We booked our date about four months in advance and worked closely with the event coordinator, Róisín Daly who was outstanding throughout the entire process from start to finish. She provided a thorough checklist of how to prepare for the event, along with the materials they provide and anything additional we would bring. On the day of our shower, Róisín, Jennifer and Martin were all available to help us set up and ensure that the serving staff followed the timing of our schedule. The Gallery room was the perfect size for 60 of our guests, offering scenic views of the 1st and 10th holes of the golf course. Everyone raved about the presentation and quality of the food, from the appetizers to the beautifully plated main course. Following dessert, we had a couple hours to play some games, mingle, and enjoy ourselves. Our experience was truly seamless, with great communication from Róisín and a perfectly executed event by their entire staff. Our guests had a wonderful time and the feedback was extremely positive. Cocktails were served out on the balcony ~ delightful. Brunch was served buffet style. Everything was hot and food was replenished even before the serving dish was low on its offering. Salads, eggs, an omelette station, waffles, crispy bacon (the way it should be served), sausage, chicken, rolls, potatoes, and I'm sure I'm missing something, , were served. Everything was delicious. They work really well with all the different non-profits as well as the Chamber. The Nest is a great restaurant located downstairs and the event space is located upstairs, accessible through the other side of the golf course. The food is delicious considering it's banquet food and I feel like I always end up getting something different even though I've attended so many events and functions here. I appreciate the chefs constantly making sure that the menu is refreshed and it's not redundant. The staff here is great and the venue is clean. I am grateful to have the Golf club in town!

Most courses are pushing about $80 for 18 w/ a cart, Tamarack is half that. Played a dozen times last year and never had an issue with a bad cart. Yes play is slow and there's no marshals, but like most courses, it just depends on what day and time you are playing. Last year we were in a drought most of the summer, and everything was still nice and lush. Greens are usually in decent shape, and medium speed. Tee boxes are what you would expect from a muni type course, on the rough side, but you are not at a country club!! All the grounds crew was super conscientious about quieting their equipment when we were hitting our shots-very impressive. Even the head greens keeper was out checking practice greens and overseeing everything. We play the bunkers when condition allows, otherwise it's a free drop., imho most golfers should play this way since they can't break an egg, let alone hit a bunker shot. (PS: i'm a 10 handicap). Other reviews focus on the bunkers (lack of and sand etc.-condition-wise) but don't talk about how nice the fairways and greens really are, and just how challenging this course can play.. Honestly, for the money this course can't be beat! Otherwise, feel free to pay $80-100 elsewhere!

We hosted our daughter's baby shower there a few weeks ago, and while the setting is lovely and the…read morefood was delicious, the organization, management and service was lacking. Though the details of the shower had been thoroughly discussed prior to the event, on that day I found myself constantly have to ask to have items taken care of that we'd previously agreed to. Just a few examples: The mimosa bar was not set up and ready to accept guests at our contracted start time, and we had to frequently ask for refills of champagne and juice (as well as coffee). They never offered soft drinks to our guests. This made the event much more stressful to me and the other hosts (although the guests had an excellent time and enjoyed the shower thoroughly). I sent a letter detailing my concerns immediately after the event, but never even received the courtesy of a response.
