Bret and I decided to take a two day trip to visit. This KOA is very clean, well kept and family friendly. they have a friendly staff that checks you in. They even called to determine when we would arrive to ensure we knew how to check in after five. They have a small store, propane filling station, laundry, shuffleboard, dog areas, playgrounds, firepits, cabins, tent camping, boat launch. Even the full timers keep their sites clean. We had a blast visiting all what Naples has to offer. read more

The two women who work inside the office are very rude and answer you with a high tone as if they took part of their check to pay for my stay, I arrived as I usually do I greeted I said good morning no one answered me just to ask a question and in a very rude way The people who work around the place doing the maintenance are friendlier than the people in the office That's why it was better than what I did is cancel everything leaving that place because I felt that I wasn't going to be okay I hope they do something about it read more

Spent the night in one of their little cabins and was very surprised and happy with how nice it was inside. We had friends that stayed in the other cabins so we took advantage of the common courtyard area and we enjoyed the evening talking. The staff at the KOA was very helpful and on top of everything and we could tell that there has been many improvements in the past year. A fun place to stay and just get away. read more

Depends on when you come that the mosquitoes will ruin your life but when they'd i t, this is the best park. They are clean and stocked with what you need. And the location is great. Alligators call It home from time to time and so do some stone crabs. read more

Upon arrival or booking we were not aware that the water pressure to the park was poor. After calling the office they advised this was due to the city and beyond their control which is understandable. We had received text notifications that the water was shut off periodically to be fixed and if it came back on and it was not improved. (Again not their fault as we were aware) Then on a Friday we were notified the laundry facility would be closed for the weekend due to repairs. Followed by a text on Saturday that the water would be shut off for the weekend. So we didn't have water or laundry the entire weekend and the laundry facility didn't open for another few days after the weekend. Water was shut off at random and was not always notified or a late notification went out after we found out it was off. The pool was full of bugs even with the automatic robots that cleaned the surface and had leaves and debris on the bottom for our entire stay. The chlorine didn't seem very balanced as our swim suits became faded very quickly and has never occurred while at any campground we have been to. The "playground" was roped off and no notification that it was closed our entire stay. They did notify us about evacuating with Hurricane Helene and we appreciated the communication about leaving and possible flooding which we ended up leaving to evacuate. The Koa sent out messages to notify us about the status of power and flooding. We did call at one point to ask after we didn't hear any news for a few days and was not very pleasant from the staff about our inquiry if the power was on. We decided that we couldn't return due to power, and had gotten an email to leave a review about this campground. I left an honest review on our experience and had gotten a call from the owner stating to call her back. When I had called she reprimanded me for my review and was upset that we had left a negative review and argued that they had communicated and let us know each and every single time the water was off and on. They stated our campsites were not held to their standards and our children were running around and they allowed us to do all of this. They advised that we were not welcome back and if they had known we would leave a negative review they would have not refunded us. I'm shocked that a MANAGER of a business would call and not ask what they could do better or apologize for the experience. Instead she (the GM) called and advised that we were not welcome back. I am entitled to my opinion and review and this was my honesty. If you look at the previous and past reviews for this campground, many people arrive and were NOT aware of the water situation or construction at the time of booking. The KOA responded to my review and stated that we had not left our site to their standards, which we were unaware of until we had left. I'm disappointed by how a general manager acted on the phone as a professional and business owner. I will never recommend this campground to anyone and hope that anyone who stays here has a better experience. read more

