Lobster roll and fries
Dayvone S.

We don't have to wait. The restaurant was busy. Our table and menu's was sticky. The waiter was nice and friendly. He made sure our food came out when it was hot. I ordered the hot lobster roll which came with coleslaw and fires. The lobster roll was good with too much butter. The coleslaw was not seasoned and dry. I should have asked for butter on the side. My dinner mate ordered fish tacos. She said it was okay. It was noisy inside the restaurant shower we were able to have a conversation.

We stopped here to dine. It's upstairs located. We were sat by the door and I requested a change of tables. We were met by Virginia and she was nice. We placed orders and I got wings. Or ordered a soda as well. My wings were good by the fries were flavorless.

My family and I decided to dine here for dinner. Hostess was nice and immediately greeted us. Our server was Virginia. I ordered the lobster roll and fries. The lobster roll was good, the fries were not good at all. For my beverage I ordered a virgin strawberry pina colada which was very good. We also got an order of wings which were really good!!

Grilled fish tacos

Another great meal and view at Nancy's !!! And don't forget to stop by Donovan's for a great drink. Upstairs menu is great too. We had grilled fish tacos and Mediterranean platter

The food is amazing. But the service I received from the hostess was absolutely horrible. There were 2 hostesses and they were rolling their eyes at me talking about me while I was standing right there, I didn't even do anything. I went in on my own by myself and asked if they had a table for 6. So I thought that was weird. Our waitress was super nice! But those hostesses legit need to be fired. Eye rolling talking about me right there and then they were on their phones when I had a question and couldn't even be bothered to look up at me. Also the bathrooms were so bad I can't even explain. Just disgusting bathrooms for a place that's $50+ a person. Food is great and the views are amazing. Just beware of some mean staff and bathrooms!

Had some time to kill before meeting a friend at the ferry and really pleased to have chosen Nancy's over the plethora of other spots on the strip! I was a little hesitant given the ratings but I have no regrets. You order at the window and pick up your food so not much service to speak of, but the cashier's were nice and helpful and the bartender crushed it. I had a banana mudslide concoction that was absolutely delicious and perfect on a warm late summer day. I will almost always go for a lobster roll (warm with butter, please) and this time was no different. Price was on par with what you'd expect for a lobster roll on the island and the portions were more than I expected, a lovely surprise. Tables were clean and I snagged a picnic table with a view of the water. Needless to say I was happy as a clam and would absolutely come back.

Mudslide & dirty banana

Caught them on their last day of the season with great service & ambiance! Definitely sit upstairs outside and get the mudslides!

Nancy's upstairs bar

The boiled seafood plate was exceptional! And our server Griffin nailed it! Cold beers, on time and a great recommendation for dessert. Nothing but a great dining experience.

Warm lobster roll, cold lobster roll, fish and chips, calamari

Was a very quick and easy stop to eat! Would definitely recommend getting your lobster roll here!

Dirty Banana

Came here for lunch. Had the lobster roll since it was recommended to me. Tasted good. I love lobster rolls especially when the flesh is plump I'm disappointed by the side salad though. I thought it would be like arugula plus spinach, etc but it was just ice berg lettuce chopped up. Service was prompt and friendly and I'm glad O came here before it got all busy. I also go the dirty banana. Warning: I have a habit of finishing my food and forgetting to take a pic. I took a pic nearly 3/4 of it done. Delicious

Small whole belly fried clams

Was on Martha's Vineyard and decided to try Nancy's. I ordered the small whole belly clams and I must tell you they were among the best I've ever had. They were huge and flavorful will large bellies.

Excellent shrimp tacos! The seafood was very fresh, and the vibe was great! For a packed house, I thought the service was very good as well!

Falafels were unfortunately stale. The tartar sauce was not in house and commercial sauce from Kens. Calamari was good.

We had the fish and chips and mudslides! The fish was cooked perfect, tender & flaky. Best mudslides on the island!

Thanks to yelp, I stumbled upon the shuck shack... easy to mix so check out the photos! This place has a true New England feel, with great views for people watching and beautiful scenery of the water and boats. The environment is very lively and they have a selection of raw and cooked seafood. I took a seat at the few stools at the bar, ordered a drink, clams, and shrimp. The shrimp were large and delicious! I also liked option to order half or full dozen. The clams, to my surprise, were shucked right in front of me.. great touch but word of advice.. don't make my mistake. There is a RAW section and COOKED section on menu and yes to my surprise, I accidentally ordered calms from the raw menu.. never knew raw clams were a thing ::cringe:: and after one try- definitely not a win for me. However! This place is a must, a true Vineyard experience with friendly servers and great views!!

The clams I had were steamed to perfection and the shrimp cocktail had huge shrimp in them. Their prices overall are very, very reasonable. But what makes it so special is the atmosphere. A great value for your money.

They even grilled a plain /no salt breast of chicken for our puppy too! Everything was delicious!! The fries that accompanied the sandwiches were out of this world! The next thing you'll notice is that the staff is very friendly and really trying to manage the chaos that is being caused by a chaotic kitchen. We were seated directly in-front of the kitchen, so we saw everything: - two or three wait staff anxiously waiting for orders in front of the service station (pick-up) area; - a chef continually looking at an inappropriate movie that was playing on a screen that was oddly positioned where the kitchen staff could view it (WHY) - a kitchen staff that was either doing nothing or working frantically - this is an indication of very poor management; - mediocre appetizers but passable - the entrées were ridiculously poor. I'll only describe mine to save time, but trust each of four were failures. The nerve to send to the table a beautiful piece of blue fin tuna that smelled like the gas used by a small propane gun, that had been partially burned - like on 1/2 of the fish. This shows zero respect for this beautiful creature or the people who ordered it. The lobster risotto that was beneath the fish was cold, lacked any flavor of lobster, and looked as though it had been thrown on the plate from across the room, and then to have the nerve to charge $60 + dollars is ridiculous. We of course requested to speak with the manager, who immediately came to our table, empathized and apologized, we felt heard. He then comped our entire meal which was very generous and appreciated. The chef then came over to apologize, and stated, "I'm so sorry, we dropped a pan and that threw everything off". WHAT? Buddy, we sat there and watched the chaos in your kitchen. The problemS, are not the result of a dropped pan. Apology appreciated, lame excuse was unnecessary and again demonstrated a lack of respect or intelligence. I may return alone, just to see if anything has changed or what show is on the TV.
