I'm not usually a saucy person in the morning, but this sauce is the exception. It is so good that it's honestly one of the main reasons I order from here. The salsa or sauce that comes with their burrito is also phenomenal. It adds the perfect amount of flavor without overpowering everything else. When I stopped by today, the place was unusually quiet, which honestly made me a little sad because it's usually buzzing with energy in the mornings. I hope they picked up later in the day because the lively vibe is part of what makes Cracked Eggery such a fun stop. The service is always great, and the staff keep things moving smoothly without ever making it feel rushed. Between the food, the sauces, and the usual upbeat ambiance, Cracked Eggery has definitely earned its five stars from me.

The eggs are sooo fluffy and so is the bread. Absolutely dreamy. I live for a good, crispy tater tot and theirs are the best! The amount of food you get for the price is actually pretty great too! Service is quick and helpful. The place was clean and seating is a little quirky but seems like most people just order takeout.

Three of our party of seven arrived at 4:21 PM for a 4:30 PM. reservation, an additional three arrived at 4:28 PM. The final person was parking the car. After confirming our reservation, the person at the door who greeted us stated - "I can give you a table, but four of you will need to squeeze  together on the bench". She walked the three of us past four empty tables to the back of the restaurant directly across from the bathrooms. When asked if we could be moved further up to the empty tables that she had walked past - her response was " let me check and see if they are available - she came back with " I have a party of five who have a 5:30 PM reservation so I can not give you those seats".  While we looked at each other in disbelief - her next remark was- " you will need to get up at 5:30 PM, because I will need those tables for the walk ins that we are expecting for the Boo at the Zoo event (interestingly enough -  this event was happening at the Smithsonian National Zoo across the street - the exact same event that my party was ticketed to attend after our meal - which we had reserved at their restaurant)". After the "you will need to get up" remark - which she later said that she did not make - we decided that we had been disrespected enough and left the restaurant. On my way out of the door - I informed her that in the well over 40 years that I had been making reservations for dinner ( and never failing to keep my end of the agreement with the restaurant by showing up on time, being courteous to the staff, and doing my best to be an all-around good customer )- I had never experienced someone telling me that I would need to "get up and leave at 5:30 PM".  This is when she said, " I did not say that" ( with two of her co-workers - who had not been present when she made the remark )- standing next to her. I walked out of the restaurant- and asked the two adults who had walked in with me if they had heard what she said - and they both heard the same nasty remark. After we walked out - she promptly cancelled the reservation. I am writing this review so that the record can be set straight - I did not just cancel the reservation at 4:30 PM. We were all but driven away. This was shameful, and I hope that this behavior will not betolerated by the management.

The space is on the smaller side, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, the food just wasn't for us. It wasn't bad, but it didn't really stand out, and we personally wouldn't return. The kids also didn't enjoy the ice cream, although I know it's a unique flavor that may be more of an acquired taste. One thing I did appreciate was what came with the kids' meal--it was a nice touch. Overall, while it wasn't a favorite for our family, others may enjoy it more depending on their tastes.

Absolutely love!!…read more Such a great concept, fresh burgers with a plush, toasty potato bun that your teeth just sink into perfectly. Crispy edges on the wagyu meat, so juicy. I tried both the original and the papaya salad toppings. Papaya salad topping 4.5/5, I love how crunchy the mixture is, super sweet with a slight pickled taste that cuts through the richness so well. I'm big on texture and this had all the crunch I was looking for. OG burger toppings 5/5, I love how the veggie toppings are finely chopped and tossed in their burger sauce. It tastes so delicious and you get a bit of every veggie in each bite, which is so smart and honestly amazing. I've always hated when tomatoes slide around or when you have to wait to find a pickle in your burger, this made every bite perfect. Fries were pretty standard but came with the same burger toppings. I wish they mixed it up and offered more Filipino inspired toppings or different sauce options because it's the same burger sauce that's in both the papaya salad burger and the original. It can get a bit of flavor fatigue. I know they offer other sauces for purchase, but it would be nice if those were included on the fries too for some variety. And yes, the ube soft serve is worth it. Yes x100, get it. So creamy and rich. I didn't realize how much I missed ube, oh my gosh. Aaand the restaurant is super casual. Only bar seating around the edge of the restaurant. Not a very good place to sit formally or invite a lot of people to because it's quite tiny I guess. Also had such cute art around the walls. The steak is definitely very low quality -- there were so many pieces that were too tough for me to even cut, let alone eat. Since they give you an extra serving, I had enough steak to eat, but it just felt like such a waste to have this giant pile of inedible steak on my plate. I got the Hot spice level and wish I'd gone down a level to get a better taste of the dish's original sauce. - Mango doghap: Reminded me of mango lassi. Not too sweet and pleasantly tangy. The desserts, though, were maybe my favorite part of the meal. All had the perfect amount of sweetness: - Kazandibi (Turkish milk pudding with a caramelized, slightly burnt bottom layer): Really liked this pudding. - Honey cake: Ugh the honey with the soft cake with the whipped cream = actual heaven. - Dolan cake (Homemade puffed pastry with Walnuts, Buttery cream filling, and a Chocolate drizzle): Also really good! Very different than the other desserts given the crunchiness and butteriness from the puff pastry and walnuts. Service was fast and friendly.