We've been to this KOA last year in July and we honestly had the worst time with the bugs. I was very skeptical of giving them a second chance but I am so glad we did! Maybe it was the change in season (September) but this time around it was an amazing stay! The bugs weren't as bad, Gino was so helpful, and the facilities were spotless! Thanks again Naples KOA! Do not believe the fake reviews you see.Today we called koa to book one night as needed a base for 24 hours as travelling south. Made a booking on line and realized we were less than 5 mins away from the actual location. We pulled into what looked like a run down Trailer Park and called to say we had come early. They said wait in the road an hour which was beyond belief given it was deserted but it gave us a chance to see what we had booked and the type of people running the show and realized not for us as we have standards.So we tried to cancel just minutes later.They did not pick up phones.They Did not respond to us knocking on the office doors in fact the place was deserted and looked abandoned.We then emailed to say we were leaving and they emailed and said no cancellations and chose to process and steal $110 off our credit card. We called corporate KOA who stated they could not get involved as we were stopping the fraudulent transaction this KOA had made.They also stated each franchise was liable for its own business.It's not about the money now it's about having these lowlife steal $110 off our card. We are making people aware that this place needs to be avoided like the plague and we hope even if this post deters just one of you it's justice served but we hope many of you heed this post. We have created employment for 2700 staff in the USA and not once seen a company as rude as this one nor have we ever had $ stolen in this manner. A deserted park and they steal our $ it wreaks of desperation.Again avoid the location and save yourself $ there are alternatives close by.We are shocked at KOA for allowing this blatant theft to go unpunished but will be for sure launching a civil suit too as well as sharing our experience via social media and every site possible to create awareness to protect others We don't care what it costs to make sure they understand theft is a felony in the state of Florida.They may well respond to this post with 'We sincerely regret that you had this experience, and it's important for us to address concerns like yours. We are committed to making things right and improving for the future, so we'd appreciate the opportunity to discuss the details you shared. The staff is so kind and patient! Deborah and Kayla were so helpful when we were staying there in our RV and setting it up and moving it for the first time ever! (So stressful!) thanks to their kindness we were able to get everything we needed to done (as calmly as possible). I was with the kids and I was so happy for the little playground near by. They really tried to accommodate everything we needed and we are so grateful for their hospitality. We will def be back as it is safe, quiet, and clean. read more

My family and I frequent the Naples KOA very often and always have a pleasant experience, however the past two visits we have had to take an ice cold shower. Needless to say we were not happy. No one should pay $215.04 and be forced to take a cold shower. My family and I could have stayed at a hotel for much cheaper and enjoyed a hot refreshing shower. This is tragic to be called a campsite. It is nothing but a parking lot with campers and mobile homes. I thought I was going camping with the family what a disappointment. We had a last minute urge to go camping and wanted to go somewhere new but not to far away. The southwest coast seemed like the best option. We found this KOA and easily booked online for a primitive camping space. The check in process was easy and they escorted us by golf cart to the plot of land reserved for tent camping. We had our choice of site because we were the only people primitive camping. Some of the fire pits for the other sites look like they've never been used. The pits had weeds and grass growing all inside of it. This is by far a place more suited for RVs and cabin rentals. The area for the tent camping is a plot of grass in front of the staff housing which is RVs. You kinda feel like your sleeping in someones front yard, and you kinda are. It's nearby an expansive canal which the have signs that says it's a home to manatees. They have canoes on the side that seemed for rent. The firewood situation was a little tough they had a big pile of scrap wood which we had to make several trips to-from. We also had to buy 3 packs of firewood to have sufficient fire for our meals. Plus it was pretty cold that weekend. The next day we inquired about canoe rental and they made it seem like we had to go out only during high tide, which made no sense as you could drop the canoe right in the water. Plus the cost was 10bucks/hr- kinda steep. We didn't bother. The grounds is super close to marco island and not far from naples beach. We checked out both spots in the same day. The facilities were well kept the bathroom was always prestine. The Pool and hot tub was 24 hrs and very nicely maintained. Overall for the camping-lite crowd this will do. There isn't much to do at night or even during the day on the grounds. But for what it is its nice. read more

Great place, great staff. We were lucky enough to go fishing and saw a sawfish! Everything is clean and there is security that drives around at night which is an awesome bonus. Minutes away from Walmart and other restaurants in case you need anything you can't find at the on-site store. Laundry room is very clean and there were plenty of open machines for laundry. While we stayed, the property was being sprayed for mosquitos, which is helpful. read more

Way better than a hotel!!! Not only is it cheaper, it's beautifully kept with all top notch amenities. Our cabin was the cutest place ever and our kids had a blast being able to run around outside and play. I will never stay at a hotel again when we come into town. Hands down one of the best hospitality experiences we have ever had. And all the employees were super friendly and very accommodating. Loved every second! read more

