This is probably one of the lower ranked nata places on my scale. The crust of 1 of the 2 that I ate was the highlight... quite flaky. The custard itself though wasn't particularly flavorful versus the other places. Also they managed to burn one of my natas (not the custard... the actual pastry), so it was a little hard. The line here moves a lot slower than other nata places. And staff is not as friendly. Its a little more expensive too (1.1 per nata, vs just 1 at other places). However we did buy 6 natas for 6 euros. Note that they charge 0.2 euros extra if you get the coffee to go.

Came here with my husband to have some lunch! We ordered the turkey sandwich and the vegan sandwich. They were both so delicious ! I especially enjoyed the balsamic vinaigrette that was put on top of it. My husband being non vegan ordered a local Portuguese meat pie ( not sure the name) that was recommended by the most lovely 2 ladies who worked there. He enjoyed them both very much. Their espresso is also very delicious.

Best pastel de nata in Porto After sampling several versions of pasteis over the last couple of days, we decided that the best ones come from Nata Lisboa - light crispy pastry & a delicious creamy eggy filling - served warm. They have good coffee there too & Marta was particularly friendly and helpful!

Nata is a traditional dessert for the Portuguese so I suggest trying it from here. Supposedly it's very different across Portugal. What is nata? An egg custard tart. The egg custard is very fragile. I was expecting a solid custard similar to creme brulee but it was so soft and broke after my first bite. The crust was very flaky and similar to the layers of baklava. They have great specials but I can only have one. They also serve cute empanada/dumpling looking things. I chose the salted Portuguese cod and wow was it salty. Way too salty. Besides the salt level, the wrapper dough part was good - not dry, not stale and not thick. The stuffing flavoring was great too but the amount of salt was a turn off. How it works: order inside, seat yourself outside, walk inside to pay. There is a 5 euro minimal to use your credit card.

Nata is the traditional Portuguese custard dessert! This place has the best we've tried so far. It's their specialty. The have specials where you can buy 6 for 6 euro which is cheaper than buying them individually. The crust is flaky and warm. The center is creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. They just melt in your mouth. We came here twice because they were just that good!

We were at first skeptical of this place because it is a Portuguese chain, but WOW! One of the best pasteis de nata we had in Portugal and they come hot. This place was so good we went twice as we were staying on Rua das Flores. The pasteis de nata are so good and make sure to ask for the cinnamon (canela) to sprinkle on top. The shot of hot chocolate and espresso was very good as well. Prices are excellent, I basically only have great things to say about this place. The service was great as well. As with most places in Portugal, you sit down for service rather than order at the counter. They were very attentive.

It's not every day that you feel like you're walking onto a period film set that harkens back to an…read moreelegantly appointed whodunnit like "Murder on the Orient Express". Jamie W and I had read about it on a travel vlog and recognized the need to bookmark it for our trip to Porto. Sure enough, we had a less than memorable meal at Honest Greens on the pedestrian-only Rua Santa Catarina. It was just a few doors down and conspicuous by its atmospheric detail. Carved dark wood, ornate ceilings, polished brass, marble tables, the whole nine yards. We almost felt underdressed until we noticed other tourists in far tackier leisurewear. We only had room for dessert which was just as well since they had a robust selection to choose from. Surprisingly it was nearly empty when we entered. Jamie ordered the 10€ Cheesecake with Red Fruits. It was a nice, creamy slice ladled with a compote-like coulis of blueberries and red currants (Photo 9). It was accompanied by a glass of Porto Quinta do Noval LBV, a scintillating port that fed into his new addiction (Photo 7). I decided to try their signature 10€ French Toast Majestic Style made distinctive by its decadent egg-custard cream sauce. The flavorful bread slice sat in a shallow pool of maple syrup and sprinkled with pine nuts, walnuts, and raisins (Photo 10). Instead of a port pairing, I ordered the 7€ Cafe au Lait which balanced well with the French toast (Photo 8). I really think the Belle Epoque decor complemented our digestion because this was the gathering spot for Porto's elite. For a few moments, we were part of it. FOOD / DRINK - 5 stars...glorious sweets, especially the French toast, and the port and caffeine were nice fits AMBIANCE - 5 stars...striking atmosphere befitting an Agatha Christie murder mystery in the Gilded Age SERVICE - 4.5 stars..,of course they're attentive TOTAL - 5 stars...a worthy stop among many in Porto RELATED - Exploring Porto? I was absolutely shook at the prices. 7€ for a pingo? (A sip of expresso with a drop of milk and the cup is slightly bigger than two or three thimbles. To compare, you can go most anywhere else and pay about 1€ for a pingo.) 8/9 euros for a hot chocolate? You can get cup of milk for 3/4 euros though, at the store you can get a whole liter for .89€ Listen, I am 100% sure being in this cafe is a dream for some potter fans but it is sad that the prices are that insane, but... clearly people pay them. I politely excused myself and I walked across the way and had two pork rissóis and a cup of coffee (not a baby pingo- think cappuccino size) for 3€... and for free, the real Portuguese experience with locals. The people I engaged with were lovely and kind here. This review is for the prices. Not the food, drinks, or service. Let's be real, of course ambiance is off the chart gorgeous. So if you don't mind a 50€ tab for 3-4 baby, baby coffees maybe just take a picture from the outside and call it good. There are more local and authentic things to do in Porto than pay 7€ for an orange juice or pingo.
