While the times are unprecedented, the method of customer service chosen by Decor8 was that of delay and lack of clarity: - Two points that seemed to be cover-up scenarios. "I just spoke to the installer and he'll be there within an hour"...he was on site already. - Higher than normal charges on the second bill appeared with deceptive grouping / lesser detail on bill line items. After review, under-scoping by decor8 on the first install was added into a second separate purchase. An item that surely could have been managed between the parties at the time of the initial overrun. - The delay was so much and communication so poor so that we genuinely reported the last installment as potential fraud In addition to customer service, it's important to note that, now, several months later, we're facing our third large quality issue. The reality of home improvement these days is nuanced customer requests and long lead times. These two components can be properly managed but low levels of customer service have turned a potentially transformational install into a large liability.

She admitted that she had help from a professional interior designer and gave me Tina's email address. Tina worked with me to figure out what my goals were via a detailed questionnaire, what my style is, and helped me figure out what I like and don't like. I sent her a list of ideas and examples and she somehow turned my hodgepodge of ideas into a reality that came together beautifully. There was no way I could have ever gotten my home to the place it is now by myself. Having never used an interior designer before, I had no idea how much a room could be transformed.
