Such a fun and memorable experience! We attended one of The Murder Mystery Co.'s murder mystery…read moredinners at Philippe Chow, and the entire evening was incredibly well thought out, creative, and engaging from start to finish. It was such a fun way to do something completely different for dinner, get pulled into a great storyline, and meet some new friends along the way. The actors were fantastic! They did such a great job bringing the story and characters to life, keeping everyone involved, and striking the perfect balance between making the mystery engaging and keeping the whole evening lighthearted and fun. You could really tell how much thought and effort went into creating the experience, and everyone involved went above and beyond to make the night memorable. I was also really impressed by how much the guests embraced the theme. This particular mystery was set at a 1950s sock hop, and so many people showed up in '50s sock hop and rockabilly-inspired attire. It added so much to the atmosphere and really helped everyone get into the mood, the characters, and the storyline. It made the whole experience feel that much more immersive and was just incredibly fun! Philippe Chow was a beautiful setting for the event, with great food, service, and ambiance, which made an already great experience even better. If you're looking for something unique, interactive, and genuinely fun to do for an evening, I can't recommend The Murder Mystery Co. enough. Lots of laughs, a great group of people, fantastic actors, and such a creative way to spend a night out. We had such an absolute blast that we've already made reservations for the next one!

An amazing experience that I will definitely have to do again (and again). It was about 2 and 1/2…read morehours of fun, laughter, and using our detective skills. Everyone gets to participate from beginning to end. There was a feeling of mystery in the air from the moment we got there. My friends and I had a blast trying to figure out who the killer was. Turns out it was one of the people that was sitting at our table. LOL! And he didn't even know it was him because they didn't tell him. LOL! According to one of the actors (I believe his name was Jim), they not only do public ticketed shows but also private shows where they come to you. They can even perform at your house! New family bucket list item!!!! I would give the experience 5+ stars.

Just visited Nashville for the first time this past weekend and boy they know how to do it down…read morethere, especially at Odie's! From start to end I couldn't have been happier with my experience at Odie's. I was greeted at the door by the biggest happiest guy ever named Ced who was coincidentally the manager too! We got chatting and he was giving me recommendations on what I should do with my remaining days, but once he found out it was my first time in Music City he insisted on getting me a beer, southern hospitality is awesome. Ced suggested trying their food, big man knew the secrets. I got a Odie's classic burger with bacon and GOLLY THAT WAS GOOD! While enjoying my food and drink In their awesome bar (it has a boat inside!!!) I was checked on multiple times by the server/bartenders, but when I wanted some more napkins there was only their jacked security guys around, I believe his name was Ryan, he could tell I wanted something and offered a helping hand. Besides the food, drink, music, and ambiance being awesome. The politeness, professionalism, and down right good vibes delivered by the awesome employees at Odie's will have me coming back to Music City! They created a raving fan out of me!

My 3 friends and I started our day here. It was my only request because I love Old Dominion!…read more The bar is so cute! The backyard was so much fun! Lots of tvs, cornhole and beer pong. I had the chicken on a stick and it was delicious! The others had salads and a grilled cheese. Everyone was happy with their lunch! I had a peach mule from the bar and it was delicious! I could have stayed all day drinking them! And then stumbled out! The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the service wasn't very friendly, I don't think our server smiled even one time, she told us the potato salad had mustard on it, I'm about 99% sure it did not. They don't have any sweetener for the tea, and I really wanted to buy a short, but the merchandise area was smaller than my closet and the shirts they did have were pretty icky quality. I was super disappointed with that. Next time I'm in Nashville I'd go again for the food and drinks and fun atmosphere and hope for a friendlier server.

SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY!…read more Christmas is my favorite time of year and during this time, I love the performing arts and Christmas programs So with that in mind, I searched for performances in the Nashville area. When I saw the following ad and description, I was delighted and responded immediately. Here is what I read : Motel Noel might or might not have angels, but it definitely has Christmas music. Motel Noel will leave you laughing, crying and filled with the spirit of Christmas. "Motel Noel is a funny, musical, punch to the heart," Barry Scott. Sounds exciting right? Well, the reality was quite the opposite. It did not leave us crying laughing or filled with the spirit of Christmas. It left us feeling irritated and manipulated because this play was the opposite of what was advertised. It left us just frustrated and annoyed that we wasted our time here when we could have had a better experience elsewhere. The night started off bad because when we arrived at the location listed on the ticket, it was clear that we were not at the right place as it was dark and obviously unoccupied. After walking around a bit, I called the number listed on the ticket and discovered that the incorrect address was printed on the ticket. The play was actually at the West End United Methodist church a few miles away. We arrived on time and made it to the fourth floor where the theater is located. The room is small but has a nice stage and very comfortable seating. It was the perfect venue for an intimate performance. As soon as the lights dropped, two male performers emerged and began to have a disjointed conversation. They were later joined by a third actor and it was apparent that they were all portraying patients with mental health issues. Things went down-hill from here because the actors seemed to be just having a private conversation and didn't really engage the audience at all. It was really odd and difficult to follow because there didn't seem to be any real direction. This was no musical and it did not seem to have anything to do with Christmas. It was billed as a comedic drama but the comedic aspect was obviously missing. It was more of a social commentary on mental illness than anything. I checked out right away and awoke to my husband poking me in the side. I continued to lightly snooze but found myself awakened by loud rambling dialogue and unnecessary yelling. I do believe that the yelling was a misguided attempt at capturing the audience's attention. However, it was a failed attempt and actually led to us deciding that we needed to leave during intermission. This was the first time I have (ever in life), walked out on a performance but this was absolutely the right decision for us. I don't know what their intention was in advertising this performance in such a disingenuous manner but it backfired because we will never again support this theater. West End, If you want the public to attend your performances you must advertise them honestly no matter how difficult the subject matter. False advertising is never a good idea and will only call your reputation into question. Simply say what you mean and mean what you say! #Truth in advertising!
