We visited here about a year ago to investigate a planned bed & mattress purchase. Even though we…read morearrived before the posted store hours, the door was open and we were met shortly by Barb, the Operations Manager. She showed us around the store and showed us what we wanted to see. Recently, we returned to purchase and the experience was similar - arriving at store opening we were again quickly met by Barb. Based on our requirements, she recommended a specific mattress and that is what we ordered. We also purchased 2 L&P adjustable beds to put the mattresses on. The mattresses were manufactured, delivered and the beds set up in our bedroom by the date specified. Shortly after, I found some minor deficiencies with the L&P adjustable beds and emailed Barb. She promised to send a tech with some parts to look at the beds and correct the problem. The guys came as promised, had the small parts I wanted and we fixed the problem. I prefer dealing with family businesses and CJ Mulholland did not disappoint. We are now sleeping more comfortably than we ever have and I would highly recommend this business.

Dealing with Directbed has likely been the worst customer experience I have ever had…read more Please, please, please if you have ever had issues with this business, report it to the Better Business Bureau, your credit card company and the Consumer Protection Agency. I have requested a refund three times . This business has sent a bed that didn't arrive when they promised. The original order was canceled because they didn't have the bed, even after I had phoned to confirm arrival date and stock beforehand. They never updated the order and never supplied me with a new bill of sale for a second bed offer. Which was promised before shipping. The delivery company reached out to accept a delivery a full 18 days after it was promised. Without an updated sales receipt, I had no clue what had even been sent. I would not accept delivery, as I had asked for a refund 15 days before delivery was even attempted. This business continues to push this off as my fault. Their business policies do not follow the laws set out to protect consumers from unfair business practice. They made promises that were not kept, knowing that they would keep the money regardless of what happened. They take no ownership in something that is their fault.

Linen Chest offers great variety of home and kitchen accessories from coffee machines, dinnerware,…read morecutlery, baking equipment to bathroom mats, towels, curtains to beddings, sheets, pillows, and decorative items, etc. I have always loved their products and how colourful they are. I have been purchasing my home accessories from them for more than a couple of years now and it's sad to see they've closed their Toronto store, but I'm happy they have opened new ones. You can also order online and have your order delivered to your home or a store close by. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There's ample parking spaces available in the mall parking.

I…read morewas looking online for oil and vinegar bottles that would take my kitchen to the next level. I came across Linen Chest as an option. I actually haven't heard of them before or at least, didn't really notice. I found out that they're Canadian, family-owned, and female-owned interestingly enough. The online options were plentiful but I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of what they had. The store is pretty new in Mapleview and huge! It's split half half between kitchen and bedding. They have all manner of kitchenware and utensils, including small appliances. There's a lot of selection of everything and they usually have them out of the box so you can pick things up and get a feel for them. There were a lot of drink machines to choose from like espresso makers and carbonated water machines, including branded ones like Nespresso and SodaStream. They have a lot of collections and sets that you can coordinate between. There was ultimately a little too much selection as I needed a night to sleep on things lol.

Terrible Products, Even Worse Customer Service…read more I bought two sofa sets from Ashley Furniture, and both were defective. One reclining sofa never worked from day one, and the other sofa broke the very first time we used it. Even though the furniture was brand new, Ashley refused to replace it and insisted on repairs instead. Technicians came, but the problems were not fixed. I also paid extra for an extended warranty, which turned out to be completely useless. Slow responses, long delays, no solutions, and now they are still dragging out their "final decision." Low-quality furniture, terrible service, and zero accountability. I do NOT recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. I wish I can put less than one star or negative stars
