We highly recommend Nathans Pool Fence! The price was very fair, and I was able to watch the initial installation process of drilling the holes. We decided to install the fence for added safety because of our grandchild, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We were impressed with how precise they were, especially when drilling the holes for the posts. Everything had to be measured and leveled carefully to make sure the posts fit perfectly and the fence was level. We chose the brown fence, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It looks great and really complements our pool area. We're very happy with the finished product and the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend Nathan's Pool Fence to anyone looking for a quality pool fence at a fair price! read more

Coming back to give an update. Our fence is over FOUR years old, and we've never had a single problem. No sagging, nothing. We haven't had to tighten anything. Good as the day we got it. Two friends got fences through Nathan at my recommendation, and we're all happy customers. Still highly recommend. Non-negotiable pool safety feature with little kids. read more

Looks like a review isn't even needed as they have plenty already. This fence was done about 6 months ago. Nathan's company was half the price of two other quotes I got in terms of dollars/linear foot. Him and his partner sat down with me outside discussing how we can contain the pool, pool equipment, and access to the stairs to my hill (preventing my kids and friends/cousins from those hazards). He did it all, while making it look nice. Even waited a while for my wife to get there to make sure it's what she wanted too. I highly recommend this place! read more

Hired Nathans Pool Fence after shopping around for some quotes and info. They were the most easy to communicate with which is always a huge plus. Jorge was the man that worked on our fence. He was patient in listening to our questions and mapping out exactly where we wanted the fence. He did a great job and our fence passed inspection without any questions. Nathan was also very responsive even after the job was finished and I had a few questions. Highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to get a fence!! Hassle free and good quality work. read more

I had a consultation with Nathan's Pool Fence and decided not to move forward. During the visit, I asked about licensing and insurance, which is extremely important to me for a pool safety installation. I didn't receive a clear answer at the time, and when I followed up afterward, I didn't hear back. That alone made me uncomfortable continuing. Another thing that gave me pause was that a discount was mentioned in connection with leaving a review. Personally, I prefer reviews to be completely independent, so that raised some concerns for me when trying to evaluate feedback. At the end of the day, when it comes to something as serious as pool safety, I need to feel fully confident in the company I'm hiring. Unfortunately, I didn't get that level of reassurance here, so I chose to go in a different direction. I'd recommend others ask detailed questions about licensing, insurance, and policies upfront so they can make an informed decision. This is a child safety product, it's not worth cutting corners over a lower price. **Update after owners response** Thank you for confirming that you are not licensed. That clarification is important, because in California, a contractor's license is not optional for this type of work, t's a basic consumer protection requirement for projects over $500. It ensures a contractor has verified experience, understands building and safety codes, and carries the appropriate protections for the homeowner. Pool fencing, in particular, is not just another home improvement project, it's a critical safety feature designed to prevent accidents. If you're cutting corners by not having your license I can only imagine what you do with these installations. Sad that we, the consumer are not knowledgeable enough to see what looks right and what doesn't. And I wouldn't trust any of your 200 reviews, offering incentives tied to reviews makes it difficult for consumers to evaluate feedback objectively. Reviews are supposed to reflect independent customer experiences, not be influenced by discounts or perks. At the end of the day, homeowners take on significant risk when hiring an unlicensed or uninsured contractor. If something goes wrong, whether it's property damage, injury, or faulty installation, the liability can fall back on the homeowner, and there may be little recourse. My review reflects those concerns so others can make informed decisions, especially when it comes to something as important as safety around a pool. So to all reading the reviews, beware that these reviews are based on receiving an incentive, which obviously is against Yelp's terms and agreements but, I'll let Yelp figure that one out. And if you decide to move forward, good luck! I truly wish you luck! Also, Ismael, try typing responses for yourself instead of having AI do it for you. It's too obvious. read more

Amazing customer service. Thank you so much Nathan and Junior. Nathan came out to measure the area for the gate and provided a qu on the spot. We shopped around and decided on Nathan bc of the high reviews and fair price. We were able to install within two days. Junior was the technician who helped us install our fence. He was very prompt and respectable and provided such great customer service. He measured out where the fence would go and made sure to communicate the entire process. He verified everything with us to see if we were happy with where the fence would be placed. He was extremely respectable and had great customer service. He was a one man show and he does his job well and with the utmost professionalism. I highly recommend this company and will be recommending them to everyone we know with a pool. Thank you Nathan and Junior again. Amazing work. Not expected but highly recommended to tip your technician and provide refreshments if you are able to! They work hard especially during the summer months in California heat! read more

