Drove down to SA from Austin to try the bunker trap and see the museum. We have skeet and trap and sporting clays in Austin of course. Upon arrival on a public shooting saturday as told that the bunker trap has been dismantled and the museum is closed. Was told the volunteers for the museum only open it for events and go to San Antonio Gun Club for bunker trap. The sporting clay course was decent but nothing special and certainly not worth a 1.5 hour drive. Went to the San Antonio Gun Club for bunker and it was a delightful experience. The staff and facilities at SA gun club are excellent. Skip the NSC! What a joke read more

Been going here for almost 10 years and lately it's been terrible. The last two visits in recent weeks have indicated that management cares more about corporate and sponsored events and less about the individual members. Case in point, there was nothing published on their calendar however there was a "private event" scheduled and none of the sporting clay courses were available. Normally I would call but nobody answers the phone. Today, they confirmed via email that no events were scheduled. Upon arriving, they stated all courses were open....but they weren't. Only one course was open. This place has been increasingly disappointing if you're looking from the small group or individual shooter. Needless to say, my family will not be renewing our annual membership. read more

Been a member here for years... Some of the best people the world in shooters, staff, and support. Great and honest service throughout. It's safe. It's a beautiful property. It has a lot to offer different types of shotgunners. Lessons are available for every level of shooter. Level I, II, & III instructors from all over the country are certified here a few times a year. Ammo, shotgun rental, & cart rental are available at very fair rates. Anyone remotely interested in shotgun sports should visit during a National, or World Shoot hosted here throughout the year. The shops are full and the place is buzzing. The best equipment & accessories are available all in one place during these events. Also all the repairs, fitting & modifications one could dream of from various top-notch vendors. I recommend Sporting Clays or 5-stand for targets closer to what one might find in a field or hunting type setting. We're so fortunate to have this hidden gem in our midst. It's one of the best facilities in the world & it's right here in San Antonio! read more

Great place to shoot but please get your tower operators/scorers some umbrellas or some type of shade during competitions. They all look miserable being baked in the sun with absolutely no shade. Your revenue should be able to take care of your employees during the excruciating South Texas heat! read more

They have very nice facilities here and the staff is very nice. Reasonably priced too considering how nice it is. They also do lots of fundraising and help out the community as well. read more

Great staff. Great set up. Went down and shot 5 stand and sporting clays for an event and the staff was extremely accommodating.

Very nice world class facilities. Parking can be an issue and events may close some areas.

This facility is great. The employees, not so much. Angie, who works in the shop, is the rudest person I've had to deal with in a very long time. My dad had rented a golf cart weeks in advance for a shooting event today and she flat out refused to help me find the reservation or get the cart. Not only was she completely unhelpful, she was so rude I had to just walk out. The problem was only taken care of once Royce came in and simply used his eyeballs to find the reservation my dad had INDEED placed weeks before. I'm hoping you read this Angie, and hoping it has you reconsider the way you treat people in the future. Maybe you just aren't a morning person. Thanks for coming to the rescue Royce, I don't think she could have handled it without you. read more
