Loved our stay here! Close to both Naples and Marco Island! Super safe and super clean! Great WiFi! Friendly staff!

Spent the night in one of their little cabins and was very surprised and happy with how nice it was inside. We had friends that stayed in the other cabins so we took advantage of the common courtyard area and we enjoyed the evening talking. The staff at the KOA was very helpful and on top of everything and we could tell that there has been many improvements in the past year. A fun place to stay and just get away.

Proximity to the Everglades and Naples is great--yet the campground seems very secluded and rural (which is nice).

The pool area is updated and they have a new hot tub that's very nice. It probably fits about 6 people comfortably and was. never that busy when we were there. I appreciated the shade of the tiki hut and we had our pick of chairs in the sun too. We participated in water aerobics at the pool twice during our stay and had a blast! The fitness center is really nice - a bit crowded, but they have dumbbells, bikes, treadmills, and weight machines. We worked out there a bit and appreciated that it was never too crowded. The resort has many amenities, including the updated clubhouse, kitchen, pickleball courts, and a small library. The resort is mostly older couples and everyone is pretty friendly and welcoming. The resort is pristinely clean with everyone taking care of their dogs and no trash left anywhere. The clubhouse is the main gathering area for nightly activities like bingo, Left Right Center, poker, dances, dinners, and other fun events. We played Left Right Center and bingo this time - we didn't win but it was fun to hang out and join some activities. They also have parties sponsored by big RV companies, pet parades and events for holidays, and more. The community seems very tight knit. Pelican Lake is a 20 minute drive to Marco Island and 30 minutes to Naples, depending on traffic. 45 minutes from the airport, it's an easy place to get to during the winter when I need a break from snow!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Naples!…read more I've had the pleasure of living at the Neapolitan RV Resort for over a year, and I can say with complete sincerity--it's one of the best-kept properties I've ever experienced. The grounds are always immaculate. Even after a recent hurricane, the management team responded immediately. They were out clearing palm debris within hours and had the landscaping crew on-site without delay. In no time, the park looked pristine again--aside from a few puddles, you'd never have known a storm had passed through. The amenities are just as impressive. The swimming pool is always spotless, perfectly heated in the winter, and refreshingly cool during the summer. The RV sites are level, well-landscaped, and surrounded by palm trees that give the whole park a true tropical feel. During the winter season, the community really comes alive with events at the clubhouse--live music, social gatherings, and a genuine sense of camaraderie. The guests who stay here are wonderful people from all over, just looking to enjoy life in this beautiful city. Location-wise, it doesn't get more convenient. The park sits right off Tamiami Trail East, directly across from a brand-new Denny's, an excellent authentic Mexican restaurant, and a Publix (with a liquor store). Also within walking distance are several other eateries--Chinese, Japanese, Greek, and a cozy little Mediterranean spot. There's emergency dental care nearby, a veterinary clinic, auto parts stores, and repair shops just up the road. When you head further into Naples, you'll find every type of food imaginable--fresh seafood, Italian, Brazilian, Cuban--you name it. Around 5th Avenue, you can walk from restaurant to restaurant enjoying some of the finest dining in Southwest Florida. Then when you return to the park, you can relax by the pool, play a game of billiards or table tennis in the clubhouse, or just unwind beneath the palm trees. You will not be disappointed. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the people who run it. The on-site managers, Dave and Lynn, are attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making your stay enjoyable. Whether you need advice, local information, or just a helping hand, they're always available. General managers Wanda and Lawrence, along with the owner, Bill, have also been spectacularly kind and supportive. I can personally attest to their dedication--they've gone above and beyond for me, and I'm sincerely grateful. The Neapolitan RV Resort is a hidden gem--a perfect blend of natural beauty, convenience, and community. Whether you're visiting short-term or staying a while, this place will quickly feel like home.

We are not campers, this was our first RV experience and Everyone, from management to neighbor were so helpful and cheerful and made us feel so welcome! ( and not stupid!) The place is CLEAN: the landscaping is kept up with planted flowers, the clubhouse is meticulously maintained along with the laundry facilities . They have a nice kitchen in the clubhouse that is used for parties and game nights. The pool is heated and has PLENTY of loungers and tables with umbrellas and a shade area. The Cove provides a yoga class, a water exercise class 2 x a week, and a time for gathering 2 mornings a week for a coffee and bagel time. There were dances and dinners for the holidays with amazing bands. Many of the RVers would arrange different outings to restaurants, boat trips, mini golf and beach days and we always felt welcome if we attended and no hard feelings if we didn't. There were game nights for the ladies and bags( corn hole) and poker nights for the guys. We had singles in all our events that never felt left out. And what a great location- many RVers had electric bikes and would take them all the way down town- beating the traffic many days! Lots of shopping within walking distance, so many restaurants. We found a wonderful church, Christ is King, 8 min away! Wanda and Lawrence are dedicated to the Park and the People! They treat everyone like family, and the park as their home Tiffany and Mike were the fill in managers and could not have been more helpful! The hospitality is A+ At Neopolitan cove‍

This State Park does a good job of dotting the " i's " and crossing the " t's ". There's hiking…read moretrails, camping, fishing, kayaking / canoeing, a pavilion, picnic tables, kiddies playground, and some interesting historical items. Admission is $5.00 per vehicle (maximum of 8 people), or $2.00 per person (pedestrians or bicyclists). I was on my motorcycle so I fell in the top category. I rode to the boat launch area first. This was a nice place to launch a boat or kayak. It was a protected bay like area. There was a floating boat dock nearby where one could fish from. In the same area as the boat launch was the hiking trail. It was closed (the park employee at the entrance had already told me) probably because of Hurricane Ian damages? Also the picnic and playground area was in this area. here. Restrooms are on site too. The next stop I visited while in the park was the historic Bay City Walking Dredge No. 489. This feat of engineering was used in the 1920's to help build the Tamiami Trail through the Florida Everglades. From the information provided, "Built in Bay City Michigan, this walking dredge followed the drilling and blasting rigs, averaging 80 feet per 10 hour shift. Dynamite was used to blast the limestone into small enough chunks for the dredge to lift." The road was completed, finally linking Tampa to Miami in 1928, with the help of this machine. For the mechanical and engineering nerds (like me), you'll want to see and read about this. Ha! I had a good time here and recommend you check this place out. I am going with 4 stars because the hiking trail was closed and the canoe rental cabin where one could also buy drinks was closed. Hopefully these will open in the near future.