Can't say enough about how happy I am with Nathan and his pool fence service. First of all they gave the best price when I was shopping for estimates. Then they did a great job installing the fence, keeping my children safe. And over a year later I called him because I was having a small issue and he came out personally and fixed it. No charge. When I first contacted Nathan's Pool Fence, they were very responsive and quick to send someone out for an estimate, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the communication after that was very inconsistent. I was texting with a representative who would reply, then disappear for a couple of days, and then randomly follow up without addressing my previous questions--usually just asking if I wanted to schedule the installation. It became frustrating because my questions about pricing were never clearly answered. When I mentioned I was ready to move forward and even willing to pay cash, the communication completely stopped. Overall, the lack of follow-through and professionalism was disappointing. Based on my experience, I would recommend considering other companies. read more

I had several estimates, but Nathan was the only one that showed up to the property. Everyone else gave an estimate from a google earth photo. Nathan was very exact with his layout and drawing. His price was very reasonable that I didn't even try to bargain. Junior did a great job installing the fence with 2 gates. He even cleaned up and power washed everything down and gave us a tutorial if we ever need to remove the fence. Great job. Very professional. read more

If you're looking for a reliable and responsive pool fence company, Nathan's Pool Fence is the one! Nathan was incredibly responsive and flexible. He answered my call immediately, and Junior came out to install the pool fence the very next day. Talk about service! Their prices are very fair--actually, they were even below quotes I received from other companies. Junior, who handled the installation, was awesome. He was polite, professional, and clearly very skilled. Here's the real proof of the fence's quality: during a major wind event in OC, part of our balcony wall fell and hit the pool fence. The fence cushioned the wall's fall and saved the glass from shattering! The durability of the fence and gate is outstanding. When I called Nathan to repair the gate, he came out the very next day to fix it. That kind of customer service and care is hard to find. I highly recommend Nathan's Pool Fence to anyone looking for top-notch service, fair prices, and a high-quality product. Thank you, Nathan and Junior! read more

I actually didn't even use this company, but I do want to point out the fast response and honest straightforward answers, including pricing. I just decided not to go with a fence around my pool. I had the strangest experience just now. I called and a person answered and said "This is Nathan" and when I asked for a quote to install a pool fence, the person hung up on me. I called back multiple times because I thought it was potentially an accident. However, each time, the person answered, said "This is Nathan" and then hung up. No call back. The pics look beautiful and I would've loved to get a quote; what an odd experience. read more

All I can say is wow. I had a brand new pool built and CA law required a specific rated safety fence to pass the la county inspection. I told them what i needed and they came out immediately to measure and provide an estimate. They were not pushy whatsoever. They came in under the quote of some other rip off companies which i will not name. 5 months after the quote my pool was ready for the fence to be installed and i called them back and they still honored the same quote to slight variation in changes. They had the certificate provided to prove it was rated to the specifics of LA counties requirement to pass inspection. The communication was great and the install only took 4-6 hrs from what i remembered. They cleaned up after themselves and left no mess behind. They took there time and also recommended filming the tutorial on how to operate the gate and fence features. I would definitely recommend their services and use them again. read more

If you are in the OC/LA, stop looking at other quotes / other companies. You have found the best pricing and quality from Nathan. This is a great family business. I highly recommend Nathan for pool fencing! We got several quotes, and Nathan's was the best. He was also the most knowledgeable. We recently bought a house with a pool and wanted to ensure safety for our children. I found Nathan on Yelp and requested a quote. He came to our house and explained everything thoroughly. I asked for an angled panel due to a ledge, and he understood perfectly and included it in the quote. Nathan's pricing is very competitive; we compared many quotes, and his was the best. His team came a few days later and installed the fence. We were very impressed! After the installation, Nathan took the time to show us how the fence worked and how to easily take it down and put it back up. He was very patient and explained everything clearly. Nathan's Fencing is a local, family-owned business, and their service and attention to detail truly show. I wouldn't hesitate to choose them over larger companies. read more

Ismael (the owner) responded to my inquiry and came out to give me an estimate and discuss the best way to design the layout for our pool fence. He was very nice and not pushy at all. I guess that's confidence in his product and workmanship showing through. It's a family run business with great employees. George came out to do the work once we decided to go with their company. I had gotten 3 estimates. The first two were about $1000 higher-for the same length of fencing and same type of mesh. George was great at explaining what he would do and how he would go about it. He chalk marked the boundary where the fence would go. After I approved it, he went to work. It took him about 4 hours (as expected) and looks wonderful! MUCH less of an eyesore than my family expected! It actually looks nice! I can still see my garden and pool through the mesh. AND the most important thing about this fence is our peace of mind! Our new granddaughter will be safer. My dogs are a little sad bc they love the pool but that is minor compared to keeping our children safe. Thank you Nathan's pool fence! I would recommend them to anyone who asks. read more

We've been throwing around the idea of a pool fence since moving into our house in January. However, we didn't get serious about it until our dogs fell in when they mistook the solar cover for solid ground. We called Nathan's Pool Fence on a Sunday after reading his amazing reviews, and surprisingly he texted back a few hours later to schedule a consultation the next day! When he arrived , he was punctual and professional. He took measurements, explained the process and gave us a few color options.