This is an average campground. It is very touristy. You are not located in the woods at all. They have homes on one side (trailers) and cabins and campsites side by side on the other side. Our experience was not negative at all, but we were hoping for something more outdoorsy. We couldn't use the pool because we had dogs. The dogs did have a couple of square fenced in areas where they could go off leash, but they are small. Probably 15 ft, and has a picnic table inside the fenced in area. Anyway, no nature trails, and while there was a common camp fire area no one ever used it during the whole time we were there. We had to drive to nature hikes, which ended up being awesome and not that far away. They have campsites there and we were disappointed that we didn't find them on the campsite map to book them instead. We drove to Bonita Dog Beach for the day which was a fun and awesome time. Lots of great things to say about BDB!! Highly recommend it to any dog owners :) You pretty much get the basic camp site at this KOA (and probably all the other KOAs too). A small area to park one vehicle. Next to it is some gravel to set up your tent.... GRAVEL?? We slept on it the first night and immediately headed to Walmart to pickup an air mattress. We woke up hurting with little indentations every 2 hours. It was sooooooooo very uncomfortable. Who the heck puts gravel down for a tent/camping? And if it's meant for the vehicle, who the heck wants to camp on cement?? I mean my house foundation is cement, so I might as well have camped in my bed at home. There's a picnic table for use at half of the camp sites. If they were packed I would feel really bad for those who ended up without a picnic table. And then there's a small fire pit, and of course overpriced firewood at the checkin lobby. Next to all the tent sites was a swampy marsh area so you couldn't even go into the tree area to attempt to pick up fallen sticks or logs for your fire. Anyway, we are real campers who like to be in the woods and enjoy nature. This was not the place for us, but like I said it wasn't negative. It just didn't have anything to offer us that we were looking for, therefore it is just an average venue for us. read more

We camped here in a tiny travel trailer. It's a really cute RV park, that still feels a little like a campground. Our site was clean, mowed and spacious. ( but again, we're small). Staff was so, so nice. The bathhouses were great, very clean, well kept. The Pool & hot tub are open 24 hours!! woo-hoo, and they are both really big, clean and beautiful. The rates are a bit steep for camping, but that seems to be the trend, also their website doesn't just list the rates, you have to jump through hoops, which makes me feel like they make them up on the spot. Very basic general store on property, with odd hours. My only real disappointment was on our last night the noise was OUT OF CONTROL. Two different groups of campers were completely obnoxious and there was zero done about it. We live nearby so we look forward to staying here again, but once the rates go back down. read more

RV park is in a very nice area with plenty of shopping and restaurants all around. Registration was easy and when we arrived (after they closed) a packet with all our information was waiting for us outside the door. Eddie also spotted us and directed and guided us to our spot. Everything was clean and had a very nice dog park. My only complaint was the daily rate was $94.00 per night. We've stayed at much nicer parks for less than that. No trees nothing to make it stand out just rows of RV's. read more

My group was forced to cancel after our 21 year old chaperone could no longer come. When we called the first time, the lady was very rude and made fun of the way that I spoke. I use the word "like" when I'm nervous and she called me out in a very pointed way. It was completely unnecessary. We called the second time and everything worked out, but I would NOT recommend even dealing with this KOA. read more

This is a ridiculously expensive RV campground at $80+ per night (yes, that includes the "KOA member discount". We were packed in like sardines...pathetically small dog park.. clean bathrooms.. small pool...lukewarm hot tub. I hated that with our slides out, we were practically on top of the other people. Mostly have long term, perm trailers there- it was more like staying in a trailer park than an RV Campground. Don't waste your money!! read more

Right from the check in process everything was great! The staff were very friendly throughout the stay, and the cabin was clean and spacious. My dog, my boyfriend, and dog stayed there and we were comfortable. The check in process went very well, and the staff were very friendly throughout the visit. We spent a lot of time on our patio and the grill and anytime a staff member drove by, they would speak and see if we needed anything. We stayed here in the Kamping Kabin for two nights in February, 2012, on our way to Key West. The Kabin was incredibly clean. The row of Kabins backs up to a tropical forest so we felt like we were almost in the Everglades. The bed was very comfortable and there was a small, wall mounted TV and a little refrigerator. The bathrooms were so clean and wonderful. I give this campground five stars. read more

Showers are clean, friendly place,but if you are tent camping,prepare yourself mentally...the space they allocate for tenters can be compared to sardines in a can...literally. Very small sites both length and width. So small we could not extend our awing and barley our one slide. Sites are so close together that we had to wait for our neighbor to leave before we could leave. Park is run down with broken sewer connections, broken water controls, wires sticking out of utility boxes with plastic bags over them. This campground is very popular with Hispanic campers so you will get to enjoy loud Spanish music coming from multiple locations. This KOA is overpriced and under maintained. Again, very very small sites. read more

Stayed here 2 nights in January. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, only problem was when we were trying to rent canoes to use in the creek they weren't renting because of a "chance for slight showers" so disappointed. The Kabins are nice and the bathrooms are well kept but the price is too high for what your getting as far as cabin features and campground activities. Not a good option for kids and families who like to do a lot of activities. read more

Proximity to the Everglades and Naples is great--yet the campground seems very secluded and rural (which is nice). Campground was nearly full but very quiet.
