Then proceeds to argue about nonexistent signs for 15 minutes and called all 4 of us "idiots".. but he's the one who instigated it and kept it going. Came here on a day trip in March with my Dad who came to visit me in Austin from Dallas. On our adventure, we unexpectedly ended up at Nardis. Chris took plenty of time and good care showing us options of "specialty" products that we had no idea even existed. After over an hour of thorough explanations, my Dad made a decision to put an exquisite Diamondback 9mm on layaway. After 3 months of anticipation, excitement and planning our next Father son adventure we returned this past Saturday to finalize our purchase and take possession of the firearm. After quickly and seamlessly passing the background checks, Chris and Marcus invited us to stay and shoot with them and kindly waived the range fee. It was a good thing because there were a couple of things not right. One was with the optic and another was a faulty spring inside the firearm itself. Without hesitation, Chris brought in the Gunsmith (don't know his name but respectfully refer to him as wonder boy) who seems to be a mechanical genius and through a series of troubleshooting tactics solved our problem. Bottom line, no one was going to allow us to leave without everything being perfect. In today's day and age, service like this is non-existent. So much gratitude to Chris, Marcus, Wonder Boy and every single employee of Nardi's Original Gun Club off the I-10 East in San Antonio, Texas. God Bless you all. I will make the 2 hour drive every time. You have a new customer for life.

Showed us how to load and we was ready to go! They suggested we bought more ammo but I declined it AND I was wrong - I came back for more lol. Im not an expert and I wouldn't even claim novice. I'm not a stranger to guns but I've never had to shoot one either (the BB gun I had as a kid is the exception). The service staff was great and informing me what gun to practice with. They really took their time explaining. I settled on a 45. The birthday girl was already inside getting a private lesson but she'd been the day before and bought a 22. Another sorority sister gave me a lot of tips so by the time the attendant came to walk me through, I was ready. I started with the 22 and that felt good. I did quite a few practice rounds with that one. I decided to try a small purple gun my sis brought with her. I had to! It was purple! The power from that gun was mightier than its size. I was blown away! So yeah, I went back to the 22 lol. I really enjoyed the day and was glad to celebrate with her but now I have a new interest. I priced the guns, I have no way of knowing whether I'm getting a good deal or not. I decided to have a talk with my cousin to see what he thinks and purchase later. If you've never been, just know the fees add up. You need ear protection & eye protection and they have it available for purchase. If you wear glasses, they count as eye protection. It's crazy loud, I used the ear plugs and the over the ear muffs. And of course there are fees to rent a gun (if you don't bring your own) and for use of the range.

The kids had a great time playing but the problem was the lack of transparency for pricing and expectations. At no time did they tell us that they expected the provided paint to last 1 game. And 4 games were scheduled over the 2 hours. Then after the 1st game, they ask you to pay $80 for another 2,000 balls. And then another $80 for 2,000 more. So, they're base price is more like $460 for 7 kids. If you're planning on bringing more, plan on spending some more money. We won't be having another party here. Also, parking is very limited. The staff isn't really helpful. The ref we had was out of it.
