It's been a while since I have enjoyed a meal this much. When you think of an Indian Eatery, you may think of rich aromas from a tandoor oven, vegetarian comforts like Saag Paneer, fragrant rice, and more. We came in for a drink during happy hour, but things escalated to a tandoori-fic feast! We ordered the Tandoori Chi Wings, Tandoori Chicken (Bone-In), Saag Paneer, and the Keema Lamb Noodles. All delicious, but our favorites? Hands down, the Saag Paneer and the Tandoori Chi Wings! This isn't taking anything away from the other dishes we enjoyed, but these two were fantastic! My only regret was that I didn't take a picture of the other two dishes; we just dug right in and started eating! The seasoning on the Tandoori Chi Wings was on point; ginger, garlic, and a hint of spice - delish! The Saag Paneer was velvety, garlicky creamed spinach with pillowy cubes of cheese. Yes, please! The Keema Lamb Noodles combined the comfort of stir-fried noodles with an aromatic punch of spiced minced lamb. And the Tandoori Chicken (Bone-In) is a classic. A great blend of garlic, ginger, and other goodness. While it was tasty, we felt the Tandoori Chi Wings just offered more flavor. Besides the food, the owner served our meal and shared how the food was prepared and what ingredients were used. He was gracious, helpful, attentive, and kind. I would not hesitate to stop in, try their happy hour, and give this new restaurant a chance to spice up your routine. We'll be back! read more

Food and drinks: Veggie samosas- good, we all liked them and the sauces Saag Paneer- very bland and almost sweet, would not order again Butter chicken- we did order it mild for my daughter, my husband and I would have enjoyed it a bit spicer. I also wish it was all white meat chicken chunks instead of flakes of dark meat and maybe some slices of white meat? Veggie korma- the most flavorful dish we had, all enjoyed it Coconut curry shrimp- my daughter loved this, mild, creamy and sweet Raita- bland and watery, skip it Sodas- Coke products that came in a bottle, felt like a gas station Beer- husband ordered the maharaja pilsner and he got an IPA instead Mango Lassi- literally tasted like someone ashed their cigarette into the drink. Was disgusting. Naan- good, but only one piece cut into fourths for $5... highway robbery! Rice- with four entrees we only got one dish of rice Ambiance: It was almost full when we went on a Friday night at 6pm. We asked to sit in one of their nice booths (that were all empty) and the guy said "no, we're getting busy and need to save those for larger parties" did any larger parties ever come? Of course not. Did they start seating parties of two in the booths after us? Of course they did. Service: The food runner was great. Our server was okay. He might have been the owner, who knows. He was dressed very casually and took awhile to get to us and wasn't super friendly. After tip our total was almost $147. Some of the food was great, some was disappointing, all of it was overpriced. Glad we tried it, but we won't be returning. read more

We always love when a new restaurant opens, and we are huge fans of Indian food. So happy this place opened! It will be our new go-to Indian spot in the neighborhood. Awesome samosa chaat? Check. Lots of naan/roti options? Check. Unique spins on classic Indian dishes? Check. We did takeout because family was in town, but we will be back and sit down. Yes, this is the first yelp review, but we were so impressed and excited to have this place in the area. read more

100% recommend Nanu's! Ordering from here is like a vegetarian's DREAM. Food is excellent, especially their cheese naan. Also their interior decorating is the cutest for a date night! read more

This restaurant is a welcome option to the south Kipling, C470 area! Once a former run-of-the-mill fast food chain spot, it has been transformed into a beautifully decorated oasis in which to dine accompanied by Indian jazzy music (no annoying screens) just music. A welcoming, attentive service staff, combined with a wide assortment of cocktails, wine, beer, including Indian beer, and a variety of other beverages began my experience. And, then, the food. The cheese Naan...couldn't stop. The tandoori bone-in chicken was moist served with perfectly crunchy sautéed vegetables, the tastiest I've had. Highly recommend you to support this restaurant. read more

The food is exceptional. We ordered garlic naan which tasted fantastic. The Saag Paneer medium spice was delicious. Finally some interesting food around here! Attractive and stylish decor. Staff is attentive, polite and friendly. read more
