Came here for a wedding recently. Thought it was odd that Google sent me through a 1 way street with the gate opened suspiciously. However, once I drove through the gate, I found a nice outdoor area, with great parking. The venue was huge enough for a wedding. Then, we got inside. The alcohol was served in a separate room with security giving us a stamp after checking our ID's. We have a corner for meet & greet with bride and groom, and a photo booth. The way out is so much easier. I don't know why Google didn't send me through this way. It was connected to the main street and I exited with ease. read more

Nice spacious and slightly dated venue to hold events. Their bartenders are the worse. Long lines outside the door throughout the night. No efficient way to run the bar. And they event shutoff the water fountain because "kids are playing with it" in order to sell water at the bar. read more

Finding a venue that has both an outdoor and indoor space available for you to use for a wedding is pretty rare when you also want them to be flexible with who you're bringing to cater, etc. As first generation Asian Americans, it was important for us to be able to provide a meal that resembled what our family would be used to from a Vietnamese-Chinese wedding banquet. It was imperative that we found a venue that allowed us to cater Ginger Cafe, which provided family-style meals for the wedding reception. But, being born here, we also wanted a more modern take on the wedding ceremony and decorations. The Napredak management team was very flexible and easy to work with. Highly recommend if you want an open blank space to allow the creativity of your decor team shine. Only downside was probably that our guests had a hard time finding the turn into the parking lot (pretty immediate on a fast speed lane, so it's easy to miss). Another thing to note is that, while the venue is very flexible with vendors/etc, there are some rules you need to adhere to (understandably). Alcohol must be purchased through the venue, they are (again) very flexible with the type of bar service you want to provide. They do not provide bus service though, so we had to add that service onto our caterer to provide at the end of the night. read more

Finally got the time to write a wedding review on this venue. We had our outdoor ceremony and reception about 2 weeks ago (July 9, 2022). This was the 2nd venue we booked for our wedding. We had to cancel with Villa Ragusa in DT Campbell because we had a bad experience with them and they didn't have outdoor option during covid. The only disaster we had was with the alcohol package that was promised to us before we booked the place (We had to get alcohol from them), but that was solved and the lady that was helping us before was let go...It seemed like that lady didn't know what she was doing and getting an response from her was very difficult. It would take days before we would get a response. After that, Vivian & Alicia took over. They were a bit slow on responding but not as bad...I heard Alicia was responsive from my coordinator. After we got Vivian's personal cell phone, then things went smoother. The venue rental and alcohol package only included a security, rental insurance, and 1 bartender. It doesn't include barbacks. It's usually the company who is providing the alcohol who needs to provide. So we weren't happy about this and had to ask our caterer to help with this. We also had to push them to hire a 2nd bartender for us for $250. We rented the entire venue out for the day. it was $7,500. Alcohol package cost is whatever you decide to put in. We put in $5000 and had to up another $1000 with a credit card during our wedding. They also only provide plastic clear disposable cups so we had to rental actual nice alcohol glasses from Stuart Rentals. So that was annoying too...Our wedding is 140 people. We were lucky it wasn't a heat wave on our wedding. It was about 80 degrees and it was perfect. We didn't toast under the sun for our ceremony at 5:00pm. There was plenty of shade by the time it was time for our reception at 7pm. We were thinking to rent a big tent for our guest but it wasn't needed. A tent would take away how beautful the outdoor looked. We were thinking for the longest time to drape the ugly bbq pit but we decided not to. We just moved out sweetheart table 90 degree away from it. Vivian/Alicia was very flexible to let us put 1 bottle of white wine and 1 bottle of red wine on the guest tables to not put so much strain on the bartenders and pour welcome beverages of ice water and champagne on the welcome table before our ceremony. They also let us do the ceremony and reception all on the grass area. We also draped a section of the indoor area next to the kitchen for our wedding party to chill in. They do allow outside catering. Both times when we went to check out the venue with our coordinator and do the rehearsal, they keep forgetting we had already set up the appointment for those and the gates were locked befroe or after we haven't left yet....But at least everything went well on the day of the wedding. It's a beautiful venue and you get to choose outdoor or indoor, but just the comunication is tough with them. You can also rent the venue by the hour and there's plenty of parking space for guests. read more

Came here for an event and perhaps this review can be only generalized to that one event but I felt like it fell short. The sound system was lacking as people in the back of the room couldn't really hear the speaker. The sound system was much better in the bathroom, felt like someone was speaking right next to you. Bathrooms were very clean though. But don't judge a book by its cover. Although the outside had a warehouse feel, the inside chandelier were actually very pretty. When I left, I saw that they had a grassy area - hope to check that out in the future. Overall, an okay venue. read more

