They're friendly and explain problems with the car clearly, giving me more and less expensive options. I've never felt they were doing extra work that didn't need to be done, but instead gave me a clear outline of their recommendations and the implications of a range of options -- from doing nothing, to using parts from one of their parts cars, to doing all repairs. I've not had a problem in terms of timing -- they are usually willing to look at my car right away and if it needs more extensive repairs, I tend to leave it for the afternoon or overnight. I see a diverse range of customers there -- men, women, older, younger, folks who know nothing about cars to folks who come in with questions about their self-made repairs.

When I got the agent's attention, I started to describe my situation when the phone rang. "Let me take care of this." Ten minutes later I was still waiting. When he finally got off the phone, he asked me why I was there, all the while playing with the papers in front of him. My problem was with the air conditioner. "We don't do air conditioners anymore." I told him I wish he had told me that ten minutes earlier. "We didn't get that far." Why on earth not?? I would still go back because I believe they do good work at a fair price, but only if Jason is standing at the desk.

Well that's ridiculous in itself. In that amount of time, I had gotten a jump from a nice neighbor, let it run 10 minutes, called the nearest Auto Zone, they have the battery in stock, DROVE the 25 minutes to store, found the employee I'd talked to, AND HE INSTALLED THE BATTERY!!!
