Wow, such a vast and creative menu! DOZENS of awesome apps and burgers, as well as plenty of other options. While I couldn't eat it all, I have faith that each entree is prepared and crafted with the utmost care. The restaurant itself was very lively and fun. For a Wednesday, it was packed! I went there on "House Trivia" night. I love House it's my favorite doctors show it loosely based on Sherlock Holmes. This bar also has plenty of games to keep you busy, including (but not limited to) pool, pinball and hoops fx (a fun basketball simulator) I ended up getting egg. Egg was good!

Politely trying to help, and set the stage for the next time I dined at Micky's, I went to YouTube and searched the official Guinness site, which has a video on how to properly draw a Guinness pint. She glanced at it briefly, then started to argue nonsensically. Yet another bar that can't be bothered to get it right and then argues about it. After I ordered a burger, she abandoned the menu on the bar top for a full five minutes. She was unfriendly until it was time to lay the bill on the bar top; then suddenly she transformed her meanness into a "please, may I have a big tip?" smile. No, you may not.... And I won't be back to this towny bar in the corn belt.

Drinks aren't cheap but also not expensive. Cheese curds (small) for $12 ... in NL seems high. $5 domestic drafts. They also have a big burger and tater tot challenge where if you eat it all you get it free. I'd not $35. Fixin to do it. The wings by the way come with NO dipping sauce. $12 for basic wings and you need to pay $1-2 for sauces. Place is a little weird. Run very cheaply. First day on the job bartender was rude and typical from my experience. Heard they are fixing to sell. Hoping new owner can take not to the next level as this place has potential but incompetently run and staffed.

It was my first time going there, so I browsed the menu and ordered a chicken bacon melt. After 30 minutes of waiting I finally asked the bartender to just close me out after a couple beers. The woman bartender had her stomach out all over the bar surfaces and there was clearly some tension going on with the staff. Even if the food did come out I'm pretty confident it wouldn't have been good. Will not be going back when there are far better options in North Liberty.

They are not big on seasoning which is fine by me as I limit my salt intake. The fish fried to absolute perfection. Chicken was juicy which is hard to find in most restaurants. Mac could use more mixed in cheese vs just on top but good. Coleslaw was outstanding. Yes, the lemonade is great. Different varieties available. The menu I found to be difficult to understand. It had to be broken down for me. Service was outstanding by the owner, kind lady. Plenty of parking, strip mall. I would definitely go again if ever passing through.

The space is cute and roomy enough to enjoy your food without feeling crammed--and trust me, you'll want to savor every bite. I had the fried chicken and catfish plate and thought the chicken was unbeatable. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The catfish was solid too, but I'd come back for the chicken alone. The sides? Generous portions and all the comfort you could want--just don't argue over them (or do, I won't judge). Now let me put you on to the real star of the show: the peach lemonade. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best I've ever had. Sweet, refreshing, and dangerously addictive. The staff makes the experience even better--friendly, warm, and genuinely funny. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like family even if it's your first time. Go here. Support them. Bring friends. Leave full and happy.
