The owner made me feel super relaxed and showed us a safety video that clearly described all the necessary info. He was super nice and made us both feel comfortable and he chatted with us while we waited for the helicopter to land. Once the helicopter landed, they even took photos for us on my phone which was really nice because I never would have asked. The whole flight was incredible! The pilot was wonderful too; he talked to us the whole time, pointed out where landmarks were, made jokes, and all the while flew the helicopter so smoothly I wasn't even nervous. One word WOW!!! I surprised my bf for his birthday and he was shocked and happy. It was such a pleasant and fun ride. Something out the ordinary and it was great for the price. We did a 10-12min ride for about $145 combined but they had much longer rides to choose from but 12 min was long enough for two riders that are Afraid of heights. The weather was nice and we also took pics of the private jets that were in the warehouse as well. Also, the gentleman that was instructing us took plenty of pics and sent me a link. So professionally done, nice and kind ppl let's not forget about the pilot was very entertaining and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Great place and great overall experience. read more

I would give National Helicopter Solutions a 4.9 (can't give a 5 b/c Ashley is a Dallas Cowboys Fan‍). Everything about this experience was AWESOME. We surprised my mom on her 60th birthday with a private sunset tour. Ashley and Kenny were very welcoming, easy to talk too. Kenny is very good with kids. My parents 25th anniversary, Father's Day and Dad's birthday all fell on the exact same day this year so I decided I needed to do something big. This helicopter tour was PERFECT. The owner was in contact with me through out the day keeping me updated, and directed me to the exact hanger location. He explained the safety measure, the helicopter he would be flying and what parts of town they would be looking at before going up. The best part is you can pick from a variety of packages that vary by viewing spots and length of time which is great when you're trying be money conscious. Most other places had a minimum 1hr time that drives cost up. I was able to do a half tour and get the best of both worlds. He even let my dad walk around and admire the jets. This was my first time riding in a helicopter and it was way easier than what I expected. It was nothing like riding in an airplane. Ashley greeted me and she was so sweet, knowledgeable and kind. She definitely eased my nerves and we had a great conversation. When it was time to get on the helicopter we were greeted by the pilot, Kenny, and he was the best! Absolutely loved my experience with NHS! Planned the fast 15-20 minute tour for my boyfriend's birthday surprise and it was the best way to celebrate. Booking this was easy and the instructions for the day of were pretty clear. Upon arriving near hobby airport, we were escorted into a small lobby while we waited for the ride. Then we were taken to the hangar where one of the employees took pre-ride pictures of us. The tour itself was pretty cool and you got to see a different perspective of houston. The guide pointed out all of the major landmarks and played top 40 music in between. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun surprise or birthday activity. read more

Was scheduled for a helicopter ride on Feb4. Helicopter ride got cancelled, so i rescheduled for the next day. It got cancelled again, so i rescheduled once more. THEN it got cancelled again, so i asked for a refund. The owner told me that i would receive it in 3-5 days. After 5 days, i called back and he said that he would handle it and that sometimes it takes longer. He did not ask for my name or confirmation number, so i don't know how he was planning on refunding me. I called today Feb19 after still NOT receiving a refund, and his response was "he must have missed it". I am giving him 3 more days and disputing with my bank! Very unprofessional and he seemed to be irritated that i wanted my money back for a service that was not rendered. read more

The ground crew helped us load and unload safely - there was a staff person by each door to help kids out and make sure they moved the right direction away from the helicopter.
