A great experience, from start to finish. We've been going to Dr. Sandor for years and highly recommend her office. One kiddo had two teeth pulled, another a standard cleaning today. The ladies at reception are always very sweet and thorough. I never have to wait long when checking in or out - they even complete the insurance papers and submit them - a service my dentist doesn't provide, so I greatly appreciate that. The hygienists are always very gentle and dr is always accessible and conservative in her approach. She has a very kind demeanor and her team follows suit. Always a pleasure! read more

I'm all for Dr. Sandor and her staff. My son has a sensitive gag reflex, and was very anxious about dental procedures before, but Dr. Sandor has handled him like the pro she is. He actually thinks she doesn't give shots to have a cavity filled. I was concerned about the office not filing the insurance claims any more, but was pleasantly surprised to have the necessary forms handed to me for mailing as we checked out. I have no problem paying in full and waiting for the insurance reimbursement. read more

I am forever grateful to this practice! I took my 2 year old for his first cleaning because he wasn't allowing me to brush his teeth well. The dentist knew immediately that something was wrong and called my pediatrician and I was sent for blood work and to the hematologist! As it turns, out my son doesn't produce enough white blood cells to fight infection! I may not have known, or certainly not as quickly as I did if it wasn't for this fabulous team! In addition, they have called several times to follow up with both myself AND my pediatrician! I am beyond impressed and eternally grateful. 5 stars doesn't cover it!! If only everyone was this good! Dr. Sandor and her staff are fantastic! My daughter (3 1/2 at the time) had to get work done on her teeth and Dr. Sandor did an amazing job. My daughter just had her checkup 1 year later and she said she loves going to the dentist! They make the children feel at ease. The best!! read more

As a parent, I want my kids' first dental experience to be as pleasant as possible - not like it was for many in our generation where the dentist was a drill-bearing, masked and scary person that's led us to dread dental work. Dr. Sandor's practice makes the appointment fun and cheery with smiling faces, bright colors, lots of distractions (books, tv's in each exam bay, video games and prize-vending boxes). The hygienists and Dr. Sandor always explain what they are about to do beforehand rather than diving in to do their work on an anxious child. Appointments run on time, the office is extremely cleanly, the hygienists are thorough, Dr. Sandor professional and knowledgeable, and I feel that the practice is always trying to progress rather than stay stagnant like many businesses do. The one weakness that I have found with the practice is with the office staff. I made an appointment three days before my dental insurance would cover the visit (3 days shy of six-months between visits) and when I called Dr. Sandor's office to inquire, I was given a very curt response by the accounting manager that it was not her responsibility to track the appointments of all the practice's patients. She was correct, it is ultimately my responsibility as the consumer to pay attention to those details, but I was unhappy with the unsympathetic voice at the other end of the line. I think they've since put a check system in place so that patients don't fall into the same unfortunate place I was in - having to pay the bill in full when we have dental insurance - but, like I mentioned, it is the consumer's responsibility (another review mentioned a charge to their credit card after their appointment - I can only surmise that it was the balance after their insurance paid Dr. Sandor's office. From my experience, that's fairly standard practice - insurance rarely covers the dentist's/doctor's fee in full. We sign a release at each appointment that clearly states that we will be charged the balance, if any.) Overall, I'm very satisfied with Dr. Sandor's office. I recommend her whenever someone is looking for a pediatric dentist, my kids like it there, I'm happy with the results. No business is perfect and whenever money is involved people get emotional. Just don't be afraid to ask questions before your appointment and if you don't like what you're hearing from the office staff, write a note to Dr. Sandor. She may be unaware that patients are turning away from her practice not because of her medical work, but because the face of her practice isn't up to her standards. read more

Dr. Sandor is such a nice dentist. She took extra time to make sure my son's previously broken teeth were still okay at his regular dental check up. All three of my children actually enjoy going to see her. She makes the experience so nice for all of them. read more

We liked the office set up at first and Dr. Sandor is nice, but the staff are rude. Watch out! They like to charge extra, weeks after and charge your card when everything was taken care already at the appointment. They also only give a 2 day notice. You can't trust them! read more

