The show was good but we felt pretty claustrophobic. We were squeezed in very tight and there was no way my husband could have gotten out of his seat in an emergency. I guess we are just old and worry too much lol.

Wait in line to get in the door- get there early!!

I have now been to more comedy shows, and can confidently say that Zanies is figuring out the seating/dining situation. When you are allowed inside, it is first come first serve seating. Even if someone else is sitting at a table, if there is an open seat, you can sit at it. Service staff are quick to address those that sit, sticking to their sections and making the rounds to make sure that everyone has been seen. Staff came by frequently to make sure that we were still good, even during sets (mostly communicated via thumbs up/thumbs down "you good?). Drinks were fantastic, the food was OK. The fries could use some salt, but the wings looked good. We had an awesome time thanks to attentive staff who helped guide us.

Really enjoy coming here! It's one of the few OG Nashville entertainment places left and the vibes here are great! You can see all of the comedians that have performed here thru the years listed on the walls. There's plenty of seating (tables, booths, bar, and balcony options) and you pick your seat when you arrive so get there when doors open. You have to order two items per person, which is easy to do with the affordable pricing of the menu. Staff is also super friendly and welcoming! Do go!

We saw Ms Pat during a weekend afternoon in Dec 2024. Overall good experience, only complaints are the variability of seating and slow food service. Free parking was great. We came around 15 min before doors open and there were several open spots. We were surprised with the line to get in for this show, given it was raining and an early afternoon show. After getting in, they checked our ID to lookup the reservation and seated us. The seating seems like it's up to the usher and what's available. We were offered either a bar top with a stool or sitting in the upstairs area. We chose the bar top. The area right in front of the stage is reserved for VIP Service was the lowlight. We got in as doors opened, saw other people around us get served, and finally had to ask an usher to find which server was supposed to serve us. Disappointing. Food selection and prices were fair. Gratuity is automatically included in the bill. They handed out the cell phone bags (YONDR) but they were not strictly enforced. Show was good, but that is obviously dependent on the act. Would come here again! Hope they can improve the consistency of the service

The admission price is really reasonable. We saw Pat McGann and he was hilarious! Our waiter's name was Bryce and he was the best waiter ever!

Talented comedian at Zanies Nashville rocking a bold floral blazer. Great performers in this venue where you're always close to the action!

I've caught several well-known comedians at Zanies Nashville, and it never disappoints. This intimate venue has a classic comedy club feel with surprisingly good seating arrangements - you can pretty much see the stage well from anywhere in the house. The wait staff really knows their stuff, staying attentive throughout the shows and helping with menu selections without interrupting the performances. The lighting and sound quality are on point, which really adds to the overall experience. There's a two-drink or food minimum, you just purchase your tickets online and show your id at the store. Pro tip: buy your tickets early and opt for premium seating if you can, it's worth it! What I love about Zanies is how it works for any occasion - perfect for date nights, great for friend groups, and you'll see all types of people in the audience. After most shows, you can meet the comedians, take photos, and they often have merchandise like t-shirts and other interesting items available for purchase. Pro tips: Get there well in advance of show time. The line can get pretty long, especially for bigger names, and parking in the area can be tricky. If you're planning to eat, I'd recommend arriving at least an hour before showtime to get settled in. Food and drinks are decent - nothing fancy, but they get the job done.

Had a great time at Zanies Comedy Club. We went there with a group of 12 to celebrant our friends' 30th anniversary. We decided to go on a Monday, which is new material night. I thought the talent was very good, and there was a variety of different comedic styles. They even had a couple magicians testing their material. We sat next to the stage, so there was a lot of interaction with the comedians. My husband was a participant on stage during a comedy show. There is a 2 drink minimum, but bottled water also counts toward the minimum. The service was friendly and attentive to our large group.

I love going to a comedy show at Zanie's! It's a small venue, so each show feels intimate. Also, if you order a drink from the bar before the show you get early entry which is an easy plus! I've had their chips and queso before which is pretty average, but their peanut butter chocolate cake is incredibly good. They always do a good job about making sure people respect the performers, and the servers are always attentive. I wish there were a way to just pay a small fee to not have to order any food, but I do understand they have to do that in order to have enough servers/make sure they are taken care of.

Funny fact! I very much remember VIP tickets being sold out when I bought them for Gianmarco Soresi's 7:00 performance tonight. So, I had to buy GA. No big deal. But when I got to the venue and showed the employee my ID to confirm successful ticket sale, they said I had a VIP ticket! I even checked my receipts, only GA tickets here! Yet, we got a table RIGHT IN FRONT of the stage!! I couldn't believe it! Amazing!! Thank you to whatever funny coincidence allows that to happen!! Service was decent, the show was fun and the view was unexpectedly awesome! We were very close to the comedians for the whole set, it was cool! Food-wise, I ordered the hummus and pita. LOVED the fresh pita chips. Mom got Philly cheesesteak and said it tasted a few hours old but wasn't bad.

