So as I've mentioned in my original review I was nervous due to my past experience but this one was way better and very different. The process took 2 hours and it was painless as she put numbing cream on my eyebrows so I wouldn't feel anything. I was very impressed with the shape and fine strokes. I'm sorry not impressed, AMAZED! She did an amazing job. I feel and look better now that I have eyebrows lol and wow what a struggle these years have been without them. I couldn't be more appreciative with Maha throughout my entire journey. She gave me cream to keep them moist and instructions on how to keep them as dark as possible. I recommend Maha for eyebrow microblading in San Diego! You will not be disappointed. Original: Maha is your one stop shop for eyebrow micro blading, eye lash lift, and hair! I originally contacted her for a hair cut/ hair style for a bday party I'm attending and she did an amazing job. Apparently she also does eyebrow micro blading. I've had a bad experience in the past, my fault so I'm skeptical but that was years ago. I went ahead and scheduled an appt for next weekend. She's having a special in April $199 3D microblading. She made me feel extremely comfortable even throughout the process. Did not feel any pain only slight stinging, but I literally fell asleep during the procedure. She made sure to explain the brow outline to me as I was very specific about my brows. She was not bothered that I questioned some lines and made me feel comfortable with what would be the outcome. If you are looking for natural eyebrows definitely consider booking with Maha. I am 3.5 weeks post procedure and absolutely in love. Can't wait for my follow up appointment to get the final look! I was using the address listed on the Groupon to find the location, but it was not complete. The business was located within another store front. I drove all over the strip mall trying to find this place. I eventually found another brow place in the same mall. When I went inside and sat down, but it wasn't Brown & Esthetics. I got back in my car and tried to call to let her know I was lost but I could only get a voice mail. On the voice mail it said they were in the same location as Med Spa. Due to all the running around I was 10 min late for my appointment. She was gone after only 10 min. I tried to call again from the lobby and once I got in my car. She finally called me back and I was told she only gives clients 10 min. I confirmed my appointment 3 times via text message and 1 time on email. It isn't my fault that the address wasn't listed correctly on the Groupon. I even texted her a copy of the address listed because she said there wasn't an error on Groupon. I wanted to try brow tinting for quite some time. I have very little eyebrows. With the Groupon this would have allowed me to get them done. I'm very disappointed with the whole process.

After speaking to several dermatologists, I got no where. Everyone wanted to pump me full of drugs and not attempt to solve my problem. Ve did what no other wanted to do. She looked at my skin and immediately set up a skincare regimen. For the first time in years, my skin isn't tight or covered in eczema outbreak, my skin is glowing and calm. I feel beautiful again. Ombre alone was $500, and microblading was an additional $50. Upon arrival for my appointment, Alina warmly greeted me and applied numbing cream on my brows and explained the process. She then proceeded to design my brows and work her magic. I previously had my brows done by Thi Thuy Hong "Ruby" Luu who did a really crappy job and ghosted me after I paid her and she did not do a touch up as promised. Don't waste your time or money on Ruby, go to Alina instead! They are both located inside Phoenix Salon Suites (next to Marshall's in Mira Mesa). When you walk in, go towards your left for Alina in Suite 108. She is available by appointment only and was very quick to respond. Anyway, back to Alina...She was very sweet and friendly. We chatted while she worked on my brows, and honestly it felt like we've been friends. After the procedure she thoroughly explained the after care and provided me the cream, and followed up with a text with the written instructions. I had a very positive experience! Alina is very skilled at what she does and is a sweetheart! I highly recommend Alina to anyone who's looking to get their brows done. She did a great job fixing Ruby's previous work so I'm a very happy and satisfied customer! The brows take about 2 weeks to fully heal and lighten in color. It's super dark for now! I really like how the microblading gave a resemblance of real hair strokes. It's definitely worth the extra $50! Does the procedure hurt? YES! Even with the numbing cream, you can still feel a certain degree of pain. The level of pain really depends on your tolerance. For me, Alina had to reapply the numbing cream towards the end. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the results!
