This is my third time coming to 123 Farms for their Lavender Festival! I've come twice before for…read moretheir preseason events and then post season, after their lavender has bloomed. I think I'd much prefer not paying for parking or for admission! I'm writing this review after attending their Mother's Day weekend preseason festivities. Parking is paid for alongside your admission ticket. It was free on Mother's Day as long as you paid for parking. It wasn't room bad, but the gravel and dirt road isn't friendly, so beware. There are plenty of things to do while at the farm. They have plenty of food and fun things for the lavender festival. The Farm itself has a hotel, sourdough area, perfume class, a matcha room, and two bars you can sit and drink in. I'm giving it the stars that I am because I'm not a fan of their food. Their drinks here are decent, but I feel as though the workers here are burnt out. It's definitely packed on every corner with a lot of people. Even when taking photos with the lavender, it's busy and a bit overwhelming. It is a lovely concept overall, and a nice experience away from the busy city.

We also got to explore the grounds and found some cool shops and the place called The Courtyard. Also got some yummy matcha in the Matcha room. A fun spot for families and kiddos to run around and explore. It's giving Bridgerton vibes.Definitley will be back soon for future events!

I visited this country store after apple picking since my friends and I were craving apple cider…read moreand my experience here was pretty good. The apple cider was good, but I would've preferred it to be colder and not served in a Styrofoam cup. I'm assuming that's because it was the end of the day and it looked like they were running out of apple cider and other materials. I also got the apple cider popsicle for $2 which was a good deal. It was good, but I didn't like how the juice separated from the water during the freezing so it tasted like regular ice by the time I got to the core of the popsicle. For food, I tried their Strawberry Banana Sweet Bread and that was my favorite thing! It was not too sweet and moist. It was $6.50, but not too bad for a whole loaf. The interior was fun and rustic. There are several things to shop for from different baked goods to nic nacs. The service here was pretty good and the staff seemed nice and personable. There's some parking out front as well as some picnic benches and tables with nice views of the mountains and foliage while you enjoy your treats. Overall, a good stop for some casual shopping and to enjoy a sweet treat if you're ever in the Oak Glen area.

The staff was so nice and friendly made me miss home. The. Christmas jam was delicious and now my favorite. I was worried they weren't going to have winesap apples since it wasn't apple season but I was so happy they had them. I was able to bring back a bag to Hawai'i with me in my carry one. If you like varieties of apples this is the place to go to. They give you slices to try and it's so hard to pick which one because they all taste so good. Mahalo and A Hui Hou.

Prior to us walking in the store she was laughing and giggling and explaining how a very lovable clock she had in her store worked, to some people in her store. (The people were white) When I asked her about the clock and how it worked it was like pulling teeth. My boyfriend and I kept going about our business and he happened to see this cute stuffed animal that had the option of playing a song when you pressed its little hand. He pressed it and when it started playing the song, we both laughed. The whole time she was staring at us like if we were some kind of criminals an immediately turned off the song. My boyfrienf and I dismissed the incident and we continued looking at all the other stuff in the shop. We came upon a zippered sweater that my boyfriend and I liked and wanted to purchase because he forgot his and it was chilly in Oak Glen today. There was 4 folded sweaters and one was not folded so as anybody would he grabbed the one that was not folded and started looking at it. When we were standing there deciding if we should purchase the sweater or not she went straight to us asking us what we wanted. My boyfriend proceeded to inform her he was deciding if he was going to purchase the sweater and she flat out told him he can leave the sweater right there where he found it and told him she will fold it. Assuming he was the one that had unfolded the sweater. We immediately left. I did come back into the store to ask her if she was the owner and she confirmed she was. I normally don't share stories like this but this time it was different. It sad that even in our own back yard we still deal with prejudice and racism. I hope you share my story so people like her know that people like me have a voice. If you ever happen to visit Oak Glen California be cautious when walking in this store as you might experience something similar to my boyfriend and I.

I am a part of an interracial couple and I had no problems whatsoever. The store was busy and the owner and the other woman that worked there were wonderful and treated us with respect and were very friendly.
