I had the fish platter (12.99) and while good I really don't cared for the cheap standard restaurant options of flavourless tilapia or basa fillets. I would have preferred another option such as salmon. I had the peri rice which is a type of spiced rice and a side salad. The salad was good quality as it contained spinach , tomatoes and cucumbers along with the iceberg. They have a veggie burger which I will try next time. I also appreciate the variety of sides you can get including potatoes or corn. The peri sauce was very spicy and I enjoyed it. Great hours (close at 12am fri & sat) so perfect when its a late night and you are at a loss for food options ). Will be back soon to try other menu items. Can get busy here so try to call ahead. Took our order about 20 min.

One word of advice. Check your receipt to see if you paid the correct amount…read more I noticed later that the online menu and the in restaurant screen said 15.99 whereas my receipt said 16.99. When I confronted the cashier about it, he said the computer said 16.99 and it's the most updated price. If the computer said 1000 dollars, am I supposed to pay 1000 dollars? The agreed contract price is 15.99 and that should be that. Later the cashier went to the back (assuming to talk to the manager/owner), and he gave me back a loonie (technically it should have been 1.13, but whatever). This place chose to use metal utensils instead of single use ones. The knife he gave me was quite disgustingly dirty (see pic). The food itself was decent. And for the amount of food, the price is very reasonable. I got the Raven Platter. My friend's fish platter was also decent, but looking at the texture and color, we couldn't tell if it was cooked thoroughly or not. We chose to keep eating and hope for the best. I finished most of my food, but I couldn't really comfortably eat all of the food, not knowing whether the plate or anything else they used was really clean to begin with. I'll come back and edit the review should anything happen :/ We probably should have brought up the price discrepancy issue AFTER we got our food. Needless to say, not gonna come back. Quality: 6/10. Service: 3/10. Value: 7/10. Overall: 3.5/10 (Not an average).

This was my first chicken dinner at Nandos here in Richmond Hill location. I gotta say I would definitely come back again. It's quick easy dinner similar pricing as Swiss but way better! Looking forward to coming back to try out the rest of their menu!

These restaurant is vibrantly decorated with bright colors and has a lot of dine in options. I think this is a great place to come with little kids, because of them being able to accommodate small children needing high chairs. The service can be a little slow, especially if you are there on a busy day, but the servers are very kind! Now on to the food, for my lunch I had ordered a 1/2 chicken (Extra Hot) with Rice and Hearty Coleslaw. I was anticipating for this to be really spicy considering I ordered Extra Hot, but unfortunately this lacked the heat I wanted. Yes the sauces at Nandos are great, but you need a lot of it to be able to really get that flavor. The chicken is very juicy and has that charcoal grill flavor you'll love. Overall was a great place to dine in and would come again! 7/10 recommend!

Apart from the sickness the food is atrocious and nothing like the restaurants on Major MacKenzie Drive. I have gone to this restaurant several times since it opened and it is always atrocious, but I keep going back in the hopes that one day I might get food that resembles the Major Mac locations. Not only is the food bad but so is their food prep/hygiene. Be aware.

Decided to go with the Rotisserie as I prefer it a bit more moist. It was a pretty good combo... 1/2 chicken (standard size chicken not too big) with a ton of rice and potatoes and pepper sauce on the side. Chicken was done properly with nice level of browning of the skin and subtle flavour. They leave the flavour to you as it is on the side unlike other places where it is basted on. Even though it was well done, it was not dry at all and extremely flavourful - even without their delicious piri piri sauce (which I highly recommend, wish I could eat that by the spoonful lol). They also got French fries, potatoes, side salad and leitao. I personally do not eat pork (I know, shocking) so I am unable to comment on the taste but by the moans and ZERO leftovers left, I would say it was a "hit". Good Portuguese chicken place!…read more They have 2 types of chicken: Rotisserie and Grilled. Grilled is supposed to be drier, but more flavourful, so I got that option! 1/4 Chicken + 2 sides was $9 and I couldn't finish it! Girl who was behind the counter piled it on. I'm not complaining as I had leftovers! She also gave me a "sweet" sauce which was more sour, vinegary and garlicky. It tasted really good! Chicken and potatoes were flavourful. Rice was a bit dry, but ok. My BIL got a container of Bacalhau ($8) and that tasted good, freshly made. Initially, the girl put it on a plate and it was A LOT of food. So he opted instead for a smaller container. There is seating, street parking only, so I'm guessing it's more of a takeout place. It was clean though, so if you're hungry, you can dine-in. My only complaint was that they should work on their menu. There's only a posted menu for their sides. Otherwise, it's a takeout menu with M-F specials, so prices weren't very clear. Great bang for your buck though as lunch for 2 ppl was under $20, taxes in!
