    Cool and comfortable VIP tent.
    Marie B.

Cavalia exceeded my expectations! I haven't experienced anything like it in my life and yes this could possibly be the best show on earth. The VIP access included: - A full buffet before the show, - drinks, - fruits and desserts during intermission, - tour of the training area, stable, and mainstage, - the opportunity to meet the performers, and - Cavalia book souvenir. I felt like I was watching a real life fairytale with amazing acrobats, aeroalists, and horseback riders. The sets, costumes, themes, and backdrops were absolutely beautiful. The athleticism and agility of the performers left me in awe. I enjoyed watching the performers flip, dance, hang from poles with their feet, and glide fearlessly through the air. There was no radio play or lip singing- it was ALL live! A few things to mention: *Gravel parking for $20. *Ushers are available to offer assistance to your assigned seats. *Restrooms are available outside of the VIP lounge and big tent. *No flash photography or video during the show. *Visit the Boutique (Gift Shop) for memorabilia. *There are only three weeks left to experience Cavalia in Nashville. It was an epic adventure that I will never forget. Thank you again Johnny, it was great!!!

Splendid. Absolutely splendid. I did some "homework" before this experience, and I can say nothing on the web even comes close to capturing how magnificent it all truly is. The Yelp Elites were treated to the VIP experience, housed in its own, rather elaborate, tent. The food was surprisingly amazing! I especially loved all the main course was labeled with ingredients for those with allergies or specific diets. (Only wish the desserts had been also.) We later learned the chefs are Cavalia's full time staff that cook for the crew too. Additionally, free flowing champagne, wine, beer, sodas, tea, coffee, water.... There's popcorn, VIPs have their own bathrooms, beautiful programs as gifts, and a gift shop. Ah, the show.... Oh my. It was FAR better than I had anticipated. Beautiful horses and their human counterparts, breathtaking acrobatics, and endless smiles and high-fives from the performers. The horses are well-trained ranging from various tricks, hunter jumping and dressage, yet allowed to run free for many portions of the program. It's not entirely scripted, as we witnessed a newer member of the horse cast decided to run free during a portion of the show! Ultimately, several parts of the program went "wrong", but weren't wrong at all -- in that the performers are as well trained as the horses to just let it flow and simply be. And that, they did. The live band and their amazing singer sealed the deal, along with magnificent acrobatics and beautiful singing from a portion of their crew from Africa, promoting the audience to participate. Stunning! To make the experience even better (yes, I said better...can you believe that?!?), we were treated to a tour of the stables, as well as a behind-behind-the scenes; meeting human and equine performers, witnessed some walking stilts training, and a tour of the arena itself! Go! Go now! You won't regret it!

Amaaaaaaaazing! This was an emotional experience it's like opera meets acrobatics and horses. I seriously think that the horses spoke to me seriously. The music was ethereal and peaceful and live! The artists are singing above the stage with such enthusiasm. There is also a live band including string instruments and drums. There are African dancers that drum and dance and do gymnastics. There are horses doing tricks and running in water and dancing and just blowing your mind. The main singer was on point and so engaging. She was a mix between opera and Mediterranean music. Hats off to the stage crew! The lighting was fantastic and made the sand look like ice and grass and water. They were on cue and lifted the performers and did an excellent job. This show is so emotional and artistically fabulous. I was in tears!

I don't even know where to begin. This show! It was ethereal, beautiful, filled with majestic horses, and a talented cast and crew. I was able to enjoy the Cavalia VIP experience, and I had an amazing afternoon. The VIP experience includes a buffet lunch, drinks, popcorn, desserts at intermission, a chance to visit the stables, colorful program, and a parking pass. The buffet lunch and desserts were plentiful and so delicious! There was also a souvenir shop inside of the VIP tent. The show! There is a live band and singer during the show, no tracks at all. The songs are not sung in English, but they are translated in the program. The performers and trainers are so talented, and work together so well; the shows effects, lighting and music go together seamlessly. The horses are beautiful, and you can tell they love their trainers/riders. They are treated with such love and they are well taken care of. I would highly recommend this show!!

Just amazing! We had the full rendezvous VIP experience. Came a little early where we got a light lunch and open bar until 2pm From the moment the show started, it was breathtaking. The horses were so beautiful and so well trained. Everyone who was on the show were remarkable! There's not enough words to describe this show! The African tribe dancers were awesome and also got the audience attention. The Ariel dancers were so elegantly beautiful. The music for the whole show was awesome. There was a 30 min concession where we had the Dessert bar. To top it off, we saw Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman with their children! So awesome! Def will come back to see the show! Everyone on set along with the horses had GREAT CHEMISTRY!!!!!!! Just beautiful!!!!!!

