Horrible service from the time I got there I never even received the service I needed and ended up leaving without anything done crazy part is all I need was my glasses and came with the script in hand from the Eye doctor at their other location all I got was women at the front desk talking about their personal life and a pregnant lady named Maria who walked behind the desk for her package that came in and she was also looking at my file she said she was a surgical tech from another job that was hiring which is definitely a HIPPA violation to look at my stuff and tell the staff about my profile would not recommend this location EVER but seeing how most of these reviews are 1 star rating just like mine I'm sure nothing will continue to change and the owner is probably in with the staff so no action will ever be taken won't back read more

The optometrist, Thomas Bottoms was great! He was super nice and helpful. I am a "seasoned" eye doctor reviewer (since I was 2) and he was just fine. It's his staff that is HORRIBLE. This year I decided to use my eye insurance and try somewhere close by, and now I remember why I drive elsewhere every year. The lady with the black curly hair, large black frames, short frame and stoic expression was a nightmare. She is so rude, makes customers feel dumb asking questions, and overall, makes me and others uncomfortable. She's rude. I won't be back. read more

I was greeted by the receptionist who was just finishing cleaning the floor. She was cordial and invited me in. The office was spotless and so clean. I finished my paperwork and the billing explained since I did not have insurance. The fees were very reasonable. Several tests were done prior to seeing Dr. Kuhn and the technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Kuhn is awesome--- very thorough and explained all aspects of the test results and talked about my new prescription. I would recommend this office! read more

The service up front was terrible. The four women working up front offered little help with sizing and finding the right glasses for my kids. When they noticed that I was displeased with their service, they made comments to one another in Spanish about me. They went as far as telling me that the lenses were bullet proof and my kid would be "ok" if they were shot in the eye! The optometrist, Dr. Bottoms was very thorough and patient with my kids. My complaint is with the people that worked up front in sales and reception. I've been going to vision services most of my life and have never had such a bad experience like I did at this Nation Wide Vision in Green Valley, AZ. They have absolutely terrible customer service. They never get back to you after they tell you that they will. And most of the time when you try calling them, noone answers and you can't even leave a message because the recording says that the mailbox is full. (What does that tell you?) Be very skeptical of any glowing reviews as they are most likely phony. read more

This is the second time I got glasses there. Both times the coating is uneven cause it's bubbling up and peeling off. The scratch proof is a joke within 1 month they were scratched to hell. ONE OF THE BEST DECISION MY WIFE AND I MADE WAS VISITING THIS LOCATION AND AND BUYING OUR EYEGLASSES HERE. Their Optometrist was so professional, his assistance also. The receptionists are very helpful, especially Cynthia and the other 2 ladies. One of them helped me made a good decision what frame I should get that looks nice to me. They did not insist what I need or should get, they will make suggestions and the final decision is on the customer. The lady who helped me was so honest of telling me all the necessary things I really need so that I will not overspend. I think they just need to put more frame choices. But I got what I need though and very happy with their customer service! I will recommend this location and their other locations to my friends, coworkers, and families. read more

Nationwide in Green Vallley is the worst, for glasses. I was assured due to my special prescription and transition bifocals that if I did not like the glasses or had any issues I could return them within 30 days . After 2 weeks I was getting regular migraines the glasses hurt etc tried to return them was told no! No wonder the receptionist don't wear name tags. They said we can rework them but since they are special lenses you cannot return them. I reminded her she said I could return them her response well sorry you are unhappy ! Amazing Nerve! I wish I had seen reviews before I went!!!!! wasted $$$ I don't have and any way to stop paying due to used care credit for financing. RIP OFF! Shame on them. I did not understand the woman the first time so I asked if she would repeat the price again. The woman sounded upset and angry with an attitude. I have been having my vision appointments and getting my glasses at this Nationwide location for many years, and I have ALWAYS received the most excellent care and service. Lisa and her staff are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure a positive experience. I go in repeatedly during the year to have my glasses tightened and to get information about my insurance, etc. Never is the staff too busy to make sure my questions get answered and the service I need is taken care of. Check your insurance records. The staff claims what they are charging you is after insurance is applied. But they are not submitting and you are paying the full amount. The staff is also not professionally dressed and have some attitude. read more

I stopped in to check on my husband's insurance and, "yes, sure we take it!" Went back with him and they stalled around for awhile and then again said they took his insurance. They were mostly rude while we were there and their service was not very friendly. Guess what we got in the mail yesterday? A bill for close to $100 dollars! Beware! About a few days ago, I went into this business to get a pair of glasses adjusted as a walk-in. The eyeglasses I brought in were ones that I purchased thru a optical shop next to the main VA healthcare facility in Tucson. They said I would need them adjusted, as I get these sent to me in the mail directly from where the eyeglasses are made at. The VA optical place said I could go anywhere to get them adjusted not to just their optical store. I live closest to Nationwide Vision in Sahuarita and decided to go there to get my eyeglasses adjusted. I went into the store shortly after the business opened and I was in a pretty good mood. When I walked in, I was very off-set by no greeting from either lady working in there, and no smile either. Not only that but what really got to me, is both of them had this terrible look on their face like as though I wasn't welcome there. I just didn't have very good vibes about both women at all. I had to greet them first and not only that but I had to do all the talking on what I requested to be done. There were no other customers in the store, so I don't understand why they would act this way.? There wasn't an issue or problem with my eyeglasses coming from another optical shop. The lady that waited on me did adjust my glasses and then said come back in if I needed to and sort of smiled. I thanked her for her services and said "have a nice day" and then I left. I have been in this eyeglass store before and have been waited on this same woman. I think she's a bit strange and don't like the way she comes across in her talk and the way she looks at you. If people don't like working with the public or their job in general, then they should leave it. I think employers should evaluate their employees better on how they service their customers. This is not the only business that I've encountered this issue and it's mainly in Sahuarita and Green Valley. Is it the people working in these places or is there something in the air affecting these people like this? I just thought I would make this public to give others a fair warning. My son lost his glasses and went to this office needing eye wear ASAP. My son being a teenager was treated with respect, kindness and was seen immediately. The staff there was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Lisa manages an exceptional office I can't thank her and her staff enough for the service they gave my son. It all started when I made an appointment; I kept being placed on hold and then asked the same questions over and over again. Finally someone else made an appointment for us. When we arrived for our appointment we waited about 2 hours to be seen by the tech then were expected to wait some more for the eye doctor. We rescheduled for the following week and were told all we needed to do was see the eye doctor. When we came to that second appointment we were told the tech didn't save anything in the computer so would need the initial eye testing again; the person who told us this was not very nice! I then asked for the Manager's card so I could speak to them about these issues; they are now on vacation for two weeks but I will call them. I made another appointment at another location; let's hope they have it together. read more

Wow. I have been to dozens of different Vision Centers (Walmart, Pearle, Lens Crafters, Costco, Sams Club) and this was by far the WORST ever. I was excited about trying Nationwide since they seem to have such good deals on the glasses, but when you finally find something that looks good and add it all up, the deal ain't so hot. The optometrist was OK, but a bit of a Magoo that did not give me a level of confidence in him. The staff is a joke - a bunch of youngsters that would rather be chatting with their friends on their cell phone (common problem with our younger folk) or doing *anything else* but their job instead of helping you.
