The staff are extremely professional and helpful, and there are a lot of great programs for young learners who want to explore the world of books. In terms of facilities, there's not much to say. There are only four computers, and the selection of books is not that broad. That said, they do offer a lot of services for the community, although I would recommend against utilizing the preparation services they offer during tax season, even if you're a cheapo. Overall, it's a worthy local library, even if nothing stands out in particular. I've spent many hours of enjoyment and research there.

There isn't much to gloat about but they serve their purpose well. Besides the endless amounts of books you could also utilize their computers, printers, and copiers. They also have music and movies too which is pretty cool if you're looking for a cheap (free) way to expand your music collection. One thing that is nice about this location compared to others is that this library is actually really quiet and is kept that way unlike other locations which tend to be more of a hangout. This location seems to be clean but is dated and needs a facelift which a problem with most NYPL locations. There isn't much more to add. I will continue to use this location and suggest you do too!

I initially called to have my kitchen sink cleared of a stoppage. They bring in a snake and proceed to snake from under the sink. It took them a while and ultimately, they were unable to get it cleared. Ok, sometimes at the end of the day we don't have on our thinking caps and we are not as quick witted as we could be. Why do people ask stupid questions like why do I need your Master Plumber's License? Only people on Staten Island would be stupid enough to get angry at a customer for asking such a thing. Nothing nefarious about that question when you want to confirm you are doing business with a LICENSED AND INSURED company. GTFOH. Making him look bad in front of the boss? CTFU. Boss should know smart people hire companies that their bona fides in order. Rates seemed fair. They took all the stuff they bought in back out and left the little mess they made (no problem) I'll leave it to clean up after I get the sink fixed.
