Not pushy. But here are the negatives, and why I probably won't be back: - WAY too expensive for my blood. They seemed HIGHLY over-priced. HIGHLY. I'm sorry but i'm not paying $700 for your dresser that I could pickup at a resale store for $100 and re-finish myself for under a $100. It's outrageous. - Small. I guess based on what I'd seen/heard, i expected more. Bigger. The shop is tiny, thus there really wasn't a lot of furniture there, so it really wasn't worth my drive. Overall, what a really cool idea. I really wanted to fall in love with this place, and was really excited to go check it out. But i can't get over the disappointment of what it actually was. Here's my compromise: If you're in the area, definitely stop by and check it out! Maybe you can spend more dough than I, and will find a piece that you absolutely adore. We choose the middle one b/c we liked it best. We scheduled the delivery on a weekend day so we could be there. About 3 weeks after purchase. It was delivered in a Steinhafels Truck- 3 workers. They called just before arriving. They were polite and careful. They ser it all up and checked that all the features worked. It was a pleasant experience so far. Be aware, it will be expensive but I wanted good,quality stuff. They are not pushy while shopping. Were told it would take 12-13 weeks. Around the 12 week mark, I called the store to check on delivery Was told it will be another 4 weeks! After that time passed, I called the store again. Furniture Not ready. After another phone call, said my chairs are in but not the parsons bench. I said how about delivering my chairs now and for the inconvenience of waiting longer than expected, not charging me another delivery fee. He said he has to clear it with the boss. The salesman said he will personally deliver the chairs. And he requested $20 to pay for his gas. I agreed since I was having company and really wanted my chairs. I finally got my parsons bench the end of June. Mine you, I was the one who had to keep calling Amish Furniture to see what's going on. If I was told in the beginning I would not get my parsons bench for 6 months, definitely would of not ordered. The furniture is very good quality. Customer service has a little bit to be desired. That's why I gave it three stars; because of customer service.