Zanies was a great way to spend a date night! Be prepared for a line to get in - we arrived 30 minutes early and were only seated right at the start of showtime. I'd recommend aiming for 45 min - 1 hour before to ensure you have enough time! They do have a 2 item minimum per ticket, so be prepared to order some food or drinks! The pretzel bites with cheese were great! I recommend staying away from the mozzarella sticks are they lacked any flavor. All food was hot and fresh though! Their "mocktails" were unimpressive and simply strawberry lemonade. Comedians vary by weekend but I really enjoyed one of the opening acts and the headliner - the other opener just spewed out lewd sentences and hoped it made people laugh. Definitely give Zanies a try but prepare to arrive early or miss part of your show!!

We missed getting into the bluebird we're doing comedy

I'm on a knee scooter. Does anyone know if there is handicapped seating so I can prop up a leg cast?

There is a lot of single chair seating. I'm sure they can accommodate without issues by having you get two chairs or seated on the bench then prop your leg up.

Gayle, Jim, Erin, and I were here at the 6 PM show on 4/29/26 that featured Jason Duke, Keesy Trimmer, and Chris Bondi. We actually met Keesy when we were walking to the venue as his car pulled up and he asked if we were heading to the Listening Room? When we said yes, he was very excited. We were too at the end of the evening, with all of us agreeing that this was one of, if not the highlight of our trip to Nashville. The Listening Room itself is a large and acoustically solid room within what looked like an old International Harvester Farm Equipment Building. Food and Drink are served and I believe there was a minimum in addition to the admission price. This is normally not a place that you can walk in, so buy your tickets early. We found the food to be "adequate", the service very good, and a 5 Star show experience. Each songwriter took turns with a number, explained some background on it, name dropped artists who recorded their songs, and told some great stories. It seems like the Nashville songwriting community knows each other well, which might explain the easy familiarity all 3 had with each other and their individual song writing efforts. We might have related to Chris Bondi a little more, especially after singing the "I Bet You Would Have Loved Her" tear jerker, and a really funny one on getting high while skiing. Keesy had a great one about a boat and "Time Makes Money Look Cheap" cowritten by him and others and recorded by Chris Janson. Jason Duke showcased "Dibs" that was recorded by Kelsea Ballerini. Or was it "That Could Still Be Us" performed by Keith Urban? Our only regret was that tickets were still available for the 9 PM show (with a new songwriting team) and we passed it up. Post Note: Gayle's song title idea for Keesy: Don't go Puking on my Boots. :)

Nice commentary in between songs telling stories. This place is quite big. We were seated in the upstairs balcony as we were a group of about 40 people. The view was good if you were at the end of the table adjacent to the balcony. For appetizers our table ordered the chicken wings dry rub which were really good - hot, well cooked tender and crispy outside. Sweet potato fries were good and others had the pretzels with cheese sauce. For my main meal I ordered the southwest salad with turkey (cubed) - which was fine. Overall a good experience!

The Bluebird Cafe was perhaps the biggest blind spot in my adventures as a concert goer. Thankfully for me, a can't miss opportunity arose and I was able to get tickets for it. I'm a HUGE Drive By Truckers fan and I've seen the band a dozen+ times live across the country. I've seen co-founder Patterson Hood solo a few times, but never Mike Cooley (the other co-founder) as he's simply never played live in a city I was living in or close to on a solo tour...until now. So when I saw he was doing 2 back to back shows at the Bluebird, a venue I had yet to experience, it seemed sort of kismet. I logged on when tickets went on sale and bought a great seat instantly for a very reasonable price. When I arrived, it was a bit early so I parked in the back gravel lot which was completely empty. There are Reddit scammers urging you to use Parkit and other apps to find a spot when you go to the Bluebird, but at least on this visit (a Thursday night for a sold out show) there was plenty of parking in the free gravel lot and in the lot for the adjacent bank which allows parking post 4:30...plus across the street in the Hillsboro neighborhood. If you have to Uber, there's a massive free lot at Green Hills mall 2 minutes away. Entry was easy, service was friendly. It's a cozy, warm environment. Food was good-- I ordered a "Bluebird basket" of chicken tenders and fries. I had a couple of beers and a whiskey on the rocks (Bulleit). They have a solid bar menu, some good beers (but none on tap), wine, and a few cocktail options. All reasonably priced. The show was fantastic. I love that they enforce a no-talking during the show and no late entry policy. Acoustics are fantastic. Service is friendly. Bathrooms are even clean, lol. It's a Nashville institution for a reason. Gayle and I, along with Erin and Jim attended the April 30 performance of Opry Country Classics. The Larry Gatlin (and Brothers) were the MCs, with the Opry band handling the backup music, and Charlie Mattos doing the folksy "Play by Play", all live on WSM (We Shield Millions) Radio. Performers were Janie Fricke, Hanna Dasher, Moe Bandy, and Daily and Vincent as the featured artist. It was a great show! We had a nice 4 seat pew near the front, the sight lines (direct and via screens) were clear, and the sound quality/mix was excellent. Daily and Vincent (with the guest banjo player) were fantastic and I've already preordered their next album. The only minor irritation was Hanna Dasher shamelessly promoting her cook book (Stand by Your Pan), but even that added to the high quality entertainment value of this show.
