This show was fantastic!! The whole cast is incredibly talented!! It is high energy and we were entertained the whole time. It's an intimate venue, and there is a lot of audience interaction. There are a lot of things to do in Nashville, and we were glad we spent time seeing this show. Keep in mind, this is an adult show... hence why it's 18+.... and not the show for you if you are easily offended. P.S. There is an option to go downstairs to a bar after the show, but it fills up fast. I booked table tickets for my partner's birthday, and the night started pretty good. The venue has this old, majestic charm that pulls you in right away. The acrobatic women were incredible in their separate scenes, each one showing real strength and talent. The contortionist was fantastic and easily one of the most impressive parts of the night. We ordered a few drinks and some appetizers. Everything was just ok, nothing memorable. Our server wasn't attentive at all, and we ended up with empty plates sitting in front of us for most of the night. Then toward the end, things took a strange turn. The show introduced a "South African" character making exaggerated tribal noises and strange calls. It came across racially off-key and uncomfortable. The Black actor tried to balance the whole thing by getting audience members to do silly tasks, but it still didn't work. Watching him on the floor chasing a white man's butt as mostly white audience members laughed felt wrong. With the earlier quirky hillbilly-style bits and then this, the finale just didn't land. The talent is absolutely there, but the creative direction and the service need a serious rethink. read more

Had the opportunity to go see the show while recently visiting Nashville. The show was spectacular, especially the acrobatics. I'm sorry to say we did not enjoy this show, and it had nothing to do with the "raunchiness" of it, as we had read up on it prior to going and have been to other adult shows in other places that we enjoyed. It did have it's moments. There was truly some impressive athleticism and talent on stage, and I would have liked to see a greater emphasis put on showcasing that talent. Unfortunately more than half of the show (not that I timed it, but it felt this way) is spent on just talking and jokes, or segments that bring the audience on stage, distracting from that talent. The jokes usually didn't land, and overall, the writing needs a re-visit. There was a whole number based on making animal sounds near the end of the show that quite frankly, just felt really out of place, and doesn't leave you wanting more. The wow factor of the show was in the dance and acrobatic numbers, and especially the contortionist, where you had raucous applause and people really captivated by it. More of that would make for a way better show! We went because the performance was advertised to us as an adult style cirque du soleil with a country spin... so we went expecting that... and it just landed very far away from that. On top of this, we paid for box seats because we thought we would be getting some kind of premium or more comfortable experience. Instead, we got a highly obstructed view on an uncomfortable couch which we eventually gave up for a worse view, but the ability to be comfortable. They don't tell you any of this when booking online, so here is the info. For the box seats, the front four seats being sold are actually a couch, which unless all four people getting it know each other very well, and are petite and thin-framed people, you're going to be crammed into without any kind of respite. The second row of four seats gets you your own seat... but it's a bar grade high top table style seat, that naturally leans you forward due to wear, making you constantly have to fight the feeling of falling because there is nothing to lean forward on. On the extreme left, you'll be able to see most of what is going on, and have a more comfortable seat as there is a built-in style couch that runs the full length, giving people the ability to space out just a little. We moved to this once it was shown there was room. The entire thing just gave "we cram as many people as we possibly can in here" vibes, like what you get on an airplane. On the whole, for what we paid to go, we did not feel it was worth it, and would not recommend it to other people. read more

The show is definitely not worth the cost of the ticket. It started out fun and exciting and then somewhere along the way it got weird. It was really difficult to understand and trust the process. I felt as though I was watching a hillbilly talent show. Don't get me wrong there are some acts that are impressive while others left me wondering "what is going on here". There's no flow and it just kind of ended. I don't know. Maybe because so many tourists attend it stays in business but as a local I won't be coming back. I wanted this to be a show that I'd be excited to bring my visitors to Nashville to. I don't think I can even recommend it to anyone. Some of the acrobatics are certainly impressive and the contortionist is amazing, but "Shiners" needs a plot and a story. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of antics thrown together. I'm torn about this show. There were some really good parts and some parts that probably need some work. Located about two blocks from broadway the show hosts a bar downstairs with a variety of drinks and food. The showroom itself is on the smaller side. It includes 3 sections of seats downstairs and a small balcony section for the high rollers. The show itself was a mix. There was definitely some talent on the floor. Without giving away too much information the pole dancer and hand balancers were top level acts. There was a funny towel routine as well. The contortionist was good. The rest of the performances struggled for one reason or another. The final song was terrible and a waste of time. The first "fight" scene was disjointed and didn't really show much, it wasn't well choreographed. They wasted way too much time on some animal sound act. The audience interactions often started funny, but took too long and lost the crowd. The jokes were raunchy, but so predictable it hurt. The entire thing just felt disjointed and poorly paced. If they get a better writer and figure out how to fill the time between their highlight acts this could be a really good show. Price on tickets were $80-150 for a 1.5 hour show. Could be a fun night with a couple drunk friends. Not sure I'd recommend this for a date. I'm torn about this show. read more

So I read the reviews and many people said the show was "too raunchy" and thought it was right up my alley. It was entertaining, I didn't think it was raunchy at all. As a matter of fact I wished it was a lot more raunchier but it wasn't. The transition from Family Fued Game Show to the Animal Sounds was very confusing and didn't make sense. The girls did a phenomenal job with the acrobatics.'I noticed my friend and I were the youngest ones there as everyone else was a lot older in their late 50's, 60's, and 70's. This was a great show! I highly recommend it. My cheeks hurt from laughing. We meet several of the performers after the show. All great people. We got there early and ate at the bar. The carnitas tacos were really tender. The couple next to us had ordered several different items. Mozzarella sticks being one of them. I so wanted to try it because it smelled amazing! The chef even came out to ask is if we enjoyed our food. Drinks were pretty good as well. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Pros: Hilarious R-rated comedy (yes it gets raunchy, if you don't like that, this isn't your show) Awesome athletes and artists, I was amazed at the strength and abilities of the acrobats Intimate setting - the theater is way smaller than I imagined Loved the host, even though his "skill" was a brief song and guitar, he held the show together Most of the audience engagement (even if planned) was fun! Cons: The cost - holy moly this is expensive even with a discount. We spent $170 on two tickets with a 10% discount. The animal sounds / game show act was weird... I'd say that's normally a talent but it felt more chaotic than an act especially with awkward audience engagement. The singing at the end, although lovely, seemed super unimpressive after you've watched people defy human strength I've seen it once and don't need to see it again, but I'd recommend it to a visitor or local looking for something new, entertaining, and you can make it alcohol free and still laugh - promise (I did!). read more

This show was absolutely amazing. Super fun. The people giving it fewer stars apparently expect something entirely different. The main guy interacts with the audience. Hes hilarious in sort of a ryan reynolds way. There are amazing performances and frankly the 2 strong guys did acrobatics I didnt think possible. In fact most of the performers had moments that seemed impossible. It was a great way to spend the evening. A friend of mine suggested it and shes been 3 times. Pros: Spacious upscale bar with lots of comfortable seating downstairs. Intimate theater with no bad seats. The back row is still only maybe 20 feet from the stage. The acrobatic skill on display is thrilling! Cons: Extremely awkward, nearly incoherent, storytelling. There is a vague storyline about a "family reunion" but it just doesn't tie into the acts. It would work better if set up as a series of short talent exhibitions, which is what it is. Also, this is not a long show. We were in and out in less than 1.5 hours. I paid $110 per ticket and I don't feel it was worth that price. read more
