I came while they were having Wyland's birthday open house and that is a great time to shop and see Wyland and the other artists painting. They also have better prices because you are at the studio. Even if you aren't buying, you get to see lots of beautiful art.

We were greeted at the door by an associate named Lynn who was kings enough to let us know we were welcome to take pictures inside the gallery and there are QR codes beside the paintings that describe the stories behind each. There is also a second floor with souvenirs and smaller items for purchase. We had a nice time looking around and discussing the pieces, I'm looking forward to seeing what other art pieces will be shown in the future.

They had all kinds of price points, from limited editions to originals. I talked to Will, he was such a nice guy, and he was so knowledgeable about the art work. I ended up buying a beautiful piece by artist Fabian Perez of a Flamenco Dancer. I really enjoyed my experience and will certainly be back again!

I had found online with yelp's help that Laguna beach area has tons of art galleries and have great events including art walk. Taking the Laguna transit from my hotel, the bus stopped right before main beach (Laguna). And I crossed the street and right in front of me was this amazing gallery. (It was meant to be, my favorite gallery from my entire visit in Laguna) I was so impressed by all the artwork in this place. I was talking way to fast with the art consultant. Jamie (art consultant) was such a wonderful person to tell me more about the artwork. She truly is a knowledgable asset to this gallery. Jamie answered my questions, and told me more about the pieces I was interested in. The artists not only had amazing artwork but I really liked the fact that many were helping their local community in some way. It shows that this town has a great sense of being together and helping those in need. My favorite artist was Jon Seeman and his work was truly very unique. I loved the energy and construction material with a hint of science which was incorporated in his phenomenal pieces. I hope to buy at least one of his creations in the future. This might explain why there are so many art galleries on every street corner and alleyway, since it is just as beautiful and picturesque as everyone says. My friend pointed out this art gallery as we walked along the Main Street on our way to the ocean, and when we went inside, we saw some of the most magnificent pieces of art hanging on the walls. I found it to be absolutely fantastic! We met the owner and he told us all of the art pieces were created by Ruth Mayer, aka Mama Mayer! Everything was so vivid and vibrant, we were all blown away. The amount of artwork and detail was incredible. A truly special experience!

The detail work he pulls off at a small scale is genuinely hard to wrap your head around until you see it up close. I've had strangers stop me just to ask who did it. The shop itself is a whole vibe too. It overlooks the ocean which already makes it one of the coolest locations you could ask for, and the interior matches that energy. It looks sick in the best way possible. Everyone there is super welcoming and easy to talk to, just good people doing great work.
