DIY Garage is fully stocked with all the tools you need and Dave was there when I needed an extra hand holding something under the car, or a second opinion. Air tools, odd-shaped female-hex bolts...he has it all. I love to turn my own wrenches and this garage is worth the drive from Manhattan any day! Already going back to do some more work soon. Great business, great service, warm heat on a 20-degree day, TV in the background. I was in heaven. What would have cost me 2-300 in the city was better invested in supporting this business and the pleasure of doing it myself :-)

I've watched…read morenumerous YouTube videos, and I decided I'm ready to try out some DIY auto repair, but I'm hesitant about using jacks and jack stands and having the car fall on me. Or what if I get stuck on a particular part in the process halfway thru the repair, and I'm now in limbo without being able to finish the repair. In comes Matt and his place (U Wrench It). For a reasonable price, you get access to his lifts, tools, and knowledge/experience. I went in to do an oil change and tranny fluid change, and Matt was helpful in assisting when using equipment and undoing bolts that were difficult for me to remove. Overall, Matt was very nice and personable. I really like his concept of allowing people to be empowered to learn how to repair their own vehicles while charging very reasonable prices. I will definitely be back to tackle on more repairs at U Wrench It!

Very unprofessional and rude Joseph Leo of the Asbury Napa was asked to look up a belt tensioner…read morewhen I asked if it was for the primary or secondary belt he informed me that there's only one but that's not the case I asked him to pull up a picture to see if it would show both belts and tensioners to ensure I receive the right part. I then asked him to pull the part he rudely said to me that's what I was doing before I was interrupted. Very poor customer service. I Told him there was no need for an attitude and his attitude severely worsened and he would not provide me with the parts or service needed. If I could leave zero stars I would. Joseph is not a good asset for the store.

The other shops either had no idea what I was talking about or had some outrageous offers like doing a transmission maintenance without changing the filter. Additional work done included spark plug change and oil change. JA Autowerks is about 100 miles from me. But after speaking with the crew there I knew it was the right place for my 2016 Audi RS7. From the moment I called them for a quote until I picked up the car, communication was spot on. Even with a bunch of people out sick, John the owner called me and met me when I dropped the car off. A few days later I was promptly contacted about the price of some additional items and gave the okay for the work. I didn't get to meet Jason, the tech who worked on my car, but I can tell from the craftsmanship he knew what he was doing. I'm meticulous when it comes how I work on my car, and it looks like Jason is also. Since I was so far, Nick took time out of his DAY OFF to meet me to pick up the car. Will I drive 200 miles round trip again for work on my Audi RS7? You're damn right.
