I let her know that, if she was a realtor, we were not interested in working with a realtor. She reassured me that, even though she's a realtor, she was genuinely looking to purchase our house as a buyer and was in no way trying to "win" our house to list it for commission. That turned out to be a complete lie. Olga wasted our time by leading us on and telling us how interested she was in the house. She saw the house twice with us and said she would send us an offer for a specific price that we had discussed together. Instead, she sent us an offer that was $45k under our asking price. To try to justify it, she sent listings of borderline-condemned houses nearby that were going for $140k less, most of which were being sold as-is to developers for complete tear-downs. The "comps" she sent us were not comparable to our house whatsoever. They were simply an excuse to send us a low-ball offer and then solicit her services. She even told us on the phone that if we used her, she would list our house for much higher than our asking price, proving she knew the true value of our home and had seemingly used the entire situation as a way to pressure and bully us into using her as our agent. I'm not sure who this is working on, but I would obviously never hire someone who treats potential clients this way. I will also be warning anyone I know who is looking to sell their home to stay far away from this entire group.

The fee goes to the management company for putting a copy of the lease into the management's file cabinet. There is nothing in the townhouse association's by-laws that permits this charge. This maverick fee is not for the benefit of the townhouse association. Instead this is a non-by-law supported fee. It is a type of shake down that solely benefits the management company. The management fee is therefore illegal since it did not have the approval of the Board of Directors when the fee was issued.

The Management Company responds immediately to any requests for service and we are always greeted with a smile by all of the staff who treat the tenants as they would their own family.