Dr. Aquino's assistant told me he received a direct call from Dr. Matt the day before I spoke to her. So Dr. Matt had the time to call Dr. Aquino, personally, to discuss me--yet he did not speak to me, examine me properly, or respond to the pain I was in. What exactly did he discuss with Dr. Aquino? 2. When I was seen in your office this month, I was still wearing the last retainers from the treatment Dr. Matt gave me. Nothing had changed in my mouth until I got the veneers--which is why I came back to you. I told you I was in pain. I told you my veneers had fallen off multiple times. I told you one was now crooked. And I asked for a new retainer to hold the shape from your treatment. You refused to help. 3. Instead of offering a retainer or checking my scans, you told me to go back to Dr. Mendez--a different dentist, who does not even accept my insurance, and would require another $7,000 in cosmetic surgery. This was after I had already been cut without consent, left numb, and harmed by another dentist. You sent me away like nothing happened. 4. And now--after all that--I'm told that you no longer have my records from "five years ago"? Even the IRS requires tax documents for seven years. You were my treating orthodontist. You have a legal responsibility to retain my records, and I'm demanding them now. I am formally requesting again: * A complete copy of my treatment records, including Invisalign scans, photos, notes, and billing * Documentation of any communication between Dr. Matt and Dr. Aquino * A written explanation of why I was denied help during my recent visit, despite being in obvious pain and still wearing your retainers If I do not receive a complete and prompt response, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Florida Dental Board, the Attorney General, and other regulatory agencies. Dr. Sandor and her staff have been caring for my 2 children, a boy (11) and a girl (9) since their first appointments at approximately age 3. My kids LOVE going to the dentist! All of the staff are friendly and the Dental Hygienists are very kind and gentle. Dr. Sandor herself is gentle, calm and reassuring to my children and me! Also, her office is beautifully decorated in bright, cheery colors and she has video games and books for the kids to enjoy while they are waiting, and movies to provide a distraction while they are in the dental chairs. Last, but definitely not least, she provides positive reinforcement for the kids with gold coins given to them after each appointment that they get to use in a bank of prize machines to "buy" their choice of a little novelty toy. It is such an incredible practice and Dr. Sandor is a wonderful, caring doctor. I only have one wish for change---that she would open her practice to parents/adults! read more

I love this office, the staff and Dr. Sandor. Everyone is warm and friendly with my son (who cried hysterically the two times he went) and the other children. The tvs, books, video games, pink and green scrubs and gloves, the prize machine after the teeth are cleaned! Everything is great and I always recommend them to others at my son's school. For the people who write bad reviews, why don't you try calling the office and get it sorted it out instead of complaining online. Yes, I also got charged several weeks after the appointment because they try to submit to the insurance company first and whatever insurance doesn't cover is ultimately charged to me. If I had a question on a charge, I would just call them about it and not say you can't trust them. That made me laugh out loud. read more

Why would you go anywhere else??? Dr. Sandor is not only the Sweetest person, she is gentle, kind,, very attentive, GREAT with kids!!!! That's probably why she is so suited for her profession. Every detail has been met when it comes to a children's dentist's office. A bright, cheery, environment with video games, yummy flavored toothpastes, fun animal shaped tooth brush toppers to choose from, continuious playing videos both in the waiting rooms and exam rooms, and tokens waiting upon your "pain free" visits for a chance at the prize box!!! And let's not forget the AWESOME staff, that always greets you with a warm and welcoming smile! It's a WIN WIN for both MOM and CHILD!!!! Keep up the good work Dr. Sandor!!! We love Dr. Sandor and her entire team! We have been to her office twice for routine check-ups and my daughter loves it! The assistants are so sweet and patient with their wiggly patients and the whole team goes out of their way to make the whole family feel comfortable. Further, walking back into the exam area is like entering a magical world. It is filled with bright colors, fun chairs, and fun flowers. Even if your child has a dental issue or is apprehensive, this light hearted atmosphere will help them to relax. I do wish they had more tactile toys in the waiting room for kiddos who are more physical, but otherwise it is an absolute pleasure to visit this office. read more

We love Dr. Sandor! She is very gentle & soft spoken with the children. Her staff does everything to make the kids comfortable. Our son loves going to the dentist and frequently asks when can he go again. They love picking out the toothbrush character and flavor of toothpaste. When the exam is over they get 4 quarters to put in the "toy tower" machine for a special prize. Our daughter is a bit more apprehensive and was able to watch her brother's exam to build her confidence. Dr. Sandor even checked my daughter's stuffed animals teeth before starting her exam. We are pleased with the care our children have been given. read more

My oldest son has been going to Dr. Sandor's office for the last 4 years since he was 2 years old and I just recently brought my 1 year old in for his first check up. My oldest is always excited when I tell him that he is going to the dentist. The front office staff has had some issues in the past but definitely has improved. Her dental staff is great and Dr. Sandor is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, kind and gentle with the children. I think her calm demeanor helps the children relax and she interacts with them very well. read more

My three kids have been seeing Dr. Sandor every six months for the past six years. I am extremely satisfied with her practice. We have been through cavities, crowns, spacers, a broken adult tooth, and even had to give laughing gas to my son in order to get x-rays taken. Dr. Sandor and her staff have made these events go as smoothly as possible, with a loving and compassionate attitude toward my family. I showed up 30 minutes late after being pulled over for speeding (annoying!!) but they were still very pleasant and even sympathetic! Even with being so late, we still were able to have my daughter's two teeth extracted with no drama. My daughter walked out happy and we both felt very comfortable there.