Huge tents that house the show

Cavalia is an experience that is mystical perfection! I attended as an elite Yelper and I had seen all the advertisements around town, but really didn't know what to expect. I was floored by the grace, strength and agility of the performers. The beauty of the horses. The food, service and presentation were also excellent! Upon arrival we entered the VIP lounge and before us was a beautiful display of food and it was all delicious. I especially loved the hummus and couscous! Adult beverages included wine and beer. There were all sorts of soft drinks too. I tried a lovely sparkling Pinot Chardonnay blend. Unfortunately I was driving and had to limit myself to one adult beverage. P.S. parking is $20. If you don't have to drive, I'd suggest uber/lyft/taxi. After eating we went into the stadium and was blown away by the show! Hands down best show I have ever seen and experienced! You just have to go. There are horses, acrobatics, crazy horse tricks, aerialists.... the training that the performers and horses have to do has got to be intense and over the top! The set up is pretty amazing too! From Fancy porta-potties to huge Big Top tents that glisten in the sunlight. Everything is very well done and appears to be very well managed. At intermission there is a huge dessert bar in the VIP tent. Soooo decadent and delicious! I strongly suggest you see and experience Cavalia before it moves to a new city!

Wow! Just wow. The word my friend used to describe Cavalia is "majestic" and I would have to agree. Part equestrian part theatrical arts and cirque du soleil, this show is bound to take your breath away. Cavalia Odysseo is based out of Montreal, Canada but they have performers from all over the world and over 100 horses as part of their traveling show. The VIP Experience: This is definitely the way to go if you want to see Cavalia. I felt like a queen having this VIP experience. I even saw Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman here, so that's when you know that you are special. We were given a lanyard which granted us access to the VIP tent, a Cavalia souvenir book and a chance to see the horse stables after the show. The VIP tent had a dinner and dessert buffet and two different open bars. They had a kid's corner which catered more to younger tastes and bags of popcorn to take into the show. The dinner was a Mediterranean-style spread with chicken and beef, pasta salad, kale Caesar salad, hummus and crackers, shrimp and a few other dishes. The food was tasty and was healthy enough for a buffet that you felt good after eating it. The dessert buffet on the other hand was a bit more indulgent with cookies, cheesecake, lemon bars, fruit, cheese and crackers and a few other items. The cheese was so good and I loved the lemon bar. The Show: The scenes that they created were imaginative. The backgrounds to the props to the use of water made it interesting to watch. The performers who rode out on horses were graceful and seemed bonded to their horse. Their costumes were beautiful. The training for the horses was truly incredible to see as the dressage that was exhibited showed the range of what they could do. Another incredible feature of the show is that up above the audience you can see two areas where there are live performers. I spotted a violinist, a drummer, a guitarist and a singer playing the tambourine. The performers, horses, costumes, background scenes and live music all come together to create a touching and emotional experience. The Yelp Elite Experience: As usual Johnny T. made the event extra special for us. Thanks to the Cavalia and Yelp team as usual for this opportunity. It was my favorite Elite event so far! The group of Yelp Elites got a behind-the-scenes tour with one of their Marketing staff who allowed us to take photos with one of the performers holding a horse then we got to go back into the venue when it was completely empty to learn insider facts about this production. For example, we learned that while it takes 14 days to set up their elaborate tents and stables it only takes 3 days to break everything down.

There was a lot of hype surrounding Cavalia Odysseo in Nashville, and the VIP experience did not disappoint! I'm so glad I was able to experience the spectacular event on the Sunday matinee! The doors to the VIP tent opened early, so we arrived around 12:30pm and were able to park very close to the entrance which was great! Once we got inside we went to the bar where they had a variety of red, white, and sparkling wine plus beer. I stuck with the sparkling wine and it was very good. I heard that the organizers insisted upon good wine and it showed! I hadn't eaten breakfast so I was excited to check out the food but didn't have high expectations, however, I was very pleasantly surprised. They had delicious kale salad, salmon, couscous, chicken, hummus and beef. The food was fantastic and fresh. It was excellent. I was glad we got there so early so we relax and enjoy the full VIP experience and were not rushed at all. Plus the air conditioned tent was lovely! Our seats were incredible and the show was amazing. I loved the aerial dancers because they incorporated both the horses and acrobatics. I can't believe the skill involved and the horses were simply gorgeous. Additionally the female riders who were standing on the horses backs were nuts. I don't know how they did that, but it was impressive. Thank you so much Yelp and Johnny T for such a memorable day. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I'm so grateful for the opportunity!