When you run an event, you want everything to be perfect - so you rent a facility, decide on a good caterer, hire a photographer, hire an event planner, etc. While the mechanics of the process is tangible, the unknowns are the people interactions. In order for a successful event, it is important that the people you deal with have the right temperament. We can't say enough good things about Vivian, Karen and Jose. They were with us shoulder-to-shoulder to help our event go beyond expectations. The facility itself is very well equipped to run a large event. But with Napredak Hall I am completely disarmed. In fact, using this hall for my wedding (6/14/14) showed me how professional and hospitable a venue can be!! All credit goes to the AMAZINGGGGGGGGG Missy and the ever-helpful Jose who both cater to the needs of the bride and groom. - Missy (Hall Manager) - Missy - where do I start?! She knows the grounds inside and out, is professional in every way, speaks Spanish fluently, is SUPER prompt with receipts of payment so you know where you're at financially, and is transparent about all fees and charges from the get-go. - Cost and Usage of the Hall - All day (7am - 12am) came to $3,500 which, if you've been looking around in the bay area at other venues, is extremely reasonable! DID I MENTION WE HAD USE OF THE HALL ALL DAY! No stupid 4-hour time window, no moronic charges for bringing in our own catering like most other venues do. (A place I looked at in Campbell wanted $2,000 more than Napredak and for only 4 hours to include setup+tear down!) They also wanted to charge us $5 more per person if we brought in our own catering! WhAAAAAAaaaat are they smoking? Could've been way better. I had booked the outdoor park for my daughter's birthday party. I had originally booked the park for 4pm to 6pm slot and later extended it by an hour. Thanks to the management for accepting to extend an hour[with an hourly charge ofcourse]. Positives: - Park was clean and perfect for outdoor event - Parking area is very near Negatives: - On the event day, the entire lawn area seemed to be freshly watered and the lawn was very wet and soggy throughout the event. Our event had many kids and their parents weren't happy about the wet and sogginess of the lawn and preferred to stay in picnic-table area. I don't understand why they had to water the area on the event day. When asked about it, management person responded saying the lawn was watered a day before the event and the weather condition din't help in drying the water. We knew that was not true, as we were clearly able to see fresh water droplets on the grass and not a single patch in the entire lawn area was dry. There was no rain on the event day or for that entire week, fyi. Even if whatever excuse they gave was true, given the weather condition, why to water the park a day before the event ? to present it wet to the guests ? - Lawn area lights was switched ON when the event was almost over. The event was till 7pm and the lights were turned ON at around 6.45pm only. Summary: Overall experience was mixed. The entire outdoor space was perfect for an outdoor event, but we couldn't fully utilize it as much as we liked. We either had to keep standing in the lawn area, or had to go to picnic-table area to sit. Not happy with the way park was presented to us. Would've been better if they atleast acknowledged their mistake and reduced the hourly price. read more

We booked this hall for my In Laws 50th anniversary and I can't say enough good things. From beginning to end Vivian, Mary Anne and Jose made everything so easy for us. They are all so friendly and helpful. The hall itself is beautiful inside and outside. Its fairly easy to get to no matter where you are coming from which all our guest appreciated. There is also plenty of parking spaces to accommodate all your guest. Choosing Napredak for our event was by far the best decision we made. I had my wedding at this place and I can't tell you how much I regretted it! The owner was on my ass the whole night about everything. She bugged me once because the music was too loud, then she comes back and tells me that they are shutting down the bar because they are not making any money and she saw some of my guests coming in with outside alcohol. We had orginally agreed with the owners that we would pay for the beer. But when I walked into the bar I seen this guy, I'm assuming it's one of their staff, serving the beer in the entrance of the bar with a glass container labeled "Please Tip". I later come to find out that they were charging for the beer, so most of my guests thought it was a cash bar. I was so annoyed with them by the end of the night, that I couldn't wait for my day to be over! I would not recomend this place to anyone! read more

