Here are some highlights that distinguish them from competitors: * The essential classes- During the essential classes, you will learn all the basic movements that are built to daily workout. You get a lot of attention (essential classes are usually even smaller than regular sessions) and the instructors will get to know your fitness level to help you adjust later exercises once you are with a regular class. * They really focus on your forms- The instructors never, ever stop teaching you and always demonstrate every exercise and will monitor your movements. They will also help adjust the exercise with your level of fitness. They really push you hard but they also monitor the workout to make sure you never put yourself into a dangerous situation. * Small classes, easy parking. Clean facility and equipment- There are always spaces around the gym and parking is never an issue. You have to sign up before the class and the class is capped at 15 people max. This ensures you will have enough room to work out and you will not be stepping on each other. They clean the equipment for almost every class and the floor is mopped clean several times a day. * Cheaper classes, same effeteness as getting your own personal trainer- The basic membership is 3 times a week and the price is the cheapest/hr for this kind of physical training facilities around the area. Because you are working with a group, so you won't wing and complaint about your exercise and you get better effect than working with a personal trainer. * People are just so nice!! Often at times you'll have the floor to yourself (which is kept in great shape) and have exclusive use of the sound system. When the floor is busy we've often been allowed in the smaller rooms (I only dance Latin anyway) at no additional cost or detriment. The only detriment to it now I see are the Friday night socials, which only allow newbies or those registered for their classes to go. Considering a few of my friends are in them and often go to this social, I'm kind of left out. On the other hand though, I could just as easily register for a class and go... The rest of the socials are great, but they do cater to an older crowd then you would typically at a bar scene. In summary: This is a great place for top dancesport competitors and people totally new to the ballroom scene.