This YELP event was the best event I have been to! Hands down!!! This VIP experience was so awesome! The show, the set, the food, the horse, the music, everything was just amazing! We arrived at the scheduled time of 12:30p. There was tent area with a nice spread for lunch, as well as drinks and popcorn. Around 2p, we moved into the main tent area to start the show. Words cannot even explain this amazing show. The talent of the horses and the trainers/performers were just beyond anything I have ever seen. You can tell that they have a special bond with the horses. There was an intermission with desserts and cheese.. and a spotting of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban :). Then it was back to the show! Afterwards, we had a chance to meet the horses and the Yelp group got a chance to go backstage. It is impressive how Cavalia Odysseo set up and prep for the show. And very impressive on how they move all of their horses, equipment, and extremely large tents around the country. Shout out to Yelp Nashville!!! Thank you for setting this up!

Loved getting to meet some of the performers!

An amazing experience. This the best Yelp event that I've ever done and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to watch this incredible show! I had friends who had gone to Cavalia shows in other cities before, but I didn't really understand what the show featured besides lots of horses. Cavalia is actually a mix of opera, gymnastics, aerial silk/hoop work, and lots and lots of fantastic tricks with the horses. All the performances were fantastic, and I fell in love with the music, the costumes, the scenery, all of it. The people starring in this show are so talented that it's unbelievable. Watching it I felt like a little kid, completely entranced by everything in front of me. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. When we arrived, we were treated to a buffet full of delicious food such as smoked salmon, kale salad, grilled chicken and hummus. They also had beer, wine and popcorn that we were allowed to take into the tent. At intermission they served a tasty spread of cookies, tiramisu cake, petit fours, and a ton of other sweets. After the show we had the privilege to go backstage to see the horses and some of the performers up close, and one of the show managers took time to chat with us about the tour of the show, and what goes into all of it. There are over a 100 people on staff that travel with the production and it took 3 weeks to set up everything here in Nashville. You can tell that everyone involved loves it so much. The next time the tour comes around I will definitely be buying tickets. I also really want to take a couple or horse riding lessons now!

Majestic, beautiful riders, horses and amazing food majestic. I just saw a man flip under a horse. There is so much to say about this experience, I am going to have to shorten it. Elite were invited for the VIP experience. This included, Parking, 20 a pop free --food before and during and then a tour of the horses all FREE! Initially, It did NOT include, a back stage pass WHICH WE HAD! We also had a view of some of Nashville's famous...think Austrailian singers and actors. Elites had BETTER seats. Food before, rib roast, medium to rare, chicken with herbs, pasta, kale salad to die for, caprese salad with mozzarella pearls, couscous with veges, hummas and crackers, and pasta with vegetables. Kids table had pizza, cheese and pepperoni and sliders and mini hot dogs. Drinks. I had white wine, there was beer and red wine. Intermission had the best desserts, cookies, think Christy and lemon bars, things the best ones and double it, cheese and fruit, 7 layer cookies and Peanut Butter with chocolate layers and several types of brownies. Also popcorn thru out the entire show. Show---Amazing. Go go and don't think about it. This was a show that made you emotional without even knowing it. The horses the performers the live music gave one chills. The beginning you meet the horses and a few of the performers, then the acrobats from New Guinnea, amazing athletes and then the girls on the horses. This is nuts. I kept looking for the seats they were sitting on to keep them from falling. NOPE. These ladies were literally sking on horses. You could duct tape me up like Silence of the lambs and I still would have fallen off and my Mom made me walk with a glass of water across the house for balance. It was amazing. There was a carasol with not real horses where the performers did feats of strength of beauty while the poles turned and made it look easy. Have you ever held on a pole in the air 30 feet above ground and do a split. Nope did not thing so. They had an angel like performance with wraps that included the horses while the girl performers twisted and turned 25 feet high. A few guys wearing wearing the jump shoes that could pivot and somersault 4 times there height. The guy from New Guinnea who were so very very very strong and looked so handsome with tons of acrobatics. Finally the water scene and the scenery which was amazing with optical illusions. This show took your breath away and the VIP advantage was the the ultimate package in enjoying every single minute. Once in a life time chance to see an amazing show similar to the ones of many acrobatics, but with horses and tons better. Seriously one of the best shows I have ever experienced.

