Check engine light was flashing in my truck at the start of my 75 mile commute home. I managed to…read moreget the truck up the hill, and called Ponderay Autocare the following morning. They were pretty stacked, so it was a few days before I could drop it off. In the end, I was quoted about $1,500 to replace the intake manifold, spark plugs and attendant wires. The repair took 24-36 hours to get the truck back, and just in time: It is our only 4wd vehicle and there was a big snow storm on the way. Well, a week later, I'm making the exact same 75 mile drive home and sure enough, the truck starts exhibiting the same symptoms for which I'd brought it in; engine misfiring, and check engine light flashing. I brought it back the following morning, and though it was another day or so before they could look at it, it turned out to be a bad spark plug wire and there was no charge for the repeat service. It has been running beautifully since. On the whole, communications here can be clipped and terse, but it also means no nonsense, and I've detected no underlying dishonesty from anyone here. They're very straight up, and very busy, which I consider good things for a mechanic shop. The business itself is pretty small, with two garage bays and a small, closet sized office. Parking can be a little tricky, and unless you know what you're looking for, the business can be a little tricky to spot the first time around. They're very close to the Hoot Owl Cafe, which is about a 5-10 minute walk down the highway, so you can at least grab some quality grub if you're waiting for diagnosis or repair. I live all the way up in the Naples/Bonners Ferry area, but if I've got vehicle trouble again, I'm driving the extra miles to bring it here.

The young man checking me in had me sign a waiver so I could have the 2 tires I bought( from walmart) installed in the front. But after 2.5 hours of waiting they came back and told me they couldn't install only 2 tires on my truck cause it is 4x4. I don't understand why,but ok, that's their policy. But they could have told me that right away, not after I had been sitting and waiting for 2.5 hours!!! They need to have that on their app and have their employees trained better. I learned a lesson today. No more walmart for car service!!!

The guy is honest and reliable, and if he says it'll be ready on a certain day, it is. My in-laws also take their cars here, and once they had their car break down after he had done a repairs - it was a faulty part apparently - and he came and picked my MIL up from where her car broke down, towed the car, and gave her his personal vehicle as a loaner while he fixed the issue. He is definitely good people. Having an honest and reliable mechanic on this side of the Long Bridge is a godsend. We're very thankful for Curtis and his crew, he gets our business every time.

Not 20 minutes later, Chris, I think....had called to tell me it was an O2 sensor, they needed to order it, be in in two days, come pick it up but give them 20 minutes because they were washing five states of bugs off her. He replaced the ruptured bag even though it took alot of work to get the Motorhome lifted with jacks without being able to air it up it was a project. Moses was amazing, great communication as well as shows up on time. Very knowledgeable and does great work. After he got us up and running we took our Motorhome to a shop and had all the rest of the 9 Air Springs replaced. After leaving the shop we got on the road to head south and found that we had several leaks in the connections where the new Air Springs were installed. We had to call on Mobile One Roadside Service again and AGAIN we were very happy with him and his company he came out and fixed all of the leaks. Now we are ready to head south and will call upon this company any time we are in need while in the area he is located.
