First off, staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Feel really taken care of here. We had a big group and they arranged all the tables. Was not too busy when we arrived on a Sunday at 4pm. Some really good deals on pasta this particular Sunday as they were $12 each came with a good portion of pasta, salad and breadsticks. Good value! We also had pizza, but I didn't take any photos of that. My favorite pasta was the eggplant Parm, as it was nice and crispy and flavorful. I never had Nancy's deep dish before and was glad to have tried it. Sausage and peppers was really good. I think Nancy's has good value and the staff is excellent. read more

We came here with a large group for an early weekend meal. The service was outstanding,.very attentive and ensuring that you have everything that you need. The space looks more updated than what I've seen in photos so that was nice. The menu has a lot of variety from appetizers, to pizzas and pastas. They have daily specials and we happened to come on the pasta dinner special day. For $12 you got a pasta entree and also a side salad- which was quite large. The deep dish pizza does take about 45mins to make as orders are made to order. The pizza has a good crust to topping to sauce ratio, with not an overwhelming amount of sauce. The pastas are good too with a hefty portion for their daily specials. The pasta is a little past Al dente so not very al dente. Substantial, but fully cooked. Sometimes the other places have slightly doughy crusts. Not here. Maybe there's something magic about the old ovens. If you're a fan of sausage, get the Nonna's Special. This is what pizza was meant to be: sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper and tons of mozzarella, all in the right balance. Add in a pitcher of Killian's Red, and you're set. Except you're not. I don't usually get dessert at a pizza joint, but try the cannoli. Seriously. Try the cannoli. Made fresh, not sitting in a case. Crispy shell. Creamy filling. Warm on the ends. Cold in the middle. This is a taste and texture combination. We've done takeout a lot, but do yourself a favor and eat at the restaurant for the hottest, gooiest, crunchiest experience. The stuffed pizza was great, The food itself is 4/5. I would rank it higher than Lou's. For takeout I would recommend. However, the inside is a much different story. The service was pretty bad. The waiter and waitress were blatantly both on their phones watching TikTok when we needed refills or the check. Neither were friendly and both were bad at their jobs frankly. The guy who I believe is the owner was very nice on the other hand. Unfortunately we were stuck with the two waiters and we weren't too happy with them. I remember having Nancy's about 15+ years ago when my parents lived close by in Glenview. I can't recall what I didnt like at the time, but the fact that its been this long since I had it again is some indication. Having now moved out of state and back in for work, I wanted a deep dish. Also just landing in Ohare and starving, this was on my way to the hotel. I ended up dining in, which was odd; as they somehow assume that most people or at least a single person coming in a pickup order. So there was some delay in getting a menu and a seat. I ended up showing up on a day when they offer 1/2 pizza, I believe only thin crust. SO I ordered a small thin and a small pan. The thin was awful. I am talking Chicago pub pizza, so no NY influence in play. I could have stayed by ORD and had a better pub pizza at a dozen other places. It was a way undercooked (see pic). Pan pizza was slightly better, but also undercooked and looked and tasted just like a frozen Genos East I could grab at my local grocery chain for $11. Part of it is also due to it being undercooked, but the dough was flavorless. I am sorry, but either this was a day off for the kitchen staff or this place just fell off the cliff on quality. read more

I saw something about Nancy's Pizza on TikTok. Someone complained that the crust was too crispy, and I scoffed. There's no such thing. As it happens, the one in Niles is closer to Roger's Park, so I trekked out that way. I ordered an extra thin crust with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon...because I am a bastion of health. First off, the pizza was excellent. Sauce, toppings, cheese were all on point. The crust could've been crispier for me, but I did get mine to go, so that could account for some of it. Every time I come into the Glenview area I try to get myself and others to Nancy's A small restaurant in a strip mall beckons try me try me. I am so glad I responded and tried it. It is a causal neighborhood Italian restaurant. The service is great. It is what you would expect in a mom and pop type neighborhood restaurant. My friend from Sweden said it was the best lasagna he had had in years. When I have a pizza here it is alway outstanding. This last trip I had the Italian beef sandwich. If you know anything about Chicago food the Italian beef sandwich is an art form. So you either have to do it right or you shouldn't do it. Their Italian beef was awesome! The beef was seasoned perfectly, juicy, tender ahhhhhh. The roll it came on was amazing. Give me a Peroni and let's call it a day. I've been coming to this Nancy's Pizza since I was a little, little kid and I'm 35 now. It was a staple restaurant in my family and we used to come here all the time for birthdays, anniversaries... basically any type of celebration. I recently visited for the first time in a while and everything was the same! It was so great. I've always loved their salad bar (especially the little pizza bread up top) and their pizza and pasta. My wife went with a thin vegetarian pizza with mushrooms, zucchini, eggplant and broccoli with no cheese. Monday's are half off thin pizzas! Def worth it! Let's start with the stuffed. Came out pipping hot. Just how I like it! Dough was buttery and crispy and sauce was very light and tasty. Lots of cheese and there are no complaints about that. Nancy's is a great staple pizzeria in the area. They may have an old and dingy looking dining area but their hospitality, service and quality of food make up for the dining area. The pizzas, albeit not your local pizza but or Domino's pricing, the food is also premium to the carry out pizzerias. Their thin crust pizzas have to be, by far and large, their best choice of crust. When dining in, they also have a full service salad bar to compliment your entrees. One last thing to note, they have half price off all of their pizzas on Mondays. Definitely a treat since their food, namely their pizzas, are just that good. read more
