds, this is the place to be, you are literally out within 10 minutes. Once you walk in, you check in and you are walked to the tanning room. They have a table in the hallway which has everything you need, undies, petals, etc. I have gotten a full body and leg tan and have been pleased with the results. Their was actually a time when I left and had a large streak on my leg, partly because I probably was not fully dry and my dress was hitting against my leg. Nevertheless, I called the next morning and they fixed it the next day. I would highly recommend Natural Bronzing, especially since they are easy on the pockets too :) read more

I had an appt. at 12pm and drove all the way from San Francisco and called at 12pm to tell them I was one exit away because of an accident on 101 from San Francisco. I arrived 15 min. late and they told me they could not take me and that they were completely booked for rest of the day. We're not accommodating in any way to offer booth tan or other tanning facility in the area. Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place sooner! I've been going to Natural Bronzing for at least 2 years. They are professional, consistent, and the spray tan product is the best! I went here 2 days prior to my bridal shower, wedding and several other events. The tan is sprayed on by a technician (not a machine). All of the techs are so talented and really take their time making sure you get the coverage/color you're looking for. They ensure your hands and feet are protected (avoid looking fake), offer cute stickers or supplies prior to the spray, and have such nicely decorated rooms. I want to emphasize that their product has you looking NATURAL! They also book/communicate via text which I love (though I'm sure you can call if that's preferred). Omg I love this place. I needed a spray tan badly and was able to make apt quickly, the same day. The place is so cute inside and the girl working was so sweet and helpful. She even cleaned my hands after! I love her. I normally go to the beach hut in San Mateo but the couple times I've called to make an apt someone rude has answered the phone. I will be coming back here any time I need a tan. This place is wonderful. Highly recommend. There booths are high tech and user friendly. It's the nicest booth I've seen. Great spray pressure. This review is long overdue. I've been going to natural bronzing for many years, specifically for lash extensions by Maggie. As someone who has gotten their lashes done in many places, including on vacation in Asia, I really appreciate Maggie's focus on detail and prioritizing the health of my lashes. Maggie has a gentle touch and I hardly feel her working her magic. There is never any pulling or discomfort. Her placement of lashes is precise, allowing for healthy natural shedding without any "tugging" that comes from lashes that are just "piled on". As a new mom, I love that she lets me rest, but always after we do our quick catch ups! I've been getting my lashes filled every 2-3 weeks for the past 10 years. For this reason, I find that I end up spending a lot of time with whomever does my lashes, and in turn we develop a intimate friendship. Which is why it is important for me to find a place I trust and feel comfortable with. I certainly feel this way about Maggie and about Natural Bronzing. Sharon, the owner, is an avid dog and baby lover, not to mention also an amazing person. It warms my heart that they both always ask about the baby and have even gotten little gifts for him. My friends often joke around with me and say that I'm porcelain bc I am so pale haha. Since I was going to Vegas for a weekend, I started looking up spray tanning salons just bc I wanted to look "sun kissed" in pool pics! I believe they're by appointment only(?) but making an appointment is pretty easy and you can even make one through text message! They reply pretty quickly and are rather flexible as well! *Keep in mind that the tan needs to set into your skin for the first 10 hours, so plan your appointment carefully! I forgot to take that into consideration, so my appointment was at 4PM, which resulted to me just showering the next morning. As this was my first spray tan, I was quite nervous as to practically "baring it all" to whoever was going to spray me...but Naila was really nice and didn't make me feel awkward at all. She took her time with the spray and stopped after every coat to make sure I was happy with it. It has been 12 days now since I first got my spray tan, and it's finally starting to fade off. I would say I'm pretty impressed and I definitely will be back! ***Tips: They offer you shower caps, pasties, disposable thongs and flip flops...so you don't have to worry about bringing anything. Just be sure to wear loose clothing and it would be best to not wear a bra, just so you won't get lines there post-spray. In the first 10 hours post-spray, your tan does get a bit darker I think due to oxidizing(?) but just keep that in mind when you're getting sprayed. To prolong the tan, be sure to definitely moisturize and put sun screen on. I've noticed that the skin needs to be moisturized in order for the tan to stay put, post-spray...otherwise the tan can rub off pretty easily or crackle on dry skin! Also, do not take long hot showers as it can fade faster that way as well. read more

What a complete transformation! I gave them 5 stars when they were in their old hole-in-the-wall location simply because of their affordable prices ($35 full body) and even, long-lasting tans (10-12 days). But NOW...wow! The place looks like a spa now. And it's HUGE! There's a spacious waiting area, a coloring station for the kids, a lounge area with snacks and drinks, and a "powder room" with multiple stations where you can do your makeup (in the event you want to get ready to go out immediately afterward). But the best part is, they have not increased their prices. And their staff is just as sweet and awesome as ever. I can't rave enough about them. I hope they keep their prices the same because I drive from SF just to come here. read more

I hate to write a bad review because the women here are so friendly but after two spray tans, I will not be coming back to Natural Bronzing. My first spray tan went well. I loved that NB had disposable thongs, pasties, and foot coverings and that the room was very clean and sanitary. It was my first spray tan and I felt very comfortable even despite being basically naked! And I loved my tan. It was even, a great color, and I felt really confident. I got so many compliments from friends when I told them it was a spray tan. However, it wore off within three days despite moisturizing every day, not using Dove soap, not showering for 12 hours after, and only going in the ocean once. Whatever, maybe I used something that wore it off faster than normal. My second tan did not go as well. Right when my tan started I realized I hadn't taken off a bracelet or two rings, but when I mentioned it, the woman said it was fine and that I didn't need to take them off. The spray tan continued on. At the end, the color looked great but overall I felt incredibly rushed. As I was changing, I realized that my feet were never sprayed (I should've said something but I had already changed). When I got home, I realized that my stomach was not as tan as the rest of my body, I had a bracelet tan line, and the color was splotchy in places (my upper arms were lighter than from the elbow down!). Also, despite lots of moisturizing, not showering for 11 hours, etc. the tan again only lasted three days with most of it fading after one day. I really do find the women who work here so pleasant and sweet so I don't like writing this. But I'll be looking for another spray tan spot where I don't feel rushed and one where I can get a tan that actually lasts longer than three days. read more

I yelped "eyelash extensions" and this place caught my eye. 1. I work in SM so going into SF wasn't very appealing to drive to for lashes that cost $150+ 2. The price is right! I called to inquire and it definitely got me because starting for extensions is $150. 3. Caitlin is super sweet and knowledgeable of her craft! When I stepped out I realized I did not follow the instructions while in the booth resulting in some definite un-even results.
