Nash Park Auto Body really treats your vehicle as if they are working on their own. They are extremely meticulous, and don't cut any corners. I've had other body shops tell me you'll never get an exact fit with after-market parts -- which is true. I've even had a body shop use OEM parts on my mom's Toyota and try to tell me the job is as good as it will be. My friend, who has almost two decades worth of experience working for auto body shops, and actually an adjuster for one of the major seven auto insurers in the nation, explained that an OEM part should always fit perfect. If it's sloppy, and doesn't fit right, it's 100% percent the shops fault. As per your insurer's policy, Nash Park will try to use after-market parts first. If they don't fit properly, they will notify your insurer and fight on your behalf to use OEM parts so your car will be perfect. They take great pride in their craft, and will refuse to return your vehicle unless it's absolutely perfect. After moving out of the area, and having either dissatisfactory, or mediocre experience with other body shops working on my family's cars, I decided to take my vehicle an hour away back to Nash Park. I couldn't have been any happier. From now on, I'm not taking my vehicles to the approved insurer's body shops; I'm taking my vehicles straight to Nash Park Auto Body, and letting them fight it out with my insurance company. Local shop---They seem to have a lot of business from dealerships on newer cars and thats a solid sign..Despite being busy--Owner came right out and rescued us after accident.They worked closely with our adjuster to make sure a top quality repair was done. and the car was done a few days early..Paid a bit extra for a much needed deep clean from an outside detailer that he recommended ...Also top notch work--5 year old car looks like the day it rolled out of the showroom ! I did not have a great experience with this shop. They performed my Audi's body work and met my expectations as the car looks good (why I gave them 2 stars) however I received the car back with new scratches and damage to my bumper and wheels. Although they were repaired at no cost, the car was not well cared for while in Nash Park's custody. I had to take the car back to the shop on two follow-up occasion as other exterior and non-body work details were missed. I decided I had enough and now the rest of the work is being performed by another shop with full support from my insurance. I don't believe that appropriated quality checks are in place here and due diligence isn't performed. The car did not drive well and braking was clearly not checked or tested before the car was returned back. The performance aspect of the car is not their specialty based on my experience. read more

Yesterday I was driving from Stony Brook University, located on Long Island, to Nash Park NJ to meet up with a friend. Unfortunately I experienced a 3hour delay on the George Washington Bridge. When I got to the large parking lot at Nash Park, I could no longer hold the urge to use the bathroom. I ran to the closest building which was Nash Park Auto Body. There were two gentlemen standing in front of the shop. I asked the gentlemen whether they had a bathroom facility I could use. One of the gentlemen replied, "What for?". I replied, "To use". He replied, "Where are you from?". I was about to reply however he cut me off by saying, "This is an auto body shop!". I replied, "I know Sir, I just wanted to use the bathroom", he quickly cut me off again and said, "Go over there across the park!". I was absolutely mind blown and wanted to reply however I didn't want to enrage the hostile employee. I have never been so ignorantly judged in my entire life and even now, a day after, I am still mind blown. Later after finding out that the shop closes at 5pm (I was there at 6:15pm) and judging by the manner in which that employee spoke to me while the other sat still, I believe that employee was the owner of the shop. Unbelievable. Thank goodness for the internet otherwise this vicious behavior wouldn't be accounted for.