I attended a crab feed here and it fit the bill. It was a casual atmosphere and it worked. It was nice to have plentiful parking, a separate room for the bar, and a large space. The event probably had 400-500 people seated at long banquet tables and the room, although crowded, accommodated everyone comfortably. The bar got extremely crowded and it wasn't ideal, but I guess that is probably normal for events this size--when there is only one bar. I wouldn't think if this place for a more formal event I don't think, but it was perfect for a crab feed. They do a wide array of events here--- from weddings to BBQs to train shows. I've been coming to this hall since I was a very young child... A majority of Dutch Indonesian parties are held here and it accomodates a lot of people! My parents were in a band growing up (dad played guitar and mom played the drums) so the stage in this hall is perfect! I even remember nights when I would fall asleep on the chairs b/c the parties went on til late, lol. I was recently here for a 50th wedding anniversary party, as well as the Bazaar (a Dutch Indonesian event w/ tons of great food & live music). Unfortunately, I missed Pasar Malam, bummer. We had our holiday party last december 2018. Id really want to give this place a 5 star but i cant because of the bartender. The place is actually huge, parking is not a problem. Although many of us missed the entrance of this venue since is not very noticeable. It was a very good party until we started ordering at the bar. I last checked the pricing on this place and it was 3250 for a Saturday. Tables and chairs are included. No linen or chair covers provided. They don't allow you to bring your own alcohol but offer a nice selection for you to choose from. Outside catering was OK. The parking lot is huge and the hall can accommodate over 300+ guests. The best thing about this place is the kitchen. You can have full usage of the kitchen with just a small deposit. The building is secluded and well maintained with a manicured lawn to the left side of the building. There is a stage inside the hall with red curtains hanging from above. I'm not a fan of the red curtain, the worn out chairs and the red dividers inside the hall. There's also no private changing room for the bride. The restrooms look nice and redone. The staff seems nice and willing help with whatever you need so I'm giving Napradek 5 stars. read more

We will be booking this place for my sister in laws quinceanera and here are the reason why: 1) Loads of parking! No valets needed and no additional charge. 2) They can accommodate our huge party. We are going to be having 400-500 guests. 3) Separate bar room. It almost looks like a mini bar with tables and chairs for the men to relax at. 4) The drink prices are at a good range. 5) They set up everything and clean up everything! OMG 6) Their bathrooms are so nice and clean! 7) They provide security guards for a low amount per hour per person. 8) It has a full kitchen! 9) It has a stage. Excellent place for big parties or events! The grounds are wide open, and the banquet rooms are really spacious. We had high school dances here, which was conveniently located. I've been to festivals here and they are organized well. The eating area is great with all the shade and there is enough room so that you will not feel crowded no matter how many people there are! I just had my retirement party at Napredak Hall on October 11th. I searched on the web and saw pictures of it and decided to personally go out and check - so glad I did. Everyone at my party were all impressed and kept asking me how I found the place - a couple were familiar with it having attended functions here and had nothing but good things to say about those events and the hall. I liked the hall layout and also all the available parking. The grounds outside the hall are beautiful with tables and large BBQ pits provided - it would be great to have a barbeque here. The place is clean, with a nice bar, really nice, clean, beautiful bathrooms, and nice dance floor area. All a plus for me! Everything was set up perfectly before the party + tables for the DJ on stage and table that was needed for projector, plus tables set for caterer off to side - as I said, perfect! Kitchen is huge and has so much to offer if needed to be utilized - I had a caterer so didn't need to, but had to pay a kitchen deposit which was refunded back after the function. Just needed to make sure kitchen left clean. The staff were all nice and always there to answer my questions and accommodate my needs, I appreciated this so much as this is the first time I've done anything like this at a hall. They were great! Originally was expecting more people and only about half RSVP'd.- I was worried about this, but Missy worked with me on this change and I was quite satisfied and happy. Vivian was also helpful in answering some of my questions in regards to drinks. I definitely would have another event here and would highly recommend it to anyone - An important thing to me is the people that you have to deal with and the staff here were polite, patient, and so very helpful. Hello let me start off by saying the venue is very simple and pretty but some of the workers in charge of the place are horrible. I just had a wedding and I went over specific instructions with the hall. While their employee Jose was very helpful their employee abdule or abdula was the complete opposite, a nightmare I have never met anyone so rude and unprofessional. I had set up a bar menu with tab money I put down and at the start of my wedding ceremony he started questioning me on my choices even calling it and I quote from his words "tacki." Apart from that I wanted my tab to start 7:30 and it didn't. He should have done his job managed the event and made sure the tab started at the time I had requested. The icing on my wedding cake was when the event was ending, someone had brought in liquor towards the end which probably wouldn't have happen if they didn't open the tab early and ran the tab out. He not only harassed my guest after confiscating the bottle (not giving a warning just tacking the bottle and saying they need to leave the hall immediately) he had the nerve to come to me and my father along with my guest to my side and in front of everyone say with the biggest attitude "this is coming out of your deposit" and just as fast as he approached he turned his back an walked away. I heard he's always rude like that. Be careful and make sure he's not managing the event that night. Abdule made my special day a nightmare and I will never forget that. I do gotta give a thank you to Jose for trying to make it better. read more
