Had a Philly cheesesteak for lunch on a Friday. Pretty good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Clean and quiet.

For the price it is really a high 4 star review worthy. But, if I am to just go by Italian good restaurants it is good, not great. The bread they bring out for the meal is 5 stars. Or, maybe because it was the first carbs I have had from bread in months? The entree came with a side sala... no, I didn't misspell that. I did it intentionally because the salad was so tiny. Literally about 4 or 5 bites. However, the Caesar dressing was really good. My entree was the chicken Parmesan. The sauce is good and tangy. Full of bright Tomato flavor. No frills. The chicken was a bit rubbery. Could use a trip through the tenderizer before cooking. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Service was great. Attentive and polite server. Food came promptly and looked great.

We won't be back. First of all I had looked at the menu pics on Facebook in the afternoon. None of the prices were correct online, everything was 20% higher. They had posted under new mgmt on June 6, 2022, but they didn't scrub the FB page. The food was like eating out of a can. See comments with each pic. Nothing was fresh, except for the rolls they brought to the table. But the olive oil they served in a bowl was probably the cheapest they could buy from their supplier. They need to hire an Italian to show them how to make Italian food.

We've been to Napoli's a few times after locals recommended it was worth the visit. Each time we've been in, it has been a good experience. As always the service was excellent, it seems that the family that owns it plays a huge roll in the operations and they're all very dedicated. The bread that is brought to every table is one of my favorites of any restaurant. The salad that comes with the meal was fresh and pretty much what you'd expect. You can't go wrong with the stuffed mushrooms either. They have a great sauce, good amount of filling, and not swimming in grease like some restaurants. Our meals were both very well done and tasty. The Chicken Niccola was a nice large breast stuffed spinach, mushrooms and ricotta. The spaghetti portion seemed on the small side this night. My Chicken Romano was a home run, good ratio of ingredients to pasta. I have noticed that through our visits, the portion sizing seems to be very inconsistent. Aside from that, the menu is very large, which can be a blessing or a curse.

I was in Carroll for work and found Napoli's while searching for restaurants in town. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good meal after a long day. Fresh rolls and side salads were served with our meals. My colleagues are vegetarian and were impressed by the number of entrée options. They both ended up ordering the spinach ravioli. Another review mentioned spicy marinara sauce, so I asked for that on spaghetti, which isn't on the menu. It was DELICIOUS. The sauce had just the right spiciness. I could not get over it! I probably didn't need dessert after slurping up every noodle, but I couldn't resist ordering the crème brûlée. Although the custard was cooked thoroughly, it wasn't fully caramelized on top, so it was a little soft. I liked the texture regardless, and the flavor was amazing! My colleagues also enjoyed the crème brûlée and the cannoli. The staff were friendly and consistently checked in with us. We stayed for a few hours, and they refilled our waters and made sure we were taken care of, even after our bill was paid. I'm gonna have to find myself in Carroll again for Napoli's!

It's unusual to find such a gem while just passing through town but Yelp really saved us on this one! The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Their salad was perfect, lasagna, rolls and tiramisu all supreme. If you happen through Carroll, IA you really ought to give this place a try!

Stopped in on our way through town. Our usual Italian place was an unfortunate casualty of the pandemic, so we've been on the hunt for a new Italian go to. The hostess was lovely and the bread was delicious, but that's where the compliments end. The lobster ravioli was just over $12 which seemed pricey considering it only comes with 4 pieces and tastes/looks like a frozen seafood purée of some sort. The kid's portion of spaghetti and meatballs was bigger than the adult ravioli, and it was overly fishy smelling for lobster. The cheese ravioli was just okay, a bit underwhelming in terms of taste. We aren't in a hurry to recommend or return. The hunt continues.
