This park was amazing! I came here on a Monday morning and we had the park entirely to ourselves…read more My boyfriend is more of a skater. I'm a beginner. There's definitely a little something for people of all different skill level. I was able to skate around and try skating down ramps of varying degrees. My boyfriend was able to try out his tricks. The park looked really well kept. It was clean. No graffiti. No litter. The rails seemed to be well waxed? Well greased? I don't know the terminology. My boyfriend seemed to have fun, though! We will definitely come back and probably get some skate footage!

The skate park had its grand opening a few days ago. Apparently, it was too crowded to really ride…read morewell. I took a scooter rider with me today and there wasn't a big crowd. There were 2 bike riders, a few scooter riders, and a lot of skaters, though not inline skaters. The skate park is big but not huge. It is not nearly as big as Lake Cunningham in San Jose, but close to Granite in Sacramento. There are two bean bowls--no waiting. There are many street bits from the front gate onward, including a working fire hydrant, a leaning parking pole, and many rails and benches to grind. Besides the two bean bowls, there is a bigger, multi-purpose bowl with a spine almost splitting it, and a very good wall extension. They have bleachers on the side and a small tent-like cover toward the center of the skate park. Most everything seems possible to skate.

I am not a hiker at all! But went on a short hike in the early morning. Luckily the day we went, it…read morewasn't too warm. Trails are easy to follow. I did, however, have to make multiple rest stops because I was dying lol. View was gorgeous and the picture does not do justice. There were maybe 3 other small groups when we got there but we were so spread apart that we didn't run into each other. On the way back down, I had a mishap and my shoelace hoop hooked onto my other shoes hook and I took a nice fall. It was my mistake and not the trails. I didn't even try to fix my mistake because as we were nearing the parking lot, I tripped again (same reason) and I fell on the rocks right before the asphalt. We had a good laugh. The employee who was on the golf cart was on his way back and saw me on the ground. He kindly asked if I needed help but I was too busy laughing and embarrassed that I declined his help. This will definitely be a memory to remember!
