I was shaking and crying on the day of, but they did an amazing job helping me calm down, and one of them in particular talked me through all the way until I was out. I have other health issues, and the surgeon was receptive and thorough in acknowledging them and made me feel comfortable and confident that there would be no complications. I was put under with no issues, and I only had swelling and bruising on one side from one of the teeth, the rest healed well with hardly any swelling and no further bruising at all. When the numbing first wore off, I started feeling a lot of pain and they filled pain meds for me with no question, but the pain died down shortly after and I didn't end up needing more than tylenol and advil. I was able to follow the instructions they gave and had zero complications. My top sockets have already filled in and the bottom ones are on their way as well. I was able to keep my wisdom teeth through adulthood because I didn't have any complications until I started having health issues, and even then, I still kept them in 1 or 2 years longer than I probably should have. I was completely avoiding it due to the nerves so I really appreciate this team for taking such good care of me! Thank you!

I had my wisdom teeth removed here earlier this week. During the procedure I was told that I had an…read moreasthma attack (I do not have asthma). After the surgery, I called the office to follow up and ask questions about the recommended steroid medication. When I expressed concerns about taking steroids, the staff member on the phone began discussing another patient's personal genetic history related to steroid use, which felt like a serious HIPAA violation. When I pointed this out, the staff member Brianna became upset transferred me to Dr. Cline who ended the call without any help. The situation left me feeling very uncomfortable and concerned about both the professionalism and the handling of patient information. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience in terms of communication and patient care

But then he began a a tirade about what type of patient I would be (ignoring his advice, refusing X-rays), and then he told me he had not decided if he would even ACCEPT me as a patient! It's like a personal concert while receiving the best care in the most amazing tranquil setting with beautiful artwork all around. The doctor and his staff are just incredible! I think he's maybe the fourth endodontist to work on one of my teeth. He fixed all the problems the other guys missed. I had two root canals done by him to fix work that others had done poorly. He's incredibly thorough. The treatment is done in 2 sessions and antibiotics were prescribed in my case. I feel very lucky to live within an hour's drive. I would drive 8 hours to see Dr. Jimenez. I went back for a periodontal deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) and that went well, too -- even the scary part getting numbed up with multiple needles at the beginning (I hate that part)! So I am very pleased to have finally found a dental practice I am comfortable with, after going through a few other attempts at finding a good dentist in Santa Cruz County. Highly recommend.
