I like it. It's the best cafeteria on campus. The grill is particularly good, especially if sooki is there.

The wings were delicious. I tried the sweet and spicy sesame flavor. It leaned more sweet than spicy, but the flavor was so good. The salad was incredibly fresh. I'm usually not a fan of kale salads, but the blend was amazing, and the salmon was perfectly seasoned. The sliders were also a standout! Cooked medium well and absolutely perfect. The sweet potato fries had the perfect amount of crunch. We visited on a Monday night, so it was nice and quiet. Food was also served quickly . The restaurant itself has a really nice atmosphere, and parking is validated, which is a plus. Definitely will be back!

The restaurant is located in the newer developed part of Hyattsville, and parking was super convenient since there was a garage right next door for only $5. They also offer covered outdoor dining, which was a nice touch. Inside, the space was modern and stylish, though a bit on the smaller side. For the tea party, the restaurant gave our group a dedicated section that was heavily decorated by our coordinator, and it was really nicely done, which made the event feel special that they allowed her to do such. Service was a hit and miss. Our waitress unfortunately forgot to put in our drink order to the bartender, so we waited over 30 minutes before finally flagging down another waiter. Thankfully, he was extremely efficient. He quickly got our drinks out, took our food order, and checked in throughout the meal. Once he stepped in, everything moved much faster. The food was excellent. The hummus was a 10/10, the lamb chops were delicious, and even the sautéed spinach was well seasoned and flavorful. The menu is pretty extensive, so there is definitely something for everyone, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Overall, nice area, decent service, great food, and affordable prices. I would definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

We were greeted almost immediately, placed our order and were given an estimate of 15 minutes. We decided to wait in the car because it's a bit chilly this evening but at just about 14 minutes our food was ready! It's rare you find a food truck that provides a proper wait estimate. The smash burgers were piping hot and topped with Akhs sauce, fried onions and pickles. We opted for one set of Cajun fries and Classic fries and both were tasty.

I appreciate the packaging and presentation of their burgers which is always professional consistent. The Bacon Double (beef bacon) is excellent accompanied by the Akh Sauce. The Cajun Fries are delicious, however, the cook is too inconsistent. At times, the fries are over fried. Crinkle cut fries are unforgiving, so even a few extra seconds in the fryer and you're dealing with more crunch than crisp. For the price and that reason, I simply stay away from the fries. The flavor is excellent, but the execution is too much of a risk. The milkshakes are also delicious, however, these aren't your conventional ice cream shakes. They are more on the creamy and airy side. I've tried a few and although delicious, the ingredient ratios seem off and the creamy texture and whipped cream leans too close to a frothy mix. The mocktail mojitos are delicious and refreshing. The customer service is OK. RECOMMENDATION: Order ahead at least 20 minutes in advance and especially on Fridays and Saturdays when they are busier. There were times when they were understaffed and ordering in-person was over a 40 minutes wait.

This review is for the food not the service…read more The interior gives off a nice vibe and they have a set up for a live band. I'm sure when it's peak time it's live in there so I'll have to come back for an event. Went around noon on a Sunday and it was fairly empty so we sat at the bar and were serviced immediately. Strawberry lemon drop - 10/10 - I love a good lemon drop but a I'll never pass up a flavored one. No notes. Shrimp & Grits - 5/10 - don't get me wrong it was GOOD but it was too rich/cheesy to me. I don't know what I was expecting in terms of cheese but I've never had soooooo much cheese in an order of shrimp and grits. I legit pulled a mound of cheese off the top and it was still too much. I couldn't finish this unfortunately, even taking them home for another day didn't work because I couldn't take the richness. Not a slight to them, just a no for me. There was a great amount of shrimp in the dish and the consistency of the grifts were amazing. Just need something to cut through the richness. My friend had: Omelette - 10/10 - said they enjoyed it and would get it again Side of bacon - 10/10 - you got 6 pieces with the order and that was solid to me. I'd definitely come back and try something else on their brunch menu if given the chance. It's a bit out the way so I couldn't see myself traveling for it but if I was in the area I definitely would come back.

People started showing up @ 7pm. which was $20 to get in. An AMAZING live cover band played at 9pm. By 7:45 pm, there was also a live DJ playing classic hip hop and RnB. That was such a VIBE! The crowd got really thick for the band, you literally had to push your way to the bathrooms. Bathrooms also need napkins to dry your hands with, instead of the nasty air hand dryers

When I arrived they asked if we had a reservation and we didn't so they asked us to hold. I was worried we wouldn't get in but was very happy they found space for us. I must say everyone we encountered were very friendly (a tad slow at times but made up for it with friendliness). Their signature sweet tea is to die for - the mint infused delight was so great it was worth a second glass! The milk and honey latte was a hot cinnamon joy as well. I ate the smothered chicken and biscuits. It has a slightly spicy Cajun sauce, I got to pick the style of eggs and I opted for scrambled. Good choice! The biscuits (2) were soft and the chicken and eggs paired with them well. The chicken was a bit tougher to cut so they should offer people a steak knife or something sharper than a butter knife to cut it. But that is a mild complaint because the dish was delish. I also tried the berry French toast. It was super thick and, while it was a bit light on berries, the flavor was good and so was the syrup. One of the two slices tasted a bit on the greasy side but I still ate quite a bit of it. I finished the meal off with a fabulous sweet potato bread pudding. I love bread pudding and this was my first sweet potato variation to the dessert. Me likey....me likey a lot! This is my new favorite bread pudding, hands down!

Gone are the blue walls and no more of the carry out feel. I remember this place had some of best bacon but you can tell the quality of food has gone out the window. I walked in and was greeted by a guy taking orders. His customer service skills were good. That was the only reason for the 2 stars. I ordered the wings and waffle, Belgian waffle and breakfast platter along with 2 drinks for $42 bucks. Not too bad. We sat at a table and the food came. Once again, the guy at the counter was great. He made sure to bring over our waffles while they were hot. That was the only part of the food that was good/decent, hence the second star. The rest is poor quality and belongs in the trash. The eggs were not real and god awful. The 8 wingettes came straight out of a freezer bag/ air fryer. TRASH. The bacon was fresh out of the microwave. I'll never ever come back. The food is that bad. If there was anyone standing outside needing food I would have happily given it to them. This place has fallen off a cliff hence the empty parking lot. It is a hard no for me.