It also doesn't hurt to have seen the Ken Burns Country Music production to add a bit of history and context to this place and Ryman. Auditorium. It's a decent Taxi/Uber ride out here (and back), with drop off and finding one to go back pretty easy. There are snacks and a gift shop here, but if you want to make it a dinner and a show, there are places nearby. Gayle and I, along with Erin and Jim attended the April 30 performance of Opry Country Classics. The Larry Gatlin (and Brothers) were the MCs, with the Opry band handling the backup music, and Charlie Mattos doing the folksy "Play by Play", all live on WSM (We Shield Millions) Radio. Performers were Janie Fricke, Hanna Dasher, Moe Bandy, and Daily and Vincent as the featured artist. It was a great show! We had a nice 4 seat pew near the front, the sight lines (direct and via screens) were clear, and the sound quality/mix was excellent. Daily and Vincent (with the guest banjo player) were fantastic and I've already preordered their next album. The only minor irritation was Hanna Dasher shamelessly promoting her cook book (Stand by Your Pan), but even that added to the high quality entertainment value of this show. I'd love to experience this again.

The Grand Ole Opry has operated out of several venues, and since 1974, performances have been in the Grand Ole Opry House; previously, it was the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville between 1943 to 1974. This year (2026) is a special year, as the Grand Ole Opry turns 100, and on February 28, 2026, there was a performance to celebrate 25 year anniversary of the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou?" The movie is well known for its soundtrack, and it introduced bluegrass music to a new generation. Performing were several artists from the soundtrack, such as Alison Krauss (my fifth time seeing her!), Emmylou Harris, Dan Tyminski, The Whites, The Fairfield Four, and the actor Tim Blake Nelson. There were also numerous other artists performing songs from the soundtrack such as Old Crow Medicine Show, Billy Strings, Sarah Jarosz, Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, and many, many more. Even though I didn't know most of the performers, I really enjoyed the show. After the performance, there was a Q&A with Tim Blake Nelson, Dan Tyminski, and Chris Thomas King. HOWEVER, this little theatre really delivered when it came to their recent production of A Christmas Carol. My husband and I were simply bewildered by the talent here as it is a very small town and this venue does not exactly scream: Talent resides here! According to one audience member, the theatre has been around for approximately 30 years but the building is quiet a bit older and this is most evident with the seats. The wooden seats are super narrow and somewhat uncomfortable for those that are fluffier than most. They appear to be at least fifty years old. The production was very professional as was the cast. My husband and I both agreed that this group of talented actors and actresses deserve a larger and much nicer space. Regardless of the venue, the play did not suffer one bit. We enjoyed every aspect of it including the singing and instrumental performances. This play was perfect for the entire family and proudly represented the spirit of Christmas. Lakewood is a great little theatre and worth checking out if you are looking for great plays and performances.

Now on to the service and food, let me present a timeline. 7:30 we arrive 7:55 we finally get our drink order and we place our order for appetizers and entrees at the time because I can see the writing on the wall: the service is slow (the drinks were quite good) 8:30 waiter comes back to tell us that the printer had a malfunction and they have food ready but need to match tickets to tables. He asks us to repeat our order. 8:35 we get our appetizer, artichoke spinach dip. This was the best part of the meal. 8:45 the waiter comes to say they are out of short rib (my entree) and I can choose something else. Mind boggling because we've been there over an hour now. I order the pork chop. The waiter assures us he will comp the appetizer. 9:08 our meal comes (prime rib for my husband and the pork for me). My husband asks for a glass of red wine. Waiter once again tells us the appetizer will be comped. My husband's prime rib was supposed to be medium rare. I've never seen a prime rib as well-done as the one that arrived. It was like taking a bite of the Sahara Desert. It was so horrible he barely ate half of it, and he isn't someone that has an issue finishing a dish. It was also completely flavorless. My pork was cooked to the perfect temperature but there was not a speck of salt to be found (nor any other seasoning). I was eating a juicy, tasteless piece of meat. The mushroom sauce on top was extremely bland. 9:20 we realize the wine for my husband is never coming and we just want to get the heck out of there and ask for the check. We get the check and imagine our surprise...the artichoke dip is still on the check AND the wine we never received. We just payed the dumb check and left because now it had been 2 hours and we were SO done. $170 for the worst experience we've ever had at a restaurant. TLDR; don't go here. The service is slow and the food is subpar.
